Must be the cement guys. Years ago the Danish army got new vehicles, and the old ones was sold for almost nothing, on auctions around the country. They are veteran vehicles, which means they carry a black license plate and cost next to nothing in vehicle taxes. Not sure how it works with the new rules, but it used to be like that. And all those old Mercedes, from jeeps to trucks are pretty cool looking with the camo paint.

Tip for the bed: add a mattress topper! After 2 years sailing in the Caribbean with 2 times crossing the Atlantic Ocean, we were so happy to be sweating just in the mattress toppers. At the bigger laundry service you will be able to wash the cover and we even washed the foam in Bonaire. And your own mattress will stay clean.you could even put some extra mesh between the topper and the mattress for extra ventilation.
And yeah, you guys rock! So good to see you together!

A tiny shop vac makes a good housekeeping vacuum on the boat, and can deal with any wetness too, for sucking water out of bilges and other compartments.
If it has a blow port as well as a vacuum port this works REALLY well for inflating a dinghy. When we had an inflatable our tiny wet-vac would fill each air cavity before you could say "Spiffy" three times.
I am super glad that Ava now knows how to pronounce her future husband's name properly.
    "Mess"
After cleaning up.the dustbowl that is Athena I bet she will never forget that he is a "Mess."
No more sawing inside the boat Mads.

I’m a marine fabricator and that is a large cantilever effect with the arch. It’s OK in the marina but when your sailing there is a lot of inertia to consider. I really hope the hull deck is reinforced to cope with the cycling loads working 24/7

    • @SailLife

I’m guessing that’s there’s a neat marketing name other than “the squishy stuff that prevents condensation” if for no other reason than to save the cost of labeling. That said, I kinda like “the squishy stuff that prevents condensation.” BTW, I’m really impressed with the stern davit system you’ve engineered.
