I love the stories, especially in those country cemeteries. My wife and I drove to KY last weekend and visited her family's grave sites in Scaffold Cane Cemetery, south of Berea. When you walk among those very early stones, 1700s to 1800s, you just wonder about those good mountain folk. Many died at what we consider an early age. Many babies are there. Life was tough in those hills back in that early day.
I would love to go there. I really enjoy visiting cemeteries like that. Thank you for watching.
Honestly, sir, it's hard to pinpoint just one type of video for you. You are a master storyteller, and I genuinely feel like any journey you make is worth watching. I so enjoy being able to be in these journeys and visits with you...
That is so very kind of you. Thank you for watching. I really appreciate it.
It would be great to hear about some more historical military people from the civil war and War of 1812.
Great video as usual Whittdocs.
Thanks!
Great idea. Thanks so much for all the support, Ken.
I am a 7th generation Floridian with County parks and recreation facilities named for my family. Before Florida became an official state. Many family stories.....including betrayals.
I like famous people and beautiful old cemeteries
So do I. Thanks for watching.
I like the old cemeteries..
I do too. Some of my favorites.
Anytime you have a story behind the person buried, it is always interesting to me. I like to know about the person.
I’m the same way. I like knowing the person too.
Love the history!
Thank you so very much.
Enjoyed this video very much! I enjoy all different types of videos. So, I'm not much help!
Humphreys is an Name, so is Todd, surprised that you never mentioned that...🌻
Thanks for the comment.
I know that Abraham Lincoln is in heaven because he believed in Jesus.
Thank you so much for the comment.
Love these old cemetery’s!! So beautiful
I’m glad you’re enjoying.

@@Whittdocs that's great my friend
I like the old cemeteries just enjoy so much
I appreciate that. Thank you!
I love historical or small hidden cemeteries
So I do. Thanks so much for sharing that.
Wow what a vidro!!!❤❤💙💙I love ALL Cemeteries but I like the cemeteries with the unique graves that you rarely ever see. Can you show more if you can? Love this channel so very much!!!💙💙💚💚❤❤🙏🙏
I love the older cemeteries. I especially like the graves of not so famous people. Just ordinary folks with a life story. Famous people always are talked about. The saddest graves are children who haven't even had a chance to have a story to tell. I would like to know when there a lot of graves especially children dying in the same time frame was there an epidemic. going on. Love your videos.
I really appreciate that. I thank you so much for watching.
A lot of doctors in the old days was also the vet in a lot of places. I always wondered if there is anyone today left of the Todd family and Abe's family I. I love the old graveyards finding out about folks you know very little about.
Thanks so much for this comment. I appreciate your support.
Love this .I love history.Go to Savannah GA to Bonaventure Cementary .It's full of history, and historical people.
I would love to film there. Thank you so much for watching.

Here is a recommendation for an upcoming video. Why don't you do something of presidents 2 to 10.
Please think positive daily. ©®

I would love to do that.
Hello Mr whittdocs I'm a new subscriber, I think what you are doing is amazing please..... please....keep doing it I love your exploration of our country history thankyou many healthy safe loving blessing from above 😇❤🤗
Welcome aboard! I’m so glad that you’re enjoying. Thank you so very much.
I like the variety you deliver in your videos. This one, for example, gives us a look into the lives and final resting places of lesser known people related to a famous historical person. I'm only a short distance from the Lincoln family homestead where Lincoln's ancestors are buried and was the location from which his parents departed for their journey to Kentucky. So now I've learned about the family old Abe married into.
Others take us to places like the Battle of Franklin or the medical history museum in Bethesda that talk about events and provide a look at artifacts and the stories behind them. I share your interest in presidential graves, their homes and the times in which they live. But what I find most enjoyable is we never know where the next tour will take us and they are always enjoyable although sometimes sad and that's okay too.
You're a good story teller, you've done your research and take us to places we may never visit in person.
So my request is a simple one, just keeping doing what you do best, educate and entertain us.
You are so very kind. Thank you so much and I’m glad that you enjoy.
Chris, keep up the good work in your visits. Everything you do is so educational and informative. Thank you!!
I appreciate those kind words thank you.
I love the variety in your videos. I have a family connection to The Salem Witch Trials and would love to see something about that.
If I’m ever in Massachusetts, I want to film there. Thank you.
Old cemeteries. The older the better. 😁
I agree with that. Thank you.
Very interesting to see where Abe's other half's family were put to rest.👍
Yeah. It was a neat plot to visit. Thank you.
Enjoy all your tours, especially the older cemeteries. As a presidential history buff, I would love to see more of that heir graves and those of their families. This tour was wonderful!!
I would love to visit more historical graves. Thank you so much for the comment.
Keep covering what you have been doing!! Don't narrow down anything you have covered ok. Doing great as far as I am concered!! Harold Cooper 08/31/2023
The Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington, Illinois has som historial graves ranging from Supreme Court Justice, Vice Presidents, UN Amb., Baseball Hall of Famer, Lincoln's friends, and even "Dorothy" of Wizard of Oz
So very interesting. I to love the old cemetery’s the most.
I love the older ones too.
I am a Todd, my great aunt traced our history all the way back to Mary Lincoln Todd. I don’t know what’s cooler being related to someone who was married to Lincoln or us having our own family crest
wow what a beautiful cemetery and how amazing how they have buried everyone that close to each other, although you know me i like all your cemetery tours you do maybe a little bias towards the historical side but i really enjoy all your cemetery vlogs as well as seeing the different types of headstones always interesting and fascinating to listen to whatever you bring to the table for us to sit 'n' listen too from Across the pond in UK
I appreciate all of your support, Stephen. I appreciate your comment.
Excellent video & commentary.
Abraham Lincoln's family history 👍👌
I enjoy seeing the older cemeteries. They're beautiful and often are filled with history.
I Love historical graves!! I love the “commonly unknown” people who added to our history. ❤️
What I find interesting is that we know so much about Lincoln's in laws. In this case, it's because they were pretty prominent in their own right, as you suggest, but I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to find any video on UA-cam concerning the inlaws of any other president.
i love old cemeteries. could you go to Fletcher, Oklahoma to the Fletcher cemetery. my great uncle William Thomas Burge is buried there & although i have seen the grave on You tube it wasn't terrible clear.
I enjoy all of it. You have such a cool way of presenting. You research people and find fascinating facts. You remind everyone that these were lives. You also answer all comments.☺
That is so kind of you to say. I really appreciate your support.
I'd like to see more videos featuring the families of famous people. Thank you for doing all the research on this famous family...lots of good info.
Oh I just love these uploads !! Love history and hearing all your information! I love historical figures ! I’ve heard his body is very much still preserved to this day. Great job my buddy!!!
Thanks so much, Tim.
It would be nice to know where and see some of the historical figures graves from the American Revelation like Paul Revere.
I ask you some time back if you knew where country singer Jim Glaser , I lost contact but have you back now enjoy your program so much thank you ❣️
Hello! Thanks for watching again. I’m not exactly sure where he is.
@@Whittdocs thank you I like how you get back in touch with your fans I love walking through cemetery’s I love stories about Abraham Lincolns family thank you 🙏 your great !
@@barbarahoschouer234 I’ve got a few on my channel that relate to Abraham Lincoln. Hopefully you found them all. I hope to visit his tomb next year.
I enjoy all your videos. So whatever you do is fine with me. Have a good day.
This reminds me of the Roosevelt family at Green-wood cemetery in Brooklyn. I enjoy many of your subjects but one idea is murder victims. Are there any in your area that made headlines or perhaps their killer? Just another genre to consider. I hope you have a lovely Easter. - Meg
Thank you so much. I know that is a popular subject. Let me see what I can do.
Where is the grave of Mary tood Lincoln can you please tell me where she is laid to rest at is she laid to rest with her husband or by her self or is she with her family plot
I like the famous, infamous and historical...but in all honesty you have yet to do a video that I DIDN'T enjoy
You’re the man, Jason. I like that big gold that you unboxed.
Great video.
I also live in Lexington
Hi👍💯💜👏 I love the historical ones, the old family cemeteries. I love all of them. Knowing it take time to visit edit and post these videos. I appreciate your time and effort to bring these to us. Also traveling to visit these cemeteries cost. So whatever you share, my family and I appreciate it. And we enjoy watching together. Thank you. Stay blessed and be safe. Love respect and positivity.always.🦋🌻🌠🌈✨✝️🆗️🖐 neita James.
You are so kind. Thank you so much for that comment.
I enjoy them all. It isn't all about "famous" faces, there are every day, ordinary people who deserve to be acknowledged for anything they did in life too. That is one of the reasons I enjoy your videos, it's not all about the "celebrity" 😊 (EDA) Unless the celebrity is Tom Hanks of course 😍, who is apparently also related to Abraham Lincoln ???
Thank you so much. I really enjoy finding the people that have great stories that have never been told. I appreciate you watching.
Very cool as for me I like anything whether historical or whatever comes up.. thanks again for all your videos. I totally enjoy them. Wish I knew how to edit so I just do straight video
Editing is very much trial and error. Some of my early videos are awful. Lol. Thanks so much for watching.
I am kin to Abraham Lincoln..
Hi ! All your vlogs are awesome! For entertainment , Johnny Depp, George Clooney , and even the history of the Kentucky Derby might be interesting! Keep on vlogging and we will keep on watching ! Stay safe ! Deborah..... Winnipeg, Canada
I always appreciate your support. Thank you so much.
I've noticed that the majority of Graves visited in videos like this are of celebrities. I'd like to see more Graves and stories about people in sports that have passed. I'm mostly thinking of race car drivers. So many have died tragectly. There's one very close to where I live in Milwaukee, WI. A Winston cup champion is buried here. Alan Kulwicki died in a plane crash the year after he won the championship. Don't bother with "find a grave". Their location is completely wrong. If you wish to find it, send me a message and I'll give you a map of the exact location. Dale Earnhardts grave would give you lots of views. It's on private land and not accessible, but I was able to find it on Google maps in a satellite pic.
Thank you so much. I have some race car drivers on the way. I recently visited the grave of Kenny Irwin Jr.
Chris: Keep doing what you are doing. Your material is always informative and interesting. Though we might know much about the person you are featuring we learn something. Thanks for your interaction and reading and responding to the comments. It looks like you are getting close to the 14K subscriber mark. Take Care.
Thanks Matthew. That’s so very kind of you. I appreciate all of your support.
I like the mixture and enjoy whatever you do. However I really like the historical war hero's.
I appreciate the comment. Thank you so much.
Just found you today when Todd Family caught my attention. I'm the family historian and discovered my family has a connection. Benjamin Hardin Helm married Emilie Todd. Visited this cemetery for the first and only time so far in 2018.
Welcome aboard. I only do cemetery related videos. I hope you enjoy my videos. Thank you so much for watching.
I enjoy the history of cemeteries around the world and especially America's. I really enjoy your show as you have a great interest in the human history of every place you showcase. One area I would like to see explored are the old missions in California. I was born in Santa Barbara and the mission there is really amazing. There's so much history of the very early lives who impacted California. Thanks for creating a fascinating program, really enjoy every show and have been touched by the history of the families you highlight.
I truly appreciate your kind comment. Thank you. I would love to check out California.
Honestly, Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond Virginia is worth the drive. I just got back Monday from yet another trip there and its more beautiful each time.
I would love to go. I hope to make it some day.
Oh my gosh!!! I'm a Todd... we traced it back to Mary Todd Lincoln at one point.. but I don't remember what she would have been to me...
That’s so neat! Thanks for sharing that.
Just to add a bit of history. The Todd family that were of age fought for the Confederacy. Two of Mary Todd Lincoln's brothers that I know of died in the Civil War.
I appreciate the addition, Greg. Thanks for watching.
Wish you could do some on the Indian cemetery's. We have one here on the south of Miami, OK. It was almost lost, but since the late 60's, it has been taken care of very nicely. Thank you for asking.
Thanks so much for sharing that.
I like the famous, but somewhat forgotten movie stars, but enjoy the more obscure or forgotten ones. Also love the historical figures. Thanks for the videos!
Thank you so much. I do a mix of everything. I’ve also got a country cemetery series too. I appreciate you watching.
Thought about subscribing but wayyyy too many your pushing people to comment, subscribe & visit your other channels etc. I'm out.
I don’t understand what you’re even saying, but I’m about positivity and not negativity.
You put a lot of your soul into these stories. Great work. I am glad you did a story on
Dick the bruiser. My husband and I saw him in person back home in Hamtramck MI.
We had front row seats and it was so exciting. Talked to him in a hot minute and off he went.
I will always remember that night.
That’s a great comment. Thanks for sharing.
You should go to Bellefontaine Cemetary in St. Louis, MO. That place is awesome.
I would love to.
New subbie, greetings from Boston, Mass... great video, thank you
Welcome aboard! So glad to have you.
It's not just the type of cemetery you visit but all the history you provide. I am a genealogist and I love cemeteries. I appreciate you visiting and sharing your trips. So where ever you go I will be watching.
That is such a kind comment. Thank you so much.
I love all of the videos 💙 Lexington cemetery is a beautiful place I think Keep up the good work sir ✌️
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
I enjoy all of your videos but to answer your question I would have to pick historical cemeteries. Thank you for what you do.
I’m so glad that you enjoy. Thank you.
Yep Civil War graves.
Especially Major General James Birdseye McPherson. From an Australian Civil War buff . Thank you. 🇦🇺
Thank you so much!
I like anything about cemeteries, being an Australian it is all interesting, historical or celebrity. Probably doesn't help your question !
I appreciate you watching. Thanks so much.
I don't no all those people from the pass, but i like all of your video's.I hope you and you're family are doing good.😊🇳🇱
I appreciate that. Thank you so much. We are doing well.
I actually like all of the cemeteries you vlog. Old, new, famous, not famous, plain or ornate. So much history and so much to learn.
I really appreciate that. Thank you so very much.
I love & enjoy each & every one of your videos. The variety of videos that you produce are all amazing. I couldn't say that any style is my favorite. In every video you take so much time to research each & every grave & cemetery you visit. Thank you for allowing us to join you on your adventures.
That is so kind of you to say. Thank you so much for saying that.
I enjoy all of them. But if told choose, I admit I'm split between country cemeteries and historical cemeteries.
Sounds good to me. I’ll continue to do both of those.
You do a great job. Personally, I prefer the old country cemetaries that you find in small town America. The cemetaries that no one cares for or just forgotten.
I love those too. Thank you for watching.
So, Dr. David Todd, according to his tombstone, died at age 20 and he was a doctor? Did I read that correctly? If so, wow.
I need to go back and look, because I honestly didn’t notice.
I have no preference. If we did we might miss a very good story some where. I like your channel just like it is. God Bless
I really appreciate that. Thank you so much.
I don't really have a preference. I like the variety, so whatever you find most interesting (or whatever people in the comments section want) is fine with me.
I really appreciate that. Thank you.
I would love to see civil war heroes in the south since as a kid I have been to Gettysburg many times. I would also love to see graves from the the roaring ‘20s gangsters.
Those are awesome suggestions. Thank you.
Wow very interesting about Lincoln's in laws Lincoln is my favorite president
I appreciate your comment and your sharing that.
Famous politicians or country western singers. That is a hard question. Every video is good and you are very respectful of those resting there
Thank you so much. I filmed some early videos of mine in Nashville. You should check them out.
The presidents and country music singers and military
I’ve got more of those coming!
I enjoy all of the cemeteries that you visit, but the older cemeteries are my favorite. You were talking about the significance of the finger pointing up, there is a great book written by Tui Snider called Understanding Cemetery Symbols. It really is invaluable when exploring cemeteries. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
I would love to find that book. Thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate it.
I really love your videos and my favorites are the ones where you have a lot of history and historical people. However, everything you cover is interesting.
I greatly appreciate that. Thank you so much.
I think you are one of the only channels that explores the rural southern settler cemeteries off the beaten path. There are several others who explore celebrities but I appreciate in particular your videos of these unique pioneer communities.
I really appreciate that. Thank you so much.
Absolutely incredible I had no idea. Great job and Thank you
I appreciate that. Thank you so much.
Love all your videos. Would love to see some military historical grave sites
I’ll keep that in mind. Thank you so much!
No I do not have a preference
Historical and famous please if you make more videos I will watch forever
I really appreciate that. Thank you so much.
I just like any and all the different types you do! Keep up the good work.
I appreciate that. Thank you so much.
I love all cemetery tours!! I have been to most of the cemeteries out there. I live in northern ky. Suggestion is there's some really nice historical things of interest on lincoln out there.
I need to check those out. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching.
Love history so anything history wise also love famous grave sites too. Thanks for doing all these visits
I really appreciate that. Thank you so much.
The old cemetery's hold so much history They also have great stories artached to them. Thanks 😊💜
I really appreciate that. Thank you.
I love it all. I visited the Home of the todds 1 time. I wish I had known about the cemetery at that time.
I would love to visit the house. I’ve never been.
I like Civil War and other history especially Civil War
I love finding cemeteries with that type of history in it.
I messaged you on Facebook about that little cemetery I told you about
I’ll need to check it. I’ve been behind a little on my messages. Thank you Sheila.
Keep on going along with American historical tours.
I appreciate that. Thank you so much.
