@@ghostops-gd4ns Wait could you expand on this? wym by one of the late ones also u 100% sure its gonna be on fate/family if u are ill revise extra hard on fate/family
First rate turors prediction was actully right The question was how does dickens presents scrooge as a charcter who learns, something like that i forgot
To remember key themes our school gives us 3 big ideas for each text because a poetry. For Christmas Carols they are Importance of charity/social justice and responsibility, Importance of family/Christmas/other people, and Capability of redemption
What they probably won't be asking is, "Was Charles Dickens the original author of 'A Christmas Carol.'" Your grandchildren might get this question, however, and the answer--according to my 15 years of independent research--would be no. That research reveals Americans Mathew Franklin Whittier and Abby Poyen Whittier as the original co-authors.
That would be interesting like how Scrooge reacts to Fred inviting him to the Christmas party and his lack of enthusiasm towards his nephew, I think it would be good to show Scrooges character progression using Fred as a foil almost
I dont know if they will actually do this considering lower level students may find it difficult to expand on that type of question, could come up though…
Omg I was reading the whiteboard whilst you were talking and I saw mr salles on it and I was like wtf who is that character I’ve never even heard of him it really shit me up ngl😂
@@NikoomilanoYes I agree it could be both! However Stave 1 may be seen as “too easy” maybe?? Because it could on really be on Scrooges first description or his interactions at the work house. You never know though
i remember in the "how does dickens use crachits to show the the struggles of the poor" one that i struggled a bit with the question as i felt a bit limited to go to other points in the book. I talked about the beginning with how bob crachit is like in a "dismal little cell" with only a small candle " to keep warmth" but then i wasnt sure what else
You can talk about the use of a fire motif within the novella where the cratchits are sat near a ‘fire’ which ‘the chestnuts on the fire spluttered and cracked noisily’ demonstating how the family is full of love and affection for one another
@@MrSallesTeachesEnglish its a really a risky game to play . but with what youve predicted im pretty sure i can link to any theme or character . im confident i can smash it tmr

My English teacher said we can link poverty to scrooges fears by talking about how scrooges past being poor and alone leads him to be greedy in order to maintain his wealth so he doesn't have to return to a life of poverty. how long does an essay need to be? i struggle with actually having enough time to write about acc because i write too much about macbeth.
thesis and 3 paragraphs
they repeated lady Macbeth I really thought it was gonna be about supernatural or guilt

co-authors have less of a role than authors don’t they?

Yes, that is Belle's account of why he becomes a miser.
how would you rank Macbeth, ACC and AIC in terms of difficulty to write a high grade essay on?
You need to write less for AIC because most students don’t remember enough quotes. So the order you have listed, hardest first
