I normally don’t like commenting on videos, but this one was so full of truth. I did not expect this video to be what it was but man you were real life preaching and teaching. And I commend you for making it because God wanted you to get that message out because there are those that need to hear. I agree the UA-cam basketball scene is toxic at times and they exaggerate the drama to generate views and ultimately revenue. And it’s the same in almost every aspect of the UA-cam community now, where sex and sexual innuendos are used as forms of “entertainment”. And it’s really sad because a lot of that is targeted to our youth, whom a ton of are really lost in this world. As believers and followers of Jesus we have to be set apart. So, thank you for this message and choosing to not follow the crowd. 💯 💙

I understand exactly what you mean. That’s part of the reason why I stopped playing. Basketball started to become toxic. I just wanted to have fun but in order for others to respect me I had to be ruthless and then when I wouldn’t try as hard I was judged. I love basketball but after awhile it stopped connecting with me. I’m in the San Antonio area if your ever near let us know time and place. I would love to just be able to have fun with it again!

Thank you for being real on this video! I understand where your coming from and understood the community you are speaking about. I almost didn’t notice it at first but the TITLES from that community or influencers began getting more and more TOXIC. The energy in the videos were getting darker. The profanity and wrath had me watching the videos with the volume off at times. & I know that because of the growth these channels keep seeking to capitalize off of that energy. You being a phenomenal Hooper could have greatly benefited off of those platforms. But as someone who’s following Christ, you had a decision to make. You chose to allow Jesus Christ to exalt you in His timing ⏱️. & you’d like Him to exalt you with the correct content. Basketball is a beautiful medium that can be used to reel people in and share the gospel. It would just take someone willing to surrender and build a ministry around it. no it doesn't. this video in itself is pushing a narrative that people will latch onto and run with. look at all the little girls complaining about FRIGA and THE NEXT CHAPTER. thats why this video isn't good, because its inadvertently implying that Friga and Scotty's content is solely revolved around promoting negativity...when if you actually watch the end of the games, it isn't. they all laugh and smile with eachother and call eachother brothers in the end. SPORTSMANSHIP. thats ultimately the takeaway in those videos. they even got folks tryna say Friga is using his friends for content, getting money off of their backs. its disgusting the blatant conclusions these people will come to after watching a video LIKE THIS. i hope DeAllen either clarifies his statements here and tries to articulate them better or just takes this down completely. its sending a bad message out about other people's intentions, which can cause trouble to them...like it is right now.

@@ddave7026 and after it was expressed to Scar that he needed to stop doing that...guess what he did....he stopped. because he knows its no real animosity there, so why would he continue to disrespect him if he understands now that he actually needs to stop? in the video the cameraman literally walks up to Scar encouraging him to not get so riled up, and Scar says he's not actually upset (with a smile on his face) and he's just doing it because its Skoob...admitting he knows he has to. or atleast he thought he had to. what he didn't understand is that Skoob legit plays better in toxic environments. that was the miscalculation on Scar's part
I was a pretty decent athlete/ fighter. But I felt empty, something was never quite right, I couldn't put my finger on it now. Now I did believe in God but then the day came where I realized I had no relationship with God. That's when it put me on my knees. I cried for days and weeks, I fasted I prayed. Prayed I joined the church slowly. I'm getting there.

You're right but it's bigger than just basketball it's society as a whole. The internet has made it cool to put others down but at the same time I don't think this pertains to all basketball content on UA-cam. Infighting and arguing has been a staple in any competitive sport since the beginning of time. As long as it doesn't go any further than the game and respect is shown after I see it as nothing more than pushing your brothers to play past their limit and play their best which is what I see in Friga Fam and TNC. The intensity of the games when there's a little more to play for than just money really makes the games that much better than any normal game.
I don't agree with your message around the 17:00 mark though. Just because you have more to gain doesn't mean you shouldn't put out a good message or do good things. It's the same idea as the people who record themselves donating $1000 to street vendors or the homeless. At the end of the day that person might be making $3000 off of that video but they were still able to make someones life better whereas without that video they wouldn't have the means or money to do so otherwise. Social media has given us more power than we've ever had. A normal person can pull enough donations to give thousands away with a single video. Even in the basketball scene there are guys that set their whole team up giving them opportunities to play ball outside of professional leagues through content. Well why doesn't everyone do this since it's so easy? There are plenty of greedy people who have tried and failed to copy the same blueprint but couldn't succeed. Either way god bless, this made me think a bit deeper than I have in a while.

Tempers gonna flare shoot me and my family get into it all the time at game nights that’s gonna happen but at end of the day all them guys like friga and next chapter and ball is life keep it on the court and have REAL FRIENDSHIPS their message is you can compete and go to war in a game against your friends and still show love afterwards and that’s 💯

So in summary, not everything is what it looks like, basketball is entertainment and business, Friga and TNC management probably not the good dudes ppl think they are, so you stepped away from it all. You were a bit cryptic but thats what I could piece together here.
I hope that you will find your way, since basketball is not it, because it is entertainment plain and simple, so much you already figured out. I share your sentiment about kids clicking the vids for the drama, but not everyone is like that, I personally liked what you guys were doing because it was about basketball played the right way, even though there was a bit of drama here and there, it seemed to be about positive vibes rather than creating conflict every step of the way. I agree though, that with the mixing of Friga Fam and TNC alot more of that came up, mostly because of the personalities involved, lots of alphas in one spot, and people who seem to thrive in creating the over the top shouting and shoving matches.
Anyhow, I only wish you the best whatever you may decide to do with your life and positive energy, even if it just ends up being absorbed by someone else and they are motivated to do something good with that, that would already be a good thing. Keep your head up DeAllen!
If you can’t Glorify God through basketball, that should be your ultimate sacrifice to God the way God gave up his Son because He love the world so much. 1 John 2:16, 17 say, Do not love either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16 because everything in the world-the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life-does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. Based off scriptures like this we ask ourselves, can i live the remaining of my life living for God’s purpose rather then my own. Choosing Gods way make us Christ like in our decision making.

I see what you’re saying but I will say, he’s paying for flights hotels meals and transportation in addition to social media promo. Jleww and kam are the two players he directly signed and they’ve both amassed a ton of followers since collabing with him. In addition kam has come up on bread and assets from friga.
However I do agree that lately since he himself has not been hooping, he’s essentially making money off peoples beef.

Friga is giving those guys a PLATFORM to make themselves a name off of. you acting like they're only on Friga's channel, they aren't. those dudes have been given the chance to branch off to Ballislife and In The Lab of all places, and it's all thanks to Friga. he encourages them to do that. stop making up narratives and drama just because you may not like the content they put out, or maybe you just don't like Friga at all. Keep in mind, Friga's channel has turned down the negativity aspect of his content ASTRONOMICALLY since he first popped off doing park runs "in the hood" where he'd almost get beat up and scratched up after every game. now his channel shows love and brotherhood, a bond over the enjoyment of the game and competition. and he isn't the only one that's able to eat from it now...other people can too. you're apart of the problem that's wrong with the community and DeAllen is too for making this video that ultimately fuels the fire of people like you. this video gives y'all something to create a narrative about, the same narratives he's speaking against within the vid.
