I am running the NC Xida on my ST5 race car, very predictive in handling.

This product is the reason why I’ve bumped the NC to the top of my list for my next fun/track car. Looking forward to being a happy owner as soon as the used car market cools off a bit.

Now I really want these, but I already have ohlins. As it's a pure streetcar, it's a little silly to do. If you guys keep making these for years, I'll definitely be back for a set. I definitely bottom out the rears on deep compressions when I'm carrying some speed. (Which I am a lot more often after turboing it) It doesn't upset the car at all as you mention but it certainly can't be particularly good for anything.

Thoughts on these vs ohlins for a very aggressive canyon car?

Great video. I've been following the development of these shocks from the beginning. They look very well engineered for the NC platform, offering truly long travel in the rear. Hopefully, I'll be replacing my low quality MeisterR GT1 (7/5) with this Xida kit soon.
I have few questions, if I may:
    1. Are these neoprene shock covers necessary to fit? Will there be option of rubber boots (like in the front) available in the future? It's a shame to cover such nice shocks with a black bag. On the other hand I'm worried about moisture and dirt cumulating under the covers.
    2. What is the longevity of torrington bearings? Do they require any maintenance to avoid seizing?
    3. Will you offer some table with preliminary adjustments/measurements that will roughly translate to ride height? If one is aiming at close-to-stock ride height and comfortable drive, would tender springs be still necessary?
    Thank you in advance.

Excellent questions 1. Our rubber boots are not compatible with the inverted rear design. 2. The Torringtons last for years. A bit of WD40 on them helps prevent corrosion. Inexpensive replacement are available on our website. 3. Instructions will have some basic guidelines regarding ride heights to get you started. 4. Tenders are included, not optional. Nothing gained by deleting them.

Nice job presenting these new NC Xidas. Did you already post the other videos mentioned at the beginning? If so, can you add links to them in the description?

Will there be a video for the ND coilovers coming also? Thinking about stepping up from my Fox Racing set.

I can’t wait to get xida but I would love to see how these compare to the bc racing zr there ain’t much on them yet

Different league altogether. Like comparing a Kia Stinger to a Porsche GT3. The Xida damper is made for us by Tractive in the Netherlands. Same shocks that are on Pagani, BMW 1000RR, Dallara..

With them having about the same price point I think it would be closer guess not huh

@@strangegaming1418 Yup, that throws a lot of people off. BC are on pro drifters cars that get free shocks. Tractive are on $3M hypercars that pay for their shocks. Different world.

The bc racing uses two piece shock bodies just like ohlins. It's such a shame cuz it really is a major flaw for the NC. I wish they'd atleast make a single body for the rears. That would make them excellent choices for their price but because they don't, they fall extremely short on compression travel before hitting bump stops

    Why the reupload?

Raised sound level. You probably noticed how low the sound level was. Had to re-upload as there is no method to correct it once uploaded. Still not perfect but much better now. Sorry! Your original comment: "I am loving all this content. I am learning a lot. If I get an ND again, I am considering upgrading my first-gen (Xida) ACE's to the new spec"
