Please also pray that Lillie, andrew, Laura and Alex come to Jesus. My 19yr old youngest son went out to spread the gospel this afternoon for the first time. Mark, I had trouble with reading as well and I have a strong memory of going to Sunday school and I was ask to read and when I did the teacher humiliated me in front of the class and I remember her laughing at me because I could pronounce a word. I stopped going to Sunday school but wouldn’t tell the pastor or my parents why. I was so shy. I’m not a bad reader now but I’m not strong with it. I taught many children in Sunday school over the years and I made sure I encouraged them and loved them all. Satan didn’t win Jesus broke through the darkness.

I make sure before they get to a difficult word to interrupt and say-this a a hard word, I am not sure how to pronounce it, but let’s try…this….sometimes the kids laugh at me, we all laugh, n it makes everyone more comfortable. 🙏🏼GOD BLESS🕊

Mark, as a teacher (retired) I can tell you that your teacher deeply regrets her impatience. That was her personal imperfection. Also, she did not understand that you were heroic, standing up to read and doing your very best for her and the class, every time. Ten years into teaching, I trained in dyslexia and other learning struggles, and it totally changed the way that I taught, because it gave me great insights into academic, emotional, and comprehension struggles. No one is perfect, there is no such thing! (Except God.) I wish all student teachers would be required to take Special Education courses as part of their training, yes, even the Math and Science teachers; all teachers.
That sounds like excellent advice for new teachers…. To take the additional classes. I love that Mark didn’t sound like he took her behavior personally. That’s the best part of the story. We live in a world of fallen, imperfect humans (me included). That’s the trick, to not take it all personally. Difficult to navigate this world.

Mark, that story about your teacher shaking your desk and that it was like an 8 on the Richter scale made me laugh. I had a visual there. Thanks for the laugh 😃. I've got a sad thing to do tomorrow. My little dog, a chihuahua, has cancer, and now a horrible infection has come into her eye, and jaw, swelling up terribly. She won't let me give her medication and so I know it's time to say goodbye. I know it's a dog, and not a person, but it's family to me just the same. She is in obvious pain. I keep praying that she will just pass today or tonight in her sleep, and that God will help her cope over night if I am to do this tomorrow. Hope you don't mind that I mentioned this. I do watch you every Sunday. Thank you for all the encouragement, and I love your cheerful disposition. God has surely called you to encourage as well as other things. Mark, I thank you for your encouragement so much and you’re in my prayers. I have felt beyond spent for the last few years, but this year the physical effects of the spiritual warfare have just been wearing me down. The nightmares, demonic attacks in my sleep and from family members, has been really difficult. I’m only 31 but feel like my body has aged a lot from everything. I don’t have any good friends who are Christians trying to walk closely with the Lord, so its been a lonely road. I know many of you feel the same and know I am praying God’s peace, love and protection over you

Somedays I don't know if I have it in me to continue fighting, but everyday the Lord continues to wake me up, (even if I do only get just a few hours of sleep) and I learn a new way to trust in Him and patiently wait for Jesus' return. I must say the weariness is so palpable, I'm just so tired... The spiritual warfare has leveled up. I thought Jesus would've been here by now, I thought for sure He was coming last year but here we are... I suppose it's not time yet and we are seeing so many more things come to pass. I wonder how much longer we have, it feels like forever on this side of eternity, I just want to go home and with Jesus already. The world only continues to grow darker and darker.. Thank you for encouraging us and uplifting all of us.

Mark, I'm an avid reader and do just the opposite. I would read it and jump over words and " summarize" the sentence being so nervous. I had to learn to read slowly and methodically. Frankly, reading the words of the Scriptures slowly give us opportunity to receive the weight and meaning of His Word as the Holy Spirit ministers. Thank you for sharing, praying, and loving us. His early year teachers were harsh with him, too. 💔 So my mother and I tried to help him to read using phonetics, but he has always only been able to read by memorization of the words. (I’m quite amazed at his ability to do this-How much more intelligent you’d have to be to read this way! Surely, a gift from the Lord!) In later years, he compensated for his difficulties in school by becoming quite the comedian and this endeared him to his teachers and students! To God be the Glory! 🌟☝🏻💯

I had perfect vision until age 40 and it has been downhill from there! 🤓 Even had cataracts removed when I was 51. I was ahead of the curve! Needed glasses ever since. Well, I guess it is the nature of aging. I can't believe how cold it is there in Maine . Today, in Missouri it was in the high 50's. I just pray the rapture happens soon. Laugh and the whole world will laugh with you when you cry you cry alone unless they tears of laughter and joy in your heart when you have a ability to laughter a art of turning someone who is down to lifting them up in creating laughter. I get into trouble when I see people looking glum and my weekly shopping experience has become a tonic to the madness that we’ve been experiencing for jokes and humorous comments at the checkout counter and meeting and greeting the staff when we do the grocery shopping for having the staff members to look out for us to enjoy our banter with always slipping in the Lord Jesus now and again with acknowledging our happiness comes from the joy of peace of mind that comes from the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. I use everything and every day situations where I can relate them to biblical stories and the fallen world and how it all ties in with the scenes of our lives in modern times in comparison with the people of biblical stories of a picture painting a thousand words of illustration of setting a scene in relation with scripture. Someone strokes my arm in saying I ought to consider being a public speaker and I said that in my eyes I was always a public speaker and serving as a messenger of my first love of Jesus Christ in my heart being directed by the way of the Bible in my ability to paint a picture that relates to the world and Sodom and Gomorrah in sexual immortality and lawlessness and discrimination and injustice in slavery of the people in a modern day Egypt is what is happening now.
Thank you for your encouraging messages, brother Mark! I'm not real sure, tho, if everyone I've known will be there to greet me in Heaven. God's Word is very clear....no one will enter Heaven if they have not repented of their sins, and all of us have sinned, and trusted 100% in the finished work of the Cross, followed by His Resurrection from the dead. I recently lost a friend who truly thought she was good enough, without Christ, to go to Heaven. That in itself is the sin of self righteousness! We are Not good enough by ourselves to enter through Heaven's perfect gates. That's why Christ yhe Lord came to earth, as a human, but also as God....He became the perfect God-Man who sacrificed Himself for our sins, and then defeated death by His Resurrection! We are guaranteed admittance to Heaven, but only on His terms....that we Repent (turn away from) our sins and trust 100% in Christ as Lord and Savior of our souls!! Since I know personally of people who have died thinking they are ok without Jesus, I'm horrified that these precious souls died in their sins, and will Not partake of the perfect glory and joy of Heaven with our Maker and Savior! John 3:16, 17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16, 17 Shalom, Brethren! 💜🕊💜✡️✝️💜🕊💜

Hi Mark. Getting glasses isn't a big deal. I didn't require them until a few years ago. I got sunglasses for day time and clear for driving at night. It's much better. About reading. I can definitely relate. I remember in school when the teacher would go around the class and get us all to read, one by one. I would dread my turn because I had such a hard time reading too. I used to always hope for some reason to get out of reading. I remember the whole class laughing at my reading because the teacher told everyone to laugh at me. I never forgot that, felt terrible. How awful..just because she didn't like how you read.😱😖 I remember a teacher pulling me out of my desk seat at school by my blouse then pushing me back down & pulling me up again all because I didn't know the answer to her question. Then she took me out in the hall & slammed me up against the wall...yikes😨🙈. I'm now 68 yrs old & I remember that like it was yesterday😥 the things we remember😕 Thank God for Jesus!!!🙏👏😊

Mark, I had trouble with reading as well and I have a strong memory of going to Sunday school and I was ask to read and when I did the teacher humiliated me in front of the class and I remember her laughing at me because I could pronounce a word. I stopped going to Sunday school but wouldn’t tell the pastor or my parents why. I was so shy. I’m not a bad reader now but I’m not strong with it. I taught many children in Sunday school over the years and I made sure I encouraged them and loved them all. Satan didn’t win Jesus broke through the darkness.

Mark, as a teacher (retired) I can tell you that your teacher deeply regrets her impatience. That was her personal imperfection. Also, she did not understand that you were heroic, standing up to read and doing your very best for her and the class, every time. Ten years into teaching, I trained in dyslexia and other learning struggles, and it totally changed the way that I taught, because it gave me great insights into academic, emotional, and comprehension struggles. No one is perfect, there is no such thing! (Except God.) I wish all student teachers would be required to take Special Education courses as part of their training, yes, even the Math and Science teachers; all teachers.
They have to now since inclusion is for all classes in California high schools.
That sounds like excellent advice for new teachers…. To take the additional classes.
I love that Mark didn’t sound like he took her behavior personally. That’s the best part of the story. We live in a world of fallen, imperfect humans (me included). That’s the trick, to not take it all personally. Difficult to navigate this world.

Mark, that story about your teacher shaking your desk and that it was like an 8 on the Richter scale made me laugh. I had a visual there. Thanks for the laugh 😃. I've got a sad thing to do tomorrow. My little dog, a chihuahua, has cancer, and now a horrible infection has come into her eye, and jaw, swelling up terribly. She won't let me give her medication and so I know it's time to say goodbye. I know it's a dog, and not a person, but it's family to me just the same. She is in obvious pain. I keep praying that she will just pass today or tonight in her sleep, and that God will help her cope over night if I am to do this tomorrow. Hope you don't mind that I mentioned this. Mark, I thank you for your encouragement so much and you’re in my prayers. I have felt beyond spent for the last few years, but this year the physical effects of the spiritual warfare have just been wearing me down. The nightmares, demonic attacks in my sleep and from family members, has been really difficult. I’m only 31 but feel like my body has aged a lot from everything. I don’t have any good friends who are Christians trying to walk closely with the Lord, so its been a lonely road. I know many of you feel the same and know I am praying God’s peace, love and protection over you

When you pray, tell the Lord of your troubles (He knows them already, but this helps you to truly release-LET GO-of them). It is so important to LEAVE them with Him and know, without doubting, that He is fully in control and is more than able, and willing, to take care of you. 💯%

Somedays I don't know if I have it in me to continue fighting, but everyday the Lord continues to wake me up, (even if I do only get just a few hours of sleep) and I learn a new way to trust in Him and patiently wait for Jesus' return. I must say the weariness is so palpable, I'm just so tired... The spiritual warfare has leveled up. I thought Jesus would've been here by now, I thought for sure He was coming last year but here we are... I suppose it's not time yet and we are seeing so many more things come to pass. Mark, I'm an avid reader and do just the opposite. I would read it and jump over words and " summarize" the sentence being so nervous. I had to learn to read slowly and methodically. Frankly, reading the words of the Scriptures slowly give us opportunity to receive the weight and meaning of His Word as the Holy Spirit ministers. Thank you for sharing, praying, and loving us. It did make me sad to hear your story about the teacher being so harsh with you about your reading. 😢 My brother has dyslexia, so has always had great difficulty reading and writing. His early year teachers were harsh with him, too. 💔
So my mother and I tried to help him to read using phonetics, but he has always only been able to read by memorization of the words. (I’m quite amazed at his ability to do this-How much more intelligent you’d have to be to read this way! Surely, a gift from the Lord!)
In later years, he compensated for his difficulties in school by becoming quite the comedian and this endeared him to his teachers and students! To God be the Glory! 🌟☝🏻💯

I had perfect vision until age 40 and it has been downhill from there! 🤓 Even had cataracts removed when I was 51. I was ahead of the curve! Needed glasses ever since. Well, I guess it is the nature of aging.

Laugh and the whole world will laugh with you when you cry you cry alone unless they tears of laughter and joy in your heart when you have a ability to laughter a art of turning someone who is down to lifting them up in creating laughter. I get into trouble when I see people looking glum and my weekly shopping experience has become a tonic to the madness that we’ve been experiencing for jokes and humorous comments at the checkout counter and meeting and greeting the staff when we do the grocery shopping for having the staff members to look out for us to enjoy our banter with always slipping in the Lord Jesus now and again with acknowledging our happiness comes from the joy of peace of mind that comes from the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. I use everything and every day situations where I can relate them to biblical stories and the fallen world and how it all ties in with the scenes of our lives in modern times in comparison with the people of biblical stories of a picture painting a thousand words of illustration of setting a scene in relation with scripture. Someone strokes my arm in saying I ought to consider being a public speaker and I said that in my eyes I was always a public speaker and serving as a messenger of my first love of Jesus Christ in my heart being directed by the way of the Bible in my ability to paint a picture that relates to the world and Sodom and Gomorrah in sexual immortality and lawlessness and discrimination and injustice in slavery of the people in a modern day Egypt is what is happening now.

I'm not real sure, tho, if everyone I've known will be there to greet me in Heaven. God's Word is very clear....no one will enter Heaven if they have not repented of their sins, and all of us have sinned, and trusted 100% in the finished work of the Cross, followed by His Resurrection from the dead.
I recently lost a friend who truly thought she was good enough, without Christ, to go to Heaven. That in itself is the sin of self righteousness! We are Not good enough by ourselves to enter through Heaven's perfect gates. That's why Christ yhe Lord came to earth, as a human, but also as God....He became the perfect God-Man who sacrificed Himself for our sins, and then defeated death by His Resurrection! We are guaranteed admittance to Heaven, but only on His terms....that we Repent (turn away from) our sins and trust 100% in Christ as Lord and Savior of our souls!!
Since I know personally of people who have died thinking they are ok without Jesus, I'm horrified that these precious souls died in their sins, and will Not partake of the perfect glory and joy of Heaven with our Maker and Savior!

Hi Mark. Getting glasses isn't a big deal. I didn't require them until a few years ago. I got sunglasses for day time and clear for driving at night. It's much better. About reading. I can definitely relate. I remember in school when the teacher would go around the class and get us all to read, one by one. I would dread my turn because I had such a hard time reading too. I used to always hope for some reason to get out of reading. I remember the whole class laughing at my reading because the teacher told everyone to laugh at me. I never forgot that, felt terrible. Thank you so very much for your encouragement and prayers, I enjoyed this so very much, Would you please pray 🙏 for my friend Nicholas his co workers are stirring up trouble because he is a Christian working in company that has turned to a certain acceptance of certain things because he will not agree to accept these things he may lose his job and only income, It is coming to all business values soon unfortunately but unless he accepts the new wording and new movement they are stirring up trouble for him , he has been respectful without compromising but on Tuesday he will be in a meeting with HR to decide whether they terminate him or not , Please Pray for his ability to stand firm in his beliefs and that they don't terminate him up until now he has not been in trouble and has done his job well , My heart is breaking for him , Thank You for your Prayers, God Bless You Brother Mark and Your Family 🤗❤️🙏

I remember a teacher pulling me out of my desk seat at school by my blouse then pushing me back down & pulling me up again all because I didn't know the answer to her question. Then she took me out in the hall & slammed me up against the wall...yikes😨🙈. I'm now 68 yrs old & I remember that like it was yesterday😥 the things we remember😕

Even when I feel discouragement trying to wash over me, I take it to the Lord and I keep it real...the Lord already knows, so I will tell Him I'm in a funk and I ask the Holy Spirit for strength.
