That can rotator is super cool! Also, love that wine drawer. Great project, April. This is going to give you a TON of extra storage.
The can rotator is the prototype for a Wandelian can machine that'll occupy a city block. And I understand just how much you love the outfeed table, as mine is a concrete driveway.
Warm weather again in north Texas this week! No more temps that start with "1" or "2"!
Fab job April. Imho the only way to get a decent pantry/cupboard etc is to DIY - we are the only people who understand our own storage needs & the way we live & how we use everything in our homes.
A quick tip from a wine freak on storage: the cork end should be a bit lower than the bottom of the bottle so as to always keep the cork moist (not needed for screw caps or synthetic corks). Taking a 1/2 inch off the bottom of the piece holding that end of the bottle will accomplish this.
As a bit of an expert, is being in the same room as the dryer (heat) an issue? Don't drink anything but water, myself, but always thought wine needed to be stored in cool conditions like a cellar.
Very good idea April
Multifunctional one of a kind layout
Looks good in white
April works v hard , she deserves as many sponsors as she can get good going girl nice project v useful TY
Wow, April. I've been watching your channel from the beginning. You've grown from a shop with few tools to an amazing array of tools and supplies. Your knowledge and expertise has also grown from the beginning. What you've done inside and outside your home is amazing. It's been a pleasure watching you grow, and I suspect there's nothing you can't handle. Thanks for a great, informative, and entertaining channel!
This is absolutely, by far, the very Best pantry organizer I have ever seen!
Looks like a good time for a glass of wine! Turned out great
I'm new to wood working and I greatly enjoy your videos and learning a new craft. Please keep making cool stuff and showing folks how you did it. Thank you.
I can tell you have the crud like the rest of us in Texas. Kudos for pulling this one together. I have been sick off and on since the week of Thanksgiving...that last project is right where I left it on the table saw. Love Texas, hate when the Ashe juniper makes everyone sick. It seems to be extremely bad with the elevated rainfall and mild summer we had.
April I am now convinced that you can do anything you put your mind to.I'm quite sure that there are some people out there that look to you as a role model. Now that is a really long way from when you first started.AWESOME job.
keep up the great work
I absolutely love all the slide out!!! The rotating can shelf is killer!! I want three of these!!!
I love the can rack rotator idea. Great video.
Cool April!!!! Those can-machine-drawers are awesome.
hahahaha, well i have a large shop too, wood working, steel working,
cabinetry, and major big 15k to 40k machines i lease out and seldom have
to work on, fabricate, and design new pieces for the industry i created
to provide services/ work in... i just found your page, and cudos
April... You only live once, and make a life that YOU and your family
will enjoy, and remember.... You have to be happy with Yourself
first..... continue on the great work.... and what i am lacking
bad......NEATNESS!!!!..... Greatings from next door in Louisiana.... good old USA
Love it at the end where you open and close the drawers. I built a kitchen island with ship lap. Opening and closing the drawers with extension glides very satisfying. And, you stand back and say "Yep, I built that."
Yes, nothing more satisfying! Thanks for watching.
Just getting ready to build kitchen drawers. Thanks for some cool ideas
Very clever, love the can storage. The only suggestion I would make is the wine storage. If you do not plan on drinking the wine pretty fast. It needs to to kept at a constant cool temperature in the dark. Like a basement or an insulated box in a closet. I know one man who uses his crawl space under the house. It is in California so it doesnt freeze.
You say "I'm not a professional" but you work exactly how the professionals. Great job! Congratulations! Thank you very much to share your experience.
Genius! April I love your designs and the way you show how to build them - not too many unnecessary explanations - actions speak louder than words! I always learn - thanks!
I'd love to see your version of a camp chuck box. And a little video of you enjoying it afield.
Loved that can slider great idea April great job.
Another great project! I like the point that Aserta made regarding the bottom of the wine drawer being made from plexiglass. My contribution: make sure the angle of the wine bottle is at least 15 degrees lower at the mouth of the bottle, (the larger area at the rear is called the "punt"), so that the cork remains moist and does not dry out. {For all yous wise guys,...don't go there! Look it up. It' a real ting! Lol}
As always - thank you for your efforts!
I love this! I need a cabinet of this size for my camera equipment. The pull out drawers are perfect for being able to see what's in them.
Awesome! Enjoy the build!
I like the can rotating and wine holder idea!
I think if I were to build one, I'd add a pull out drawer-like step "stool" box since I'm short!
Excellent work April 👌🏻👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻!
That's a great idea. You could build it into the frame at the bottom where the bottom sits on. It could pull out and maybe unfold so you could have something with height. Hmm yeah I like that. I typically store lots on the top like paper towels and such so a built in step stool would be great.
exactly where I'd place it April. If you didn't use glue, you can always go back and make the add on if it's not too much hassle.
I love that it is white instead of "clear coat for protection". It fits perfectly in your laundry room.
Very well done April.
That drill with removable chuck is pretty sweet, can't lie.
I've never done any woodworking but i love watching your videos. Great work on this.
Very Nice. Drawers in pantry cupboards make great for organising.
Nice build April. A cabinet like that could be used in any room really. I can see building something like that for my daughter's bedroom - just paint or decorate it differently. I like it!
I like your spray paint shelf, never seen that before. And cool can shelf too. And cool paper dispenser for your outfeed table.
The can rotation drawer is awesome! Great build as always April :)
Yup, slick design.
I made a FIFO (first in first out) system several years ago and the wife loves it. I hadn't thought about placing it in a drawer so it would work sideways though (looks like it results in a larger selection). The construction method is slightly different too, but they are great just the same.
Hi April. Been watching your channel for a while now. Had to post when ai noticed where you installed the unit. I stacked my washer and dryer about a year ago. Everyone thought I was crazy until they saw the results. My laundry closet also has my breaker box so I can not put in the pantry. I did put in shelves up high and a cabinet below though. love your builds.
so glad I found this channel
Another creative, Innovative and useful storage solution.
Glad to see it installed & in use, nice you did that part.
Thanks for the ideas. I'm getting ready to build a shelving unit for a clothes closet, and several of the things you did here will come in handy.
I appreciate your taking on sponsors to help you continue to make these informative videos.
Never seen that method of loading cans in to a drawer to make sure the oldest get used first in all my days.
I would never have thought of anything so relatively simple yet truly useful in a million years.
Problem solvers - I'd be doomed without them...
I have to say your ideas are awesome the only downside is every time my wife sees your projects I end up with a lot more work. Keep up the great work!!!
Well at least you won't run short on things to build her as a surprise if you ever get into the dog house and need a way out. ;)
Dang!Girl! That is so cool my fav is that roll out can so cool very neat!
April, Thank you for your dedication to your passion! You are an inspiration to me to get out and work (even when I dont want to) and I hope you are inspiring the next generation to step out from in front of the screen and get their hands dirty!!
I like the outfeed table and have needed one forever on my saw but what I really like is the craft paper dispenser on the outfeed end. That is a sweet bit of genius. Great looking pantry BTW.
Love the can rota-tor idea.
Nice job, quick cool tip when I made mine I used plexiglass bottoms in my top drawers. You can see from underneath what's in the drawer.
Excellent project April, in particular the can dispenser is terrific but you put the most important thing the vino up to high lol, keep on making 👍👍👍
That can rotator is a fantastic idea; I don't even need the full pantry organizer but I'd definitely make use of that thing! Oh and great video as always, April.
I love your solution for storing wine April!!
I wished I'd learned carpentry when I was young. I'm a 63 year young woman now... But I love the tools and the work. You do a great job. Congratulations, Great Video. 😊👍
Thanks! You can still do projects on a small scale if you want. Don't let age deter you. Thanks for watching.
Nicely done April.
Love the can rotator! Great idea.
Love the can rotation drawers
Very good project April. Turned out really good. Thanks for the video.
Well done April, cracking Job
when doing drawers above eye height, it helps if the bottom is something you can see through, like a mesh, acrylic, a grid/lattice etc
Very nice design and execution April; glad to see you recovering. Take care and be well. Thanks for your efforts. Best Regards in the new year.
Just about perfect timing. We're going to be moving soon, and I will definitely keep this in mind for when we do.
I want to build one of those for my shop tools with the big drawers from top to bottom. Thanks for the awesome idea, April!!!!!
Very nice April. I really like what you did for the cans great idea
The stackable washer and drier next to that cabinet allows for good utilization of space. It almost looks boatlike efficiency.
It isn't my preferred way of storing them but it's the only way to have a pantry in the house so it works. : )
This is a great project and gave me ideas for what I'd like to build. One change I'd make is the wine drawers from the top to the bottom as it's warmer up top. Thanks for all the yt vids. Great ideas every one of them!
Not super fancy, but incredibly functional. Well done!
You've hit it outta the park again April! Nice work. I'm going to use your idea to build one half that width to fit alongside my freezer and a full width one for our pantry. Thank you for your awesomeness!
I love your spray paint shelf!
Really nice. It looked really great in the laundry area.
I do not speak English but I short and admire your videos and work here in Brazil...
: ) Thank you
Great job April!
Great build, April!
You are like a real life Wonder Woman. I love how customized, functional, and stylish it is all at the same time.
Very well done! Love how much thought obviously went into this before building to make sure it fit what you needed perfectly in the end. It looks great with the white paint!
I was feeling too lazy to paint my living room last week and your videos inspired me! Yay! Another Fort Worth lady!
; ) Glad to hear it, you'll be happy once you're done I bet. A new coat of paint does wonders for a room.
It took forever but I finished. It looks amazing! Thanks for the encouragement!
Great job and great video. Now get some cork adhesive rolls to line the inside of those drawers to keep sliding down. It'll make them look cleaner too.
Great build Miss Wilkerson! Just a pro tip: wine bottles should be stored on an angle so when laid down the wine doesn't touch the bottle cap.
Hi April, It is so nice to see that you are as good a painter as me. I have been painting the doors in my house and I too ended up with paint all over my arms, I don't remember touching anything with my arms but still paint got on them. Love your video, and I hope you have a great new year to come.
What a great project , i love the can roller.
Awesome job April!
nice build. simple yet functional.
Sweet! My next project is my kitchen - lots of good ideas in this video!
Cool project. Really like the can holder. That was a stroke of genius!
Fantastic Job April....
Very nice project and came out wonderfully.
all i have to say is wow! i just found your channel and was amazed at all these side projects. keep up the great work. side note, im sure you have haters on here. so the way i see that is, if you have haters. it means your doing something right. can't wait for next video.
Thanks for the video, April. I've been mulling over pantry designs for my mudroom for a while, so this definitely helps give me more ideas.
Really Crisp, Well done.
turned out great looks like it will come in very handy
Done did. I clicked on the link and hopefully you get credit for it. I love your videos. I am in the process of building out a new kitchen and thinking about doing all the cabinets myself since the price I got for a custom cabinets was more than the cost of my car. Of course, I have a 1993 Honda accord. So, almost everything is more expensive than my car.
Great pantry idea!! I need to make one but it will be in the kitchen so it will have doors. Otherwise I will use the same basic layout you used. Thank You for the ideas since I am just in the pre-planning stages of my own pantry.
Looks great! We are working on some storage for our garage/shop and might look to do something similar for pint storage. Cheers
Great work, thanks for taking the time and sharing!!!
That's awesome April. Good work. Definitely building this. Might modify it to use it in my garage for tool storage.
Only April would climb inside the cabinet to put it together :). Love the can dispenser.
; ) I do what I need to do.
Great work April
Well done April, made great use of that odd space.
Nice job April!
Wow! I love your wood work.
April- Once again... great project and an excellent job with the video... I love all the different projects you come up with, keep up the great job !!!
Nice project. Very useful item and explained the build very well.
Very nice done April.
great idea, I can easealy see this as a free standing pantry in my kitchen , or as a part of a modular pantry system and with a few modifications it can be a fantastic shop storage station. thanks for the insightful ideas and please keep them coming.
