My pain was still out of control. I was getting suicidal. Then Illinois legalize medical cannabis a few years back the difference instantaneous. and incredible.I am now off all meds, and my pain is controlled by medical canabis. It's a Godsend......

I fast, I break a good sweat, nice hot shower or bath with epson salt, flush out those fat cells n reset the metabolism. After a day or two tops, my tolerance seems to reboot just enough. It’s definitely a “bro science” but it’s effective for me

At age thirty-three that is pretty good. Chemotherapy and radiation post brain surgery simply give me a better chance of survival without any permanent or major side effects. I'll give you the short story. I have had epilepsy since 2006 due to a traumatic brain injury I had resulting from a fall off of my skateboard. Roughly two and a half years ago my seizures started to become more intense and vastly more often. Typically my body would get used to the anti-epileptic medication every two years or so and a breakthrough seizure would occur. Then two and a half years ago they started happening every two months and they were really bad, like kidney failure bad. Anyway, finally we get an MRI done and we discover the tumor. The tumor was increasing the intracranial pressure and pushing on the already damaged part of my brain in both temporal lobes, therefore causing the seizures. Since the biopsy procedure is just as traumatic as removing the whole thing, they went ahead a removed the tumor. Upon study and genetic analysis they found out what the damned thing was. long story short I am more than likely one of like three people on the globe that have this particular type of brain cancer (completely made that stat up, but trust me it's rare). My medical team at MUSC said that both radiation treatment and chemotherapy would drastically reduce the chance of the cancer growing again. So I'd say I've only known about it for around two years. sorry about the long read dude

Hey edibles and vaping weed honestly does help with many different factors. I work in lawn care and swinging a 8 pound industrial weed eater all day takes a toll on you after 9 hours a day 6 days a week. Other people go out and drink on the weekends then feel like shit when they come back the following Monday. If I eat an edible my body loosens up. Any tight muscles get relaxed away and it feels like I'm fresher the following day from being in such a relaxed state for a few hours. Works wonders for me

I smoked traditional for 18 years and quit for 9 years so on my 40th birthday I took a bong rip type it off of a medical-grade vape out of Michigan while I was drinking eagle rare bourbon and I fully agree with sturgill I instant knew I fucked up but after a few good pukes and a hour or so later I could walk again.
One time I accidently overdosed on edibles when i went on vacation and my bestfriend and our girlfriends, but my bestfriend told me no weed on the trip cause i carpooled in his car so i couldn't even hide weed or he'd smell it after a while, so i did the second best thing and brought 150 dollars worth of wax gummy bears (about 9 gummies) a couple hours before we left. The second morning we were on vacation i woke up around 7 and decided to just get a little high to start the day and eat 3 gummies with a beer. Meanwhile i usually only eat like 2 weed brownies and i'm good for a few hours. So i just thought since gummy bears were smaller i'd eat a little more than i would a brownie. So after about an hour and a half i'm worrying my dude gave me some bullshit and i payed all that money. I felt a little high after about 2 hours and i thought it wouldn't be good enough to get me through the day so took 3 more. Right after i took them my bestfriend walks in and tell me to get dressed and we're leaving to go to a waterfall. All i'm thinking is holy fuck, what if these edibles are actually the real and it's not kicking in yet. (I thought about throwing that shit up but it was probably too late so i said fuck it). We all got in our cars and went. As soon as we get to the lot by the waterfall i'm trying to get out of the car and this is where i know i'm fucked. I thought the car was a fishbowl and thought i was going to drown. I held my breathe until my girldfriend opened my door for me and i flopped out of the car. Then a bunch of weird shit kept going through my head like the car sound when you lock it was a bird and then i could hear the water and thiught i was walking in water. My girlfriend helped me out and walked me almost the whole time and the more we hiked to see this dumbass waterfall, the more high i got. Eventually we got to the place and my bestfriend wants to do some dumb shit and look over the waterfall while me and our other friends hold his legs for a picture I can say i have never felt so scared in my entire life that i can actually kill my friend cause i was high and didnt want to tell him. So i layed down on my stomach and held on to his legs for life just so he can get a picture. Long story short he made me climb a tree and i climbed up about 12 feet and dropped straight to my back and he looked down at me and told me he knew i was high the whole time and just wanted to fuck with me while i was in fucking pain. As soon i caught my breathe i got in the car and tried not to be high anymore. That was the story of how i'm two months sober :)
Bongs are awesome! Also you need to do yourself a favor and get a Gandalf pipe. Its a handpipe that has a 9-13 inch long mouth piece and it cools the smoke so you get easy smooth hits.

Hey some honest advice. I smoke 3 grams a day of flower, but my buddy smoking 1gram of dabs needed real help. He went to a halfway house. You stop getting high, you will eventually need to dab just to endure the horror of consuming food. You will have the normal appetite of a chemo patient. Your tolerance is skyrocketing, just like the withdrawal symptoms. Studies have been done on weed. Not dabs, internet searches will reveal to you that many are unhappy having gone into the deep zone of dabs and often feel "messed up" years after managing to quit.
My first dab, a friend shoved his bong in my mouth and told me to suck down a gram. It gave me the weirdest feeling of nostalgia for my uncle when I was a kid

I had that same surgery!! You couldn’t tell from looking but I had a deviated septum, so they straightened that out and cleared my sinuses. For about a week I felt like my nostrils were the size of a tunnel, and like I was breathing in a walk-in cooler. Very wide open, and cold air. Sinus Headaches are rarer since then, and now, 20 years later, no more of those issues but my sinuses are often clogged, but they say it’s just seasonal allergies. It even changed my voice, and took away some of the nasally stuff. Then two months later they did the vocal polyp surgery and that cleared up my voice even more. Incredible. The only two times I’ve ever been to the hospital (for myself) and it was into the place first thing in the morning, then out that afternoon.

Hey edibles and vaping weed honestly does help with many different factors. I work in lawn care and swinging a 8 pound industrial weed eater all day takes a toll on you after 9 hours a day 6 days a week. Other people go out and drink on the weekends then feel like shit when they come back the following Monday. If I eat an edible my body loosens up. Any tight muscles get relaxed away and it feels like I'm fresher the following day from being in such a relaxed state for a few hours. Works wonders for me

I smoked traditional for 18 years and quit for 9 years so on my 40th birthday I took a bong rip type it off of a medical-grade vape out of Michigan while I was drinking eagle rare bourbon and I fully agree with sturgill I instant knew I fucked up but after a few good pukes and a hour or so later I could walk again.

One time I accidently overdosed on edibles when i went on vacation and my bestfriend and our girlfriends, but my bestfriend told me no weed on the trip cause i carpooled in his car so i couldn't even hide weed or he'd smell it after a while, so i did the second best thing and brought 150 dollars worth of wax gummy bears (about 9 gummies) a couple hours before we left.
The second morning we were on vacation i woke up around 7 and decided to just get a little high to start the day and eat 3 gummies with a beer.
Meanwhile i usually only eat like 2 weed brownies and i'm good for a few hours.
So i just thought since gummy bears were smaller i'd eat a little more than i would a brownie.
So after about an hour and a half i'm worrying my dude gave me some bullshit and i payed all that money.
I felt a little high after about 2 hours and i thought it wouldn't be good enough to get me through the day so took 3 more.
Right after i took them my bestfriend walks in and tell me to get dressed and we're leaving to go to a waterfall.
All i'm thinking is holy fuck, what if these edibles are actually the real and it's not kicking in yet. (I thought about throwing that shit up but it was probably too late so i said fuck it).
We all got in our cars and went.
As soon as we get to the lot by the waterfall i'm trying to get out of the car and this is where i know i'm fucked.
I thought the car was a fishbowl and thought i was going to drown. I held my breathe until my girldfriend opened my door for me and i flopped out of the car.
Then a bunch of weird shit kept going through my head like the car sound when you lock it was a bird and then i could hear the water and thiught i was walking in water.
My girlfriend helped me out and walked me almost the whole time and the more we hiked to see this dumbass waterfall, the more high i got.
Eventually we got to the place and my bestfriend wants to do some dumb shit and look over the waterfall while me and our other friends hold his legs for a picture
I can say i have never felt so scared in my entire life that i can actually kill my friend cause i was high and didnt want to tell him.
So i layed down on my stomach and held on to his legs for life just so he can get a picture.
Long story short he made me climb a tree and i climbed up about 12 feet and dropped straight to my back and he looked down at me and told me he knew i was high the whole time and just wanted to fuck with me while i was in fucking pain.
As soon i caught my breathe i got in the car and tried not to be high anymore.
That was the story of how i'm two months sober :)

Hey some honest advice. I smoke 3 grams a day of flower, but my buddy smoking 1gram of dabs needed real help. He went to a halfway house. You stop getting high, you will eventually need to dab just to endure the horror of consuming food. You will have the normal appetite of a chemo patient. Your tolerance is skyrocketing, just like the withdrawal symptoms. Studies have been done on weed. Not dabs, internet searches will reveal to you that many are unhappy having gone into the deep zone of dabs and often feel "messed up" years after managing to quit.

I had that same surgery!! You couldn’t tell from looking but I had a deviated septum, so they straightened that out and cleared my sinuses. For about a week I felt like my nostrils were the size of a tunnel, and like I was breathing in a walk-in cooler. Very wide open, and cold air. Sinus Headaches are rarer since then, and now, 20 years later, no more of those issues but my sinuses are often clogged, but they say it’s just seasonal allergies. It even changed my voice, and took away some of the nasally stuff.
Then two months later they did the vocal polyp surgery and that cleared up my voice even more. Incredible. The only two times I’ve ever been to the hospital (for myself) and it was into the place first thing in the morning, then out that afternoon.
I never knew Sturgill Simpson lived in Utah, that's awesome lol!
