I subscribed to your channel and I'm glad I came across your video because I was thinking of purchasing this today and read a review about it on the site I was buying it from and it wasn't the best but that was just based off of two comments, but I really like this review and going forward with purchasing it, thanks again 😊
The Shark turbo tool is the best turbo tool I’ve ever used. It fits my Miele canister, which is also a fantastic cleanser - ultra high suction, quiet, and impressive build quality. This also means my Miele attachments fit the Shark as well, and Miele has a ton of unique attachments I can use on it.
As a pet mom who herself has fairly long hair, I get tired of hair getting tangled up in my vacuum bristles, so when I saw a commercial about this having "fins", I was intrigued. I started researching and stumbled on your video. You answered all my questions and then some! As a result, I'm saying YAY YAY and heading to my local retailer to buy one! Thanks so much! You've gained a new subscriber!
i just bought it. i have long hair and falls all over the place. i have 2 dogs n a cat. my hair would get tangled on the dysons. after owning a couple of dyson and getting broken because of my hair. i switch to shark vertex. i vacuum it was like i have never vacuum in a long time. the about of dirt n pet hair was crazy. my hair for the first didnt get tangled all in the basket. love it. now my mom wants to get one. i send her a video of my trash can she was surprised.
We are currently searching for a new vacuum. Thus was on the top of the list until I read some reviews (multiple) when people said this actually had too much suction! Too hard to pull back for a senior. Then there were the people who said the cord was actually it's Achilles heel the wire is so cheap that it frays and breaks quickly. These things have me leaning back toward the Apex version wonder what your thoughts are.
This is a brand new vacuum. We have used it almost everyday in our cleaning business for two weeks now. As of now my verdict is its a solid vacuum and I am happy with it. I dont think it has to much suction personally but for an elder it is true it might be a little hard to pull back. I could see that for sure👍 I haven’t had any issues with the cord thus far.
I just bought this vacuum from Bed Bath & Beyond. Always use your 20% off coupon. It’s also important to price match because they honor it. This vacuum is $479.99. I price matched it at Target and found it was $50 less. BB&B honored the price match plus the 20% off coupon you only pay $343. This is a huge savings on a great vacuum.❤️
Nice video. You have a nice personality. You went over the features, but you didn't seem to review its performance. How well does the machine work for you and would you say it beats out other vacuums on the market? You mentioned that you usually choose Dyson due to cord length. How does this stack up against the Dysons you've used?
Hello and thank you GpD79!! The vacuum is brand new to the market (1 month old) so we haven't used it a tremendous amount yet, but I can tell you the vacuum is incredibly powerful (suction and airflow) and performs well. Sometimes it feels like you are gonna suck up the carpet. I 100% recommend it and it's as good as any Dyson/premium vacuum out there.
I just got mine. I love the shark vacuums. This vacuum has a lot of suction and I have two cats and no hair got caught !!! Hair will get into first roller but you just pop it out with button and easy to clean. Hope it helps. I would recommend it
Cleaning with Confidence, I was wondering if you could please answer me on how the vertex is holding up? I got the apex and love it, but I only have a few days before I can take it back to swap for the newer one. (20 days left) I know it doesn’t have a bay to open and get rollers unclogged, but maybe you aren’t having that problem... I really like the lighted handle on the apex and the quality feel it seems to have over the vertex. Is the quality better on the apex? Did Shark try to cheapen the line? I don’t know because I haven’t seen the vertex it person. I’m just wondering how significant the suction power is and whether or not I needed to swap. Would love your advice since you’ve had more time to try it out. Please advise. Z Z
Hello Zachery it's super easy to get the roll out as demonstrated in my review. Quality is superb. That being said, I would say if you have the Apex and love it then just stick with that. Apex is a great vacuum as well!!
One thing I notice is that there is a significant gap between the working path of the vacuum and the wall. What is your most efficient way to clean the inch or two along the wall that the path does not reach? Do you turn and vacuum into the wall? It looks like the blue roller might almost reach it.
What is the name of that first attachment tool that looks like it's for stairs called? Also, does that tool come in the box, or do you have to purchase the upgrade with the extra pet cleaning tools to get it? Lastly, does that tool clean carpeted stairs pretty well?
They call that attachment a self-cleaning pet power brush. And yes ma'am it comes with the vacuum in the box. Yes it vacuum stairs pretty well. You can also use it on fabric sofas, etc.
Mine came in today and I watched this video to learn how to use it 😂 This is my first “real” vacuum so I’m not used to bells & whistles like powered lift away and having a sealed system
Do you own the apex? I'm curious as to if you can install the motor head part of the power fins onto the apex. Like if it'd just plug right into the apex stick.
I accidentally cleaned a few areas of my tv with it on. I have a lg c8 oled. I didn’t use any pressure, I used a microfiber but I’m nervous because I left the tv on even though it wasn’t hot n I literally turned it on a few mins before cleaning. Did I ruin my tv picture? Is there anyway what I did could cause dead pixel or any other picture issues?
The Vertex has been a great vacuum. We have been using it since it was released. My favorite feature is the anti-tangle. You can vacuum hair year around and never have to take scissors to the beater bar to cut the hair away.
I’ve been thinking of upgrading to an upright vacuum. I’ve been using a Shark Rocket Pet Pro for a few years. I’ll have to see if I can afford the extra $$$ for the vertex.
@@CleanWithConfidence Thanks. Does it have any problems giving you that deep-down-carpet clean feeling? Meaning, does the new fun setup get as much dirt and dust out of the carpet as conventional brush rolls do?
Hey brother I'm looking for an all-purpose disinfectant cleaner deodorizer that is safe on all surfaces wood tile etc? Is that like a unicorn 🦄? Love your videos as always it any suggestions
Glad you are enjoying the vids!! I don't have a recommendation for one single cleaner/disinfectant that is safe on every single surface. There are just too many surfaces.
So good to see another video from you! I've been wondering about you and hoping you were staying healthy. I'm afraid I did not outrun the COVID. I've been fighting it now for a week, but I will beat this! Thanks so much for your videos. They make me feel better and motivate me to do better with my home cleaning! Happy Halloween to you and God Bless You! :)
Hello Miss Leigh thanks for the comment!! Yes ma'am the channel continues on :) Sorry to hear you got Covid, Angelica and I have stayed in the clear thus far. We'll just pray the Lord will give you strength during your time of trial.
@@CleanWithConfidence I understand. One of your nits was the cord was not as long as the Dyson. Some people don't need a huge cord but if you do, just attach an extension cord and problem solved. Cheers, and thanks for the review. I have this model and it works wonderfully.
@@Smart-Alex Oh yea well of course. Only thing I don't like about an extension cord is it's just something extra you have to carry. Plus, there's no room to store it on the vacuum itself.
The canister is horrible. No one ever talks about how dog hair gets clogged after awhile and the way it is designed is for the hair to collect on the top with a narrow bottom. The release is on the bottom so all hair is trapped on top.
@@CleanWithConfidence So, the canister has a top and bottom opening? I could not find that anywhere in reviews or shark website. Thanks for answering!!
I purchased one 3 weeks ago. WOW! What a GREAT Vacuum. All the good reviews are correct. Blows away every other vacuum I have used....ever!
Yes sir and the anti hair tangle is so incredibly handy!!
Thank you for this very informative video ⭐️
Hey Miss Wendy good to hear from you again!! Happy to help :)

Thanks Amy! Go for it!!

How much does it weigh in Lift Away mode? (canister + motor etc.?)
Can you tell me the difference between model AZ2002 vs AZ1810. Any help would greatly appreciate!

Most vacuums that advertise to be a sealed system are, except for the current Dyson uprights.

Is this better than a Kirby vacuum like the Kirby Avalir 2?
I have never used the Kirby so I couldn’t answer that one.
yes.. I vacoomed with my Kirby and then vacoomed with the vertex.. the vertex did so much better
I like how the bottom isn't just plastic. It looks metal. I could be wrong. That's durability.
