I have a question, I had the opportunity to buy Mica powder when I was first beginning to tie-dye and I didn't know any better. I looked it up on the internet and they said I could absolutely use Mica powder to dye clothing. Now I can't find any good information on it! Is there any way to use mica powders to dye fabric? I've been looking on the internet and I haven't found anything that fits what I'm looking for. I want to dye a whole shirt. Can you help me with this? Otherwise I don't know what I'm going to do with this Mica powder.😢 I love your videos and I believe if anyone can help me you can.❤
Hi Karen, I honestly have never used Mica powder before. I looked it up and it seems like its for resin, epoxy, soap, and cosmetic crafts. I found one tutorial for fabric (ua-cam.com/video/uYzVPPgKdQ8/v-deo.html) but it seems like its more of covering the fabric with a binder and then the mica. Sorry I can't be more help! Mica powder seems like a fun thing to work with even if its not for traditional dyeing.
