Great information, thank you. I gave my tax professional a 1095A and 8962 and they failed to process the 8962. I just received a lengthy letter from the IRS requesting these forms. I will fill out and file the 8962 myself. Your webinar helped me to explain new HSA rules as it appears my tax professional is not current on these rules.

    question,
so in other words, in order to be exempt i should have just let my rent be passed due to the point so i would receive an Eviction Notice just so i have the Proof and then i can be eligible for Hardship Exemption!?
for me i had to pay my rent and thats something i cannot stop doing which is why i couldnt afford coverage for few months. nevertheless im still going to be penalized for Prioritizing my expenses giving my situation?! not fair...
any suggestions how i can avoid this penalty .
    thanks

My question for anyone: for line 26 on 8962- am I paying back to IRS whatever total amount is in Line 26? For example I have $400 in Line 26, so now am I paying back to IRS that amount ? I have nothing come up in line 27-29.

This guy thinks Obamacare is just like taxes, actually, it's just like forced subsidies from us to the powerful insurance industry. You HAVE TO buy insurance. Marketplace is full of underqualified don't-give-a-shit civil servants who guess about everything and if they are wrong, you pay big time, because there is no accountability. You get screwed but insurance companies get lots of money, and nonetheless, they keep raising their rates because they are greedy as hell. Simplified, you are only here to make sure big corporations make lots of money off your labor, your medical care, your illnesses, your need for services and food, transportation, old age needs, college for your kids etc and if you are young, you can risk your life in wars so that corporations (who are extracting the riches of third world countries) can make money off your dead corpse.
