Thank you so much for this. I am native american, from St. Regis Reservation, America, and Canada. I had no idea there was a native quilt shop where I can order native fabric from. I hope to actually go to it someday in the future as we like to travel and camp. I love all you videos. Thank you for what you do!!!!
Lisa and Angela do an awesome job and i need more time to sew... love their shop
We were very impressed with the shop as well. I know she felt bad because they hadn't had a chance to restock their store when we arrived. Still we love it! Thanks for watching. :)
So happy you shared this Quilt Shop... it's not easy to find nice Native American yardage... this was very exciting!! Thank you 👏👏
You are very welcome! Thanks so much for watching!
Beautiful lady, thanks for showing us this shop. I really enjoy you showing us all these shops. You should take a class sometime.
We are working at a busy campground at this time. One or both of us may very well take up quilting in the off season. 😉 Thanks for watching!
Cool! It’s like eye candy to see the fabric, projects and regional styles. Thanks.
I hope you visit and video more quilt shops.
Thank you! Will do! That is our plan. We loved the unique fabrics offered at this store. Thanks for watching!
And loving your videos keep up the good work. Your quilting shop videos are great
Thank you! Will do! We will have a new quilting related video for you each weekend. :) Thanks for watching!
It great that her shoppe is so popular and customer frequented. I love it.
I think so too! Thanks for watching!
My eldest paternal uncle settled north of Browning in the early 1940s. It was always an adventure to head up to his ranch for a visit. Always a road trip through Glacier Park was included if there was time. I'm glad to see this shop featured. Very nicely organized and I appreciate that they feature local crafts on consignment.
Very cool story about your history with the area. Thanks for sharing. Also, thanks so much for watching. :)
This shop is a find!!! Love!!
My first grassroots video. I loved it! Fabulous shop and I love the feather block. I'm a long way away though: United Kingdom, Wales
Welcome to our channel! We love to make new friends from across 'the pond' This shop was one of our favorites. :) Thanks for watching!
Another wonderful video. This shop is very unique. Shalane I hope you take a class and learn so sew something small like a pot holder or table runner. Thanks for the video
I’ve sewn a little in the past but have never made a quilt. Our setup is too small right now to pick up this hobby, but we’ve decided that when we do get a bigger rig, we’re going to try our hand at some small quilting projects. Dean and I both love filming these quilt shop tours.
I watched this video than promptly went and purchased some fabric off the website! Looking especially forward to the Sweetgrass Braids and Fancy Shawl dancers yardage to arrive! Thank you/Miigwetch for showcasing this store ❤
Wonderful! We really loved that shop! Such a beautiful shop in a beautiful area. :)
What a great shop! Wish I lived close enough to take the star quilt class😍
Me too!! I would love to go just for the fellowshipping. :) Thanks for watching!

Hi guys! Truly you make people shine on camera. I and most children have grown up playing "Indians and cowboys" Through comics, movies and television we have taken in this exciting culture. I am especially fascinated by the natives. Thanks again for a great experience. UGH!

I saw your visit to Missouri Star, now, another quilt store in Montana...time to jump into the quilting!! We camp, and I quilt, we stop at at least one quilt store every time!
One of us is planning to start quilting soon. :) Do you have any recommendations of quilt shops that we should look into visiting? We would love to hear them. Thanks for watching!
@@GrassRootsLiving where to start?! My personal favorite, of course, is my local shop, Sewing Concepts, on the historic Woodstock, Il. Square, where they filmed, Groundhog Day! They also have a second shop in Carpentersville, Il.
Linda and Dwayne are the owners, she and her sister Annie, are The Hoopsisters! Look it up!
If we find ourselves in northern Illinois, we will look it up! Thanks!

Hi from Memphis, Tn. Your shop is lovely
Thank you so much!
Do more of these. And show more of the fabric, please. I was curious about the prints she had, even if they were low in stock
Thanks so much for the suggestion. Yes, we plan to make this a frequent part of our channel. Thanks for watching!
I have been looking for western fabric and its so hard to find, that I am considering opening my own quilt shop!
The western and Native American fabrics that she had was great! Let us know if you do, we might be able to do a tour of your new shop. :) Thanks for watching!
Wonderful video. Thank you for sharing your culture and shop with us. How much is your consignment fee? Is that available on your website?
This is Dean from Grassroots Living. We only made a video of the store to share with others. You will need to contact Lisa directly to get the information on the consignment. We did include the contact information for Native Life Quilt Shop in the description under the video. Thanks so much for watching!
I would love to see some beadwork.
Next time we go to a shop like this, we will try to remember your suggestion. :) Thanks for watching!
I live in western n.c. Next to Cherokee. Y’all should come visit the great smoky mountains and Cherokee! Where is your home base?
Our home base is near Kansas City. I used to live in Andrews, NC. I know Cherokee well. 🙂 We will be staying in Statesville, NC for about 6 weeks starting in late October. Hopefully we make it up there. 🙂
I know Andrews! Cheralaluh skyway...Joyce Kilmer Park...
I lived in bryson city 9 years ago and needed up in Franklin 4.5 years ago, because it’s all I could afford. This area is changing so much and has boomed with houses selling overnight with bidding wars. It’s sad. Oh well, I digress. Small world.
Glad I found your channel! Love it
What is the website again please
Hello! how would I go about getting a panel of your native Americans, I saw on your video?
In the description below the video, you will find a link to the website and phone number. If you can’t find it, just comment back and I will find another way to get the info for you. Thanks for watching!
Come see us at ' reapwhatusew ' if you're in the WNC area.
I actually taught at Andrews High School in the later part of the 1980s. That is a beautiful area. We may have to find a way to get there in October. Thanks for the suggestion, please comment again as we get closer to that month.
Do you have a catalog you can send out
Contact their store at this number: (406) 338-7888 . The people at the shop should be able to answer your question. Thanks for watching!
Where are you located exactly?
They're at 414 Central Ave. West in Browning, MT. 😁
I’d like to get the buffalo panel, do you have a phone number?
If you see something you would like to order, simply call the store at (406) 338-7888 or go online to www.nativelifestore.com . Thanks for watching!
Hard to hear you the music is way too loud
Thanks for the feedback. We will look into the problem. 👍
I think you’ll only find the music to be louder in the intro. If you go into the actual video it is softer and only used to distract from the owner’s ringing cell phone.
