But I'm sure he isn't the only one with a video. He also sells starts as part of his nursery business. Didn't know they would be as easy as multiplying strawberries. Guess I really should have known that lol. As they do take over in the wild. Blackberries are my favorite. Especially preserves and jams. Make some homemade French bread 🥖 or biscuits, some wonderful salted butter and blackberry jam...just fantastic!!!
With blackberries, you could probably just dig up a piece of a root and plant it and it will grow. Where I am , Himalayan blackberries are the worst thug imaginable and impossible nearly to get rid of. I realize the cultivars are much better behaved, but I imagine they still will grow from a root cutting.
If you want a nice rich, clear pink like that in a perrenializing tulip, the Pink Impression darwin hybrid tulips look just like that. And they really come back stronger every year. (I have had some 4 years now, and they've gotten thicker and more flowers every year.)
Oh Laura, you really need to give yourself more credit! Laura: "I'm bad at remembering all the names of the plants." Continues to name about 600+ plants off the tops of her head :D! You're doing amazing!!

I live in Ontario, Canada, Southern Ontario, 6b) Laura has taught me so much about gardening, that I never knew, and I've been gardening for years. Everything she suggests, works. Love the video's, love the tips, envious of your space. We have an acre, and I find it a chore. 🌷
Oh Laura and Aaron! I'm so happy you two were able to purchase that property! Yes.... go for the horses! Looking towards the future, there is the possibility that either Benjamin or Samantha Grace (when they get married) may want to live close by and what a wonderful place where they could build a home! Thank you so much for the tours, both yesterday's and today's. You have come a long long way. And now the new addition of more property is so exciting. The possibilities are endless.
Massive congratulations on your new property 🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️ the condors were amazing 👌🏼 so sweet to leave momma duck to do her thing ❤ if you one day get a pond, methinks you will have your very own duck family moving in... this is a great sign 🤩
I am so impressed with the fact that you know the names of all of your plants! I plant stuff in my yard and immediately forget the names of what I plant. I enjoy watching your videos every morning and look forward to seeing what your future plans are for your home. Congratulations on aquiring your new property
I'm so happy for you guys, new property! I have no idea how you two manage all your property and projects. I do know your projects and gardening videos have made my retirement so nice and they inspire me to stay active in my own yard. Thank you Laura and Aaron.
Congratulations on the new property, Laura and Aaron! So happy for you! I'm definitely in favor of a barn and horses. I had a horse growing up, and I have such wonderful memories of riding and taking care of her. There's nothing more peaceful and beautiful than seeing horses grazing in a pasture. I'm sure whatever you decide to do with the property will be wonderful!
The new property is so awesome! The buzzards will air themselves in the morning. Sometimes our fence has one on each wood post, so daunting, but they do keep the dead things cleaned up. Condors are like 4x as big as buzzards. We have major ground squirrel pressure, have a neighbor who helps control them, so our neighborhood birds are fed well.
Congratulations on the new area! Don’t you just love UA-cam & the opportunity it provides. You get to have your dreams come true & we are supplied with so much fun & education on gardening plus. If you put in a pond you’ll have more ducks😊🐥🐣🦆
you should mirror the grass field of your "old" new property on the very new one.... you can already see the shape of it in the drone images😍😍😍😍 that would look soooo pretty on both sides of the "maple road"😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hi Laura, i am 72 years old and is still gardening! Your videos inspire me so much, and you and Aaron are such gentle souls! You inspire me to work my sisters garden and get her out of a deep depression. Cingrats on the new property..cant wait to see what will happen there. Wish i was younger to see all the trees mature! Love your videos, cant live without them. Greetings from South Africa
A while back when you mentioned possibly buying this property, I thought to myself "they're definitely buying it" and I'm glad you did. I feel like YEARS down the line, these 3 properties are going to be one of the "great gardens" garden enthusiast will put on their bucket list to see in person. That is, if you ever decide to open your garden up for visitors. I feel like you mentioned not wanting to do that a ton, but also wanting to something like that once or twice. Maybe I just heard what I wanted to hear. Either way, I'm crossing my fingers this space will be the start of Aaron's epic adventure into composting. I hear there are a few tractors accessories you can get to make turning compost on a big scale really easy and worth it.
Good morning, Laura, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA 🇺🇸 I am thrilled for you & Aaron 👍 Now the property looks complete and you have a great space between you and each neighbor. You guys are building a Dream! I'm applauding your success 💓 Happy Gardening Everyone 🌿💚🌿 PS Going to the mid 90's this week 😱
its SO HOT in Florida...I am here too....trying to get everything out of pots...did you happen to hear what she is putting in the holes for the dahlias? I am planting mine in 9a in the fall.....thank you
@@blissbliss3531 Hi Bliss, Laura predrilled the holes and put in a handful of Espoma fertilizer in each. I'm not sure if she put in a little compost, as well, but it won't hurt. Good luck with your Dahlias. Where in 9a do you call home?
Such good news!!!!! So excited for you guys!!! Love that you will have a certain amount of privacy around your garden on this side. So many possibilities. God is good. Hugs from N.C..❤️
Wildlife biologist here...condors aren't currently found up in Idaho / Eastern Oregon, so you probably saw a flock of Turkey vultures (although condors ARE also vultures and they do look very similar). They are scavengers and only eat dead things, so no need to worry about your chickens! They spread their wings like that to soak up the sun and warm up, it energizes them, can help them digest their food, and the UV rays also kill any bacteria or parasites they may have picked up while eating their last meal. They are amazing birds!
TREMENDOUS news that y'all acquired more property! You're both doing such a masterful desig of your place, it is a true joy to see the tour. Just AWESOME!!! Congratulations on a great job, Laura & Aaron! Thank you for including us in your project & joy. ☺
This is the best kind of video to watch on my birthday!! Thank you Laura and Aaron for helping my year to be filled with beautiful things, and everything gardening related!! I found your channel in 2019 I was looking for succulent care tips at first. Through watching your channel I have branched into landscaping the front of our house during 2020, I have a cut flower and vegetable plot of land as well filled with many wonderful things. I have started so many seeds and been able to give plants, flowers and veggies away that I have grown. Seeing the appreciation and smiles that sharing items from my garden brings is such a great joy of mine now. Thank you for the inspiration, joy and lessons that Garden Answer provides! God bless, and Happy Monday!
Kudos to you for getting that property before a developer did! Great neighbors you have! Hopefully you will inspire others with the means to do the same!
Everything is looking lovely. Looks to be another intersting year to unfold. So many exciting things going on in your garden. Love your videos , inspires and pushes me to do more in my own flower beds and garden area. And Aaron's trees are fantastic! Makes a person take notice of their own space and what more they could do for it. Thank you for that. Congrats on the new piece of land. Hopeful Aaron will do a video on the steps of the compost area if he decides to do one. Would be interesting and helpful information for sure. Thanks for the tour, so lovely to get to see how things are doing. Inquiring minds and all that, lol. Feel very blessed to have found your vlog. 🌷🌲💜

It feels like a close friend/family member is telling me about their blessings. I’m super happy for your lives unfolding the way it has. You are truly blessed people because of how you bless others.
I’m with ya, I thought the prettiest part was the weeds that was providing for the wildlife. Poor mama duck needs cover with all the invasive cats on that property.
Woohoo!! A like button isn't enough to express how happy this video makes me! A continuation of a the long awaited tour AND an exciting expansion 🥳 so happy and excited for the future things still to come!
woooooow! cant wait to see what evolves in the new property! Always love watching these tour videos and seeing how much things are growing year to year. Its all so gorgeous. I get SO MUCH inspiration from you and your videos.
The most amazing thing about you and your videos is that you guys don't have nine to five jobs. You can actually wake up every day and have the resourses and finances to stay home with your husband and kids and cats and build a super expensive, super huge, garden compound with unlimited funds. Man, its good to be QUEEN. I'll keep watching as I enjoy watching wealthy folks do fun things. I also enjoy when you show other people out there with equipment, shoveling, building, doing pavers, planting giant trees, etc.
Laura, you are so amazing with the names of your plantings. Now we know what to get from our nursery. You guys are so busy working your property and have such cool planted groups.
Thank you for sharing your gardening knowledge and skills and doing what you do Laura and Aaron. I’ve been a fan of Garden Answer way back when you guys had a dog, and before Benjamin and Samantha Grace were born. I’m always watching for the cats to add their own bits of entertainment. ^*^ I’ve created an orchard, several perennial gardens, raised beds for vegetables and this year I’m trying to grow dahlias and ranunculus for the first time. A game changer was composting and amending the clay soil with cardboard. I love that you are trying this in your new flowerbed. Seriously, the payoff is golden. The soil will surprise you at how well it responds to cardboard. And It’s a no-brainer to give the cardboard back to the soil. You give so many tips to us, and I will share one of mine. I have a designated area behind a shed, where I place cardboard that I save. Cardboard begins to break down being outside in the elements and it’s easier to place around existing plants after it’s had time to weather a bit and becomes pliable. I try to always have a stash on hand for newly created beds that are now popping up all over the yard. Thank you for your inspiration. I’m excited to see what will be added to the “newer new” property. Congratulations. This is exciting.
You may actually be eligible for a property tax credit if you use part of the newest property to re-establish native habitat. More and more states are moving to this to encourage native planting that typically require less water, pesticides, and fertilizers and support native wildlife.

Wow! You got the property, congratulations! Not to burst your bubble but I think the birds you saw are turkey vultures. They are very large also; their wingspan can reach 5 feet. Condors are only found on the California coastline in the USA. Vultures will spread their wings like that to sunbathe or appear threatening.
Ohhhhh, what exciting news ... I'm SO happy you secured that property! Building a green Empire! Pink tulips are my FAVORITE! I live in Ontario Canada and we've had a slow start to May where it's been unusually cold for May, even for April. Our "heat" started last week which was way above our normal May temperature and it seemed that our tulips suddenly came up AND ended almost at the same time! We're either getting below or above normal seasonal temperatures this year. We've never seen this variation before. Gosh those pink tulips are GORGEOUS! Are you, Aaron and the kiddoes hugging your new trees every day? You have SUCH BEAUTIFUL gardens. I so appreciate your tours - thank you!
I think Lora and Aaron should know that their garden channel is a huge inspiration not only to me but right across the world. I have always watched this channel well and truly before my horticultural course when I was in high school I used to watch this channel. When I went to do my horticultural course the teachers used to look up garden answer for certain plants that we had to learn about and one of them was sweet alyssum and used to be so excited to be watching this because of being with people with common interests that I had . They don’t know how much they’re an inspiration to us, because when I went to TAFE to do my course the amount of people here in my horticultural class course that knew of this garden channel here where I live in Australia here was amazing. Great work you guys I really love what you do and that has inspired me through tough times when my nana passed away to grow things in my own garden to bring me out of my pain. because of what I saw in your garden that I have seen from your side of the world I have been inspired to try out and learn more . I will give you an example you have inspired me to grow annual gardens every year the one I am doing at the moment is for spring and I have planted hundreds of pansies and 300 tulip bulbs I have completed planting them and I am waiting for them to grow in spring which over hear is in August others things for my annual garden for spring is rannaculas. the spring garden I did of 2020 lifted my soul because that’s the year my nana passed and that had rannaculas and tulips on that year in spring. But Other plants such as roses for example I have trying to look for and I have found the one , which garden answer showed was the boscabel rose I loved the colour and I am looking forward to receiving it because I am about to buy it online here in Australia So I look forward to more videos and plans in your gardens Happy planting. Kind regards Isaak Duncan.

The planet needs more trees Laura - how about planting your own "mini" forest? Encouraging more wildlife - kids will love it!
If you want a nice rich, clear pink like that in a perrenializing tulip, the Pink Impression darwin hybrid tulips look just like that. And they really come back stronger every year. (I have had some 4 years now, and they've gotten thicker and more flowers every year.)
I was going through the Catalog for fall ,and it caught my eye, I put a check mark beside it ,thanks for the affirmation
Ty for the info ❤️
Thank you ! Will be looking for them!!!
Oh Laura, you really need to give yourself more credit! Laura: "I'm bad at remembering all the names of the plants." Continues to name about 600+ plants off the tops of her head :D! You're doing amazing!!
I was so giddy when seeing this video in my subscrptions! I jumped out of bed, made a cup of coffee, and snuggled back in bed to enjoy your lovely garden tour. I have been a long time viewer (and superfan) of Garden Answer. I feel so happy and proud for Laura and Aaron. I remember seeing the South Garden at the very begining and thinking that is so much empty space and work, but seeing the wonderful oasis it has become in such a short amount of time is so inspiring and motivational!
I’ve been itching to see a tour for so long, what a treat to have two long videos showcasing all the new developments! I can’t wait to see how everything comes together ❤️
Congratulations on your new property l! I haven’t been so consistent due to some health issues. But can anyone help me understand, is the new property the one that her neighbors used it as soccer field ?
Congratulations on finally getting the new property! You guys work so hard and deserve it! So many possibilities! I know your neighbors are happy it belongs to you guys🥰💕
Congratulations on the new purchase!! If ever you opened your garden to tours, I would totally fly across the country to see it! I’ve been watching your videos since you were still in the town house. It would be incredible to meet y’all and walk the garden I’ve been fortunate enough to watch come to life! Thank you for all you do!
My day was better yesterday knowing this was coming!! Been looking forward to this!!😁
Please, please, please put in more pallet walkways! They are so charming. Congratulations on finalizing the new property. I feel so invested in how your garden grows. Thank you for sharing with us. I feel so inspired.
Good Morning Laura & Gardening Friends!!! Whoa!!!! What a blessing!!!! Your land is definitely expanding. So many possibilities!!!!!!! Let the dream building continue. 🍃🙂
Laura I love you and your channel has always helped me through the years to overcome depression. Your family and your garden are a blessing. Thank you ❤️
blessings and hugs from england
Congrats on the new property! You'll need a new name for this section too. Also, did you inherit a new kitty along with the property? What a cutie!
I saw that too and wondered if it was Douglas. At least I think that’s what they call him.
@@heatherw.2751 Douglas is white and brown, not orange and white. This has to be a new one we haven’t seen before ☺️
@@amberj1472 yay!! More cute kitties to look for in their beautiful garden!
Oh field of dreams. Congratulations on the new property. Laura you and Aaron have such vision it’s an absolute privilege to be allowed to watch you both not only fulfil your dream but to do it in a manner of such appreciation, joy and grace is so inspirational and generous with both your time and knowledge. Is there an award for most inspirational gardener? Because we should all vote for Laura xxx love to all xxxx
I live in Ontario, Canada, Southern Ontario, 6b) Laura has taught me so much about gardening, that I never knew, and I've been gardening for years. Everything she suggests, works. Love the video's, love the tips, envious of your space. We have an acre, and I find it a chore. 🌷
New property looks perfect for horses!
Oh Laura and Aaron! I'm so happy you two were able to purchase that property! Yes.... go for the horses! Looking towards the future, there is the possibility that either Benjamin or Samantha Grace (when they get married) may want to live close by and what a wonderful place where they could build a home! Don't laugh because time flies by!!!
Thank you so much for the tours, both yesterday's and today's. You have come a long long way. And now the new addition of more property is so exciting. The possibilities are endless.
Hi Marianne, how are you doing??
Massive congratulations on your new property 🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️ the condors were amazing 👌🏼 so sweet to leave momma duck to do her thing ❤ if you one day get a pond, methinks you will have your very own duck family moving in... this is a great sign 🤩
Not with those cats around!
That new house build, when homeowners move in are going to have a double whammy landscape with the borrowed view from your cut garden! Nice!
Me too! Now if only my knees and hips would cooperate 🤔
I know black vultures will spread their wings to warm themselves. They harness thermal energy. Haha
Congratulations on the new area! Don’t you just love UA-cam & the opportunity it provides. You get to have your dreams come true & we are supplied with so much fun & education on gardening plus. If you put in a pond you’ll have more ducks😊🐥🐣🦆
Well said. Agree 💯☺️
you should mirror the grass field of your "old" new property on the very new one.... you can already see the shape of it in the drone images😍😍😍😍 that would look soooo pretty on both sides of the "maple road"😍😍😍😍😍😍
I see the new property came with a new kitty 🐱😆 Congratulations Laura & Aaron. This is really exciting news!
You say plant identification is your weakness?! Never!! You are the Plant Wizard!!! Congratulations on the addition to your property!
Congratulations on the new property. Can't wait to see how this piece will be developed.
I commented WAY too early. Lol
Buying up all the property that probably originally belonged to your house back in the day. Congratulations. So happy for you guys.
Good morning, Laura,
from Windermere, Florida
zone 9b USA 🇺🇸
I am thrilled for you & Aaron 👍
Now the property looks complete and you have a great space between you and each neighbor.
You guys are building a Dream!
I'm applauding your success 💓
Happy Gardening Everyone 🌿💚🌿
PS Going to the mid 90's this week 😱
its SO HOT in Florida...I am here too....trying to get everything out of pots...did you happen to hear what she is putting in the holes for the dahlias? I am planting mine in 9a in the fall.....thank you
@@blissbliss3531 Hi Bliss, Laura predrilled the holes and put in a handful of Espoma fertilizer in each.
I'm not sure if she put in a little compost, as well, but it won't hurt.
Good luck with your Dahlias. Where in 9a do you call home?
CONGRATULATIONS on the new property , how much fun will that space be . Can't wait to see how you use the space .
Love the look of the light colored mulch in the paths. And congrats of adding the new property and YES! To composting.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The random cat rolling in the dirt 😂😂 i love them
TREMENDOUS news that y'all acquired more property! You're both doing such a masterful desig of your place, it is a true joy to see the tour. Just AWESOME!!! Congratulations on a great job, Laura & Aaron!
Thank you for including us in your project & joy. ☺
When you realise how lucky you are to see a wonderful garden just at the very beginning of it’s existence ❤️
Hahaha appears to be a good area for new kitties to follow you around! lol- good morning GA!! 😊♥️
Omg how exciting you can have a mini hobby farm on the new property!
Happy Birthday!
I got soooo happy when you said “we just signed the paperwork on the new land.” I get so so happy for you guys when good things come to you. It feels like a close friend/family member is telling me about their blessings. I’m super happy for your lives unfolding the way it has. You are truly blessed people because of how you bless others.
41:54 perfect 🤩 place for a pond! Love the tours! Great inspo for all journeys through the garden realm.
How about a wildflower meadow instead of a wasteful lawn for the new property for the meantime? The wildlife will love it 🌸
I’m with ya, I thought the prettiest part was the weeds that was providing for the wildlife. Poor mama duck needs cover with all the invasive cats on that property.
Woohoo!! A like button isn't enough to express how happy this video makes me! A continuation of a the long awaited tour AND an exciting expansion 🥳 so happy and excited for the future things still to come!
Dear Laura and Aaron, You guys are teaching, and inspiring us so much that
together we are beautifying our country one tree at a time. Thank you!
woooooow! cant wait to see what evolves in the new property! Always love watching these tour videos and seeing how much things are growing year to year. Its all so gorgeous. I get SO MUCH inspiration from you and your videos.
Aaron is a grass guru. The grass is beautiful throughout the property
Pumpkins patch favorite place in fall & trees behind another thing she loves & congrats love see someone who shares so much get a bonus 👍🙌💯
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎈🍾
Congratulations on the land! WOW! You've really done A LOT of work since acquiring that South Garden.
Who’s the white kitty taking a dirt bath behind you? 😹Looks like he likes your new property too! 😹 Congratulations! 💜
Wildflower garden. On the edges with trails. Then do what you want in the center pumpkins, compost, orchard, parking.
Your garden is just gorgeous this season, as always. I can’t wait to see you put together a flower arrangement with all the beautiful spring blooms!!!
You may actually be eligible for a property tax credit if you use part of the newest property to re-establish native habitat. More and more states are moving to this to encourage native planting that typically require less water, pesticides, and fertilizers and support native wildlife.
Oh my goodness😍 Congratulations😍i'm so happy for you guys,it means more land more planting & projects in the near future..so exciting
So happy for you & Aaron 😊 it is wonderful to see good things happening to such good people. You both have worked so hard, been so consistent and so true to your values- your blessings are earned and well deserved 😇🌸🌿. While you are both gifted, you have both stretched & developed your abilities to benefit all of us in such positive ways🌟 By expanding your land, you will never run out of content and we can look forward to you being a beacon in our lives for years to come. No two people have had more impact on home gardening 🌻💡🌾🐈. Without doubt, your videos are the highest quality produced in every aspect. Best of all, you teach and motivate us to bring care and beauty to our lives and surroundings. I know I am part of a growing majority that are infinitely grateful ❣️
Hi, how are you doing Barbara??
Congratulations on the new property! Let your imagination go on this one. Loving all the new plantings. Can not wait to see how it all blooms out this summer. Your extended rooms keep on growing bigger and better.
All I can say is WOW! Your property is beautiful now with all the plants and trees . In a couple of years it will be absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations on obtaining the new property. Whatever you use it for I know you will make it look amazing .
Congratulations on your new land! 🎉🎊 The pink tulips are gorgeous and so big. I love the pink color, really stands out.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Congrats on the new property! Wow something else to look forward to! Thanks for the garden tour Laura, it's beautiful! In a world where things can be ugly and hard Garden Answer is our beacon of beauty 🤗❤🌻
They spread their wings to dry their feathers and/or thermoregulation. Love love your videos and gardens. We just got an acre and my oh my do I have a blank slate!
Awww…Cheddar! He always has to make a cameo! Idea for the new land: build a small cottage near the woods and make it into a wedding venue! 😀
Wow! You got the property, congratulations! Not to burst your bubble but I think the birds you saw are turkey vultures. They are very large also; their wingspan can reach 5 feet. Condors are only found on the California coastline in the USA. Vultures will spread their wings like that to sunbathe or appear threatening.
I could be wrong, but I think condors are endangered, too?
So happy for you guys two vids in a row - trees, then land. Congrats!
Wow! Congratulations on your new property🌄
Congratulations guys…how fun. On a side note…has Laura acquired another cat as well as a new block?..🤣🥰🇦🇺
So happy for you on finalizing the other property. And as usual, your gardens are looking fantastic. Thanks again for all the video's and welcoming us into your life. LOVE LOVE LOVE all the beauty!
Loving the south garden tulips!! In the old days a neighborhood granny would place fake tulips much like yours in her front yard. Bless her.
This is so exciting! You guys amaze me and I am so glad you are sharing your knowledge and experience with us. Aaron! Your grass looks fabulous! And your mowing job is on point, love the lines! And how exciting for you both to get the adjacent property. I would suggest Nigerian Dwarf Goats, we breed them and they make great barnyard pets for children and they can eat your garden trimmings, and in return they give you free fertilizer lol Congrats to your new adventure!
Ahh, the tulips..beautiful. Spaced perfectly for the future 🌷
