The original game has a solo mode which in my opinion was just as good. Bottom line for me is the original version can play solo, it can play two, it can play up to 5. This version might have fancy pieces and board but in the end can only play 1 or 2. I am keeping World and will be culling kingdom.

I agree and i really dislike the new drafting method and the negative cards. In the few plays i have had with kingdom the person with the negative cards is so crippled they really can't come back. Also this adds another element of luck that really hurts the experience. It is hard enough to produce a strong city without those factors.

While the art is nice, I cannot get past how busy everything looks. The colors are all just too vibrant, which sounds like a stupid complaint, but when all the colors are bright then it just looks like there's too much going on. Colors should pop; they shouldn't fight with each other.

Some people are colorblind and they may have chosen the color palette based on this. *shrug* Nothing wrong with what you said, what you like, you like. I'm certainly guilty of this as well, hopefully they had reasons the colors were chosen.
