Krista you are such a breath of fresh air. After watching you I feel I can conquer it. You make my brain so happy with great directions. Thank you for sharing your talents.
Krista, I don’t know how I’ve missed your channel in the past, but I’m so glad to have found you now. I’ve subscribed! I’ve ordered your rulers and am getting ready to do some cutting & sewing with your great tutorials. Thank you!
You are so adorable! I love the itching blooper info. 😆 Your tutorials are always so informative and great. Thank you and I can’t wait to make this pattern.
@@kristamoser Lol…most definitely! I just need my large back scratcher to come in, I have the small one. It should be arriving next week. My plan is to use a colorful solid jelly roll with the black background. Very excited 😊
I'm working on another one Pat! It'll be out next week :) If you ever have an idea for a tutorial, please send me a note! I need all the ideas I can get!
@@kristamoser Bought a digital copy and it’s all printed off. Goodness knows I have enough fabric to make 100 of them ! Laugh Out Loud ! Have a great week !
@@kristamoser I made a quilt recently that said to NOT use this type of ruler (with the tip cut off) but I was unwilling to buy a whole new ruler for one quilt. So a slight bit of math and this one worked great!
@@ceasewatercolorarts I have heard that about the one block wonder quilts... but for the life of me I can not figure out why they insist on having a ruler with a tip!
Love this so much! Thanks for no ting the lap size is the one behind you. And the bright one! It’s amazing how different the two blocks made from the two strips look! Off to order my kit!
No no no... I must not make this quilt !!! But the voices in my head are telling me to. I was always told to do what I was told so I must comply 🤭🤭🤭 You are such a bad influence 😉
Hi Krista, I have just finished the Lap size quilt top with the kit that I bought from you and its looking good{even if I do say so myself}. I wanted to ask you please, what colour thread did you use to do your straight line quilting. Thank you so much.
I adore the bright version. Your video instructions are great but I wouldn't call this a beginner quilt. Too many angles for beginners. I'm game to try it though. Thanks sew much.
You are right! This is a beginner quilt for angles... there is a learning curve for everyone with angles, even those who are experienced quilters with squares and rectangles. This is a good place to start!
You probably could, but you would need to make more strip sets because I know you wouldn't get quite as many cuts from two fat quarter length strip sets as you would from a full length strip set.

This comment makes me smile Jamie!! I am so thrilled this was inspiring!
Ditto!
I completely agree!

Thank you Marla! I love that version, it was the first sample I made!
The primary colors are an unexpected KNOCK OUT!❤❤!!
Isn't that one awesome?! That was the first one I made actually... crazy how different each color way makes it look.

Yes they are! Even I am surprised by what they can do!!

Krista, What fabric line are the fabrics for the succulent kit from? I ask because there are some solid fabrics I prefer over others. Thank you.
These are all Kona solids. They are Robert Kaufman fabrics.
Do you shorten your stitch length when pressing open?
Yes I do! I typically use about 1.8 or 2.0 as my stitch length.
I adore the bright version. Your video instructions are great but I wouldn't call this a beginner quilt. Too many angles for beginners. I'm game to try it though. Thanks sew much.

Can you use fat quarters to cut the strips from?
You probably could, but you would need to make more strip sets because I know you wouldn't get quite as many cuts from two fat quarter length strip sets as you would from a full length strip set.
@@kristamoser Even if you beveled the ends and staggered the strips before sewing them into a strip set?
Thanks for the reply!
@@wasloan8202 I think that would be your best shot! If you have a 22" long strip you might just pull it off!
