Loved ABBA then & always🧡. No pop band has achieved their success & talent. To return after all this time with a beautiful album & concert is truly brilliant 💫💥❤❤❤
ABBA, YOU GIVE PEOPLE LOVE, WITH YOUR BEAUTIFUL MUSIC. IN THESE TIMES, THE WORLD IS IN NEED FOR YOUR ABBASOLUTE ABBALICIOUS SONGS. THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC ABBA 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I remember I bought this album in 1975. Wow many sweet memories are back flying in my mind. Thanks ABBA, I don't know why I'm so love with your music & songs....so suitably with my own music taste.
Ehem @4:15, rather revealing. 😊🥰 Agnetha and Benny are my favorites. Their friendship and collaboration, truly evident in their output. Kindred spirits.
Actually, the four of them made their first recording in 1970. It was in Swedish, "Hej Gamle Man", with Björn singing lead vocals, and with Agnetha, Anni-Frid and Benny singing the backing vocals. I do not understand Swedish at all, but I still l♥ve it. 🥰♫♪♪♪♥
Congratulations for the idea It's so good to listen the first and the last song together, to see and appreciate the evolution of ABBA and for all us to be eternal thankful to Agnetha Benny Björn A.Frida the Fab Four from Sweden
Oh Bridge have faith in ABBA ,I do ,maybe just maybe ode to freedom won't be their last song .they said they would never come back ,then Benny and Bjorn wanted to create a concert of ABBA as avatars and make it as realistic as they could ,NO money spared, then they asked Agnetha and Annifrid if they would like to make 2 new songs for the concert ,they said YES, Benny then thought ,as they all loved being together ,why not do more songs ,in fact why don't we make a new album. And with that ABBA CAME BACK TO US .Then Benny said this would be the end ,it has to be ,but it would be up to the girls as well. Annifrid then said in her interview with Zoe ,about this being the end, don't be to sure I have learnt to say never say never so ........maybe just maybe Ode to freedom is not the last song and maybe just maybe VOYAGE is not ABBA's last album ,this is my dream. .
*with tears welled up in my eyes as l am typing this .,. I do hope it is not their last, but deep inside l know it is their grand farewell* *Huwaaaaaaaaa ...* *The dam bursts*
I always think of 'Hej Gamle Man' as the first ABBA song, because to my knowledge that is the first song to feature all ABBA members. But I also understand why one would choose 'People need love' as the first ABBA song, because it was on their first album with the four of them, and when they first used the name ABBA.
You are absolute right. Though the two first songs are different in many ways. Actually I was thinking to put both songs as the first one together along with Ode to freedom, but finally I decided I will do them in two separate video projects. Thank you for sharing your opinion 👍
@@Bridge1234 Hi again! It is not that I have a very strong opinion around this haha, it is just that 'Hej Gamle Man' always comes to mind first when I hear 'First ABBA song' but most often 'People need love' is meant ;)
If you're referring to the cabaret act they technically were before the pop act, that barely even got off the ground and doesn't count as ABBA. They had a few live shows. They didn't record anything. People Need Love is indeed the first time they recorded together.
@@terryc.3390 Hej Gamle Man is on 'Lycka' a B&B album, but A&A feature on some songs, of which Hej Gamle Man was the first single to feature all ABBA members.
"Hej gamle man '(1970) is a registered song for the duo "Björn & Benny" in which the girls collaborate in the choirs (Actually the four of them collaborated on everyone's projects, also for the songs and solo albums of Agnetha and Frida) It could be considered as the first song in which the four are together But it's not their song as a quartet "People need love" (1972) is also recorded as part of Agnetha & Frida's backing for the duo "Björn & Benny" but due to the favorable repercussion it had, they later recorded "He is your brother" which confirms the success of the quartet, which will lead them in 1973 to participate in Melodiefestivalen (the Swedish selection for Eurovision) with the song "Ring Ring" (and make their first album) That is why "People need love" remains as the first recording of the four together as a group, under the name: "Björn & Benny; Agnetha & Anni Frid" The ABBA name is only used for the recordings of "Waterloo" at the end of 1973, thinking of the new competition for Eurovision of 1974 And so it will be recorded in the credits of the single and album: ABBA (Björn Benny Agnetha Frida) Only in the album ABBA (1975) does the name of the exclusive group appear And for the next album "Arrival" (and the flagship single "Dancing Queen") the distinctive logo is used with the first inverted B and a small R intro indicating that ABBA is a registered trademark. One more piece of information that must be taken into account They all had contracts with different recording companies; Agnetha had it with CBS until 1975, that's why the legend appears on the album "ABBA": 'Agnetha Fältskog courtesy of CBS Records'
Yup. Benny actually said that if there's someone who could twist their hand into making new songs after this, it would be the ladies 👍😅😍❤️👍 And Bjorn himself, in a separate interview, said something similar to what Frida said, that never say never. Frida actually admitted that they're all old now, but she learnt to say never say never as you may never know. Even Agnetha, in a separate Swedish interview earlier, after hinting that Voyage might possibly be their last album, as they're all now old and have their own ailments, quickly asked the interviewer to scrape off the bit she said about being their last recording, after the interviewer actually said that the fans want more😍❤️👍 For me, I pray that all ABBA members stay healthy and remain enthusiastic to continue making new music. Love them forever and ever ❤️😍👍

or at least him us out by declaring intentions .it like abandonment ...please no ..please no
I have to go now; can't talk
Nu, no, no...it is not the last Abba song!
Hopefully you're right 😏🤞
People Need Love was released as Björn and Benny. Abba, the name, didn't exist until 1974.

Anni-Frid is the second oldest from the group, born in 1945. She is 76 (!) years old, sings like an angel and looks younger than her age. I think the grey hair actually can make someone older looking, but she is still beautiful 💗
It’s ok. We earn our wrinkles and grey hair. If we live, we age and we lose our looks. True beauty radiates from inside, and she’s got that in spades.
she is alol older
