Maybe one day, but SCCM is really on the way out for alot of people and It would take me a long time to record a demo for that as I would need to set up the environment. I will put it on the list of things to do but dont expect it done quickly ok?
Your Tutorials are the best for learning these tools. Thank you for uploading such good content. What Tool did you use to parse in the credentials like that?
Thank! - I didn't see you entered a license key. I've seen folks are using volume license key, but we don't have one, we are CSP customer with M365 E3 so should be Ok to reimage, but wasn't sure if you leave it blank does it just get deployed to the system and automatically pick up/use the OME key that comes with the laptop??
Great tutorial....I need to build a number of devices into kiosk....I can see configuration xml files but how do I apply them to the build...during build or after?
you want a different tool, go take a look at windows ICD learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/configuration/provisioning-packages/provision-pcs-for-initial-deployment
Hey, thanks very much for your video I fail at one point. At 07:57 I cant add a DP, like there seems to be no one ... but at every other step I can find the DP. What can I do here?
I followed your videp. Thank You I learned alot but the OS is not showing in the software centre but the Speedtest application I deployed separately is showing
I am using conf manager version 2207 and downloaded Windows 11 64 bit but i am unable to load it to operating system images giving me a generic error. Note: its 22H2 version
@@mwcloud Yes I see it and copy it but sometimes it is slightly corrupted or not right for instal. Is there a better way to access it than simply copying and pasting?
I tried deploying on PXE boot and it says it doesn't find a boot image. I then tried importing a boot image which I extracted with some command line commands to a share I created. But while it says it ran successfully to import the boot.wim the disc that should go green stays grey, same for importing a new install.wim file. Any ideas about what I am doing wrong on all counts?
I used this command to copy both the install and the boot wim's to a share on my c drive of the config manager VM Export-WindowsImage -SourceImagePath e:\sources\install.wim -DestinationImagePath \\cm1\wimsy\install2.wim -SourceIndex 6
solved, in the distribution point properties under the PXE tab I had not enabled allow this distributionpoint to respond to incoming PXE requests. MY PXE boot with the set up I originally created following your instructions works. But I still have problems importing new boot.wim and install.wim files as they stay grey
Straight to the point. Perfect!
No problem! Be sure to check out my other videos for more straight to the point content
Nicely done . Probably the best to understand task sequence. Thank you
You are welcome!
One of the best video!!
Hi Mike. Tutorials are brilliant. Just wondering could you do a complete tutorial of the installation of SCCM?
Maybe one day, but SCCM is really on the way out for alot of people and It would take me a long time to record a demo for that as I would need to set up the environment. I will put it on the list of things to do but dont expect it done quickly ok?
Thanks you helped me a lot on my last and bigges college project
Glad I could help!

Hello Mike! Thanks for help! - I would like to know more about SCCM please.
Okay, sub and I’ll make some more sccm content as there is a lot of people asking for it
Hey, thanks very much for your video
I fail at one point.
At 07:57 I cant add a DP, like there seems to be no one ... but at every other step I can find the DP. What can I do here?
That is to do with your SCCM config. You might just not have permission to see it
Can you make a video showing how to create a Win11 gold image with O365 and Adobe reader? Thanks.
is this same process for an inplace upgrade without formatting?
No. You need to create task sequence to "Upgrade an OS"
I followed your videp. Thank You I learned alot but the OS is not showing in the software centre but the Speedtest application I deployed separately is showing
sorry its now showing in the software centre, just took about an hour or two to show up
You might not have set it to available. Yet that could be a whole number of reasons, that just a first idea
If you do it this way.. will it keep the computer on the domain and will it keep the users files?
What permissions are required on the network share where the OS images are stored?
Hi, can it retain the domain information? I mean, does it keep the hostname and groups? Thx.
I am using conf manager version 2207 and downloaded Windows 11 64 bit but i am unable to load it to operating system images giving me a generic error.

You need to copy the error before would be able to advise. "generic error" is not much to go on
How do you get teh OS files off teh ISO? OI copied them but sometimes it wont use the installed copies
You just need to get the install.wim file from the sources directory in the ISO. That is the whole OS image

My wife came in and saw the way you looked at me at 4:07 and now she doesn't allow me to watch your videos anymore 😢
Don't blame me, blame nvidia. www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/jan-2023-nvidia-broadcast-update/
Thank you!
You're welcome!
I did this and now our PC got broken and died and I have to call HP support THANKS!
No problem
you are moving your curser a lot and it creates confusion.
