i think the problem is when you use a box dye after a bleach round.. not the box dye itself
So true that natural goes perfect with everyone's skin tone! It never looks too cool or warm. Never clashes with clothes. If the goal is only looking good (not interesting or creative), doing nothing color-wise works wonders. A good layered haircut with the right styling will look like a million bucks. Maybe it's a bit boring, but since everyone seems to have highlights nowadays, maybe it's a bit different too?
I have brown hair golden brown it's dyed and I never looked more interesting imo..it's all how you present yourself.🤎

@@blushfaerie maybe you’re not looking at yourself from the right angle (if that makes sense?) i was born with bright red hair that eventually turned to a dark auburn color. i’m the palest person i’ve seen but it’s not too dark of a color for my skin tone. even black hair with the right undertones looks nice on me.
This is hands down my favorite hair dye of all time -all the shades are natural looking & beautiful & give multidimensional effect. It floors me it’s still the cheapest out there.

I have used Colorsilk for 20 years (Dark Brown) and have always loved it. People are always shocked to hear that it is an at home box dye.

I definitely like long brown hair on you! I think the color looks a little hollow since you didn’t fill it first. If you did a light copper gold first and then the brown overtop I think it would’ve been perfect! I’ve been a pro hairstylist for 12 years and I never shame people about doing their own hair color or using box dye. The only negative I can see is if they royally fuck it up and then end up paying 10x more than it would’ve cost if they just went to a pro in the beginning. Haha

Us boring people with brown hair get stared at too, people in my neighborhood are constantly staring at me and I wear no makeup and hair normal brown hair...
@@EsmeraldaWolfsbane7777 I didn't say that I don't get stared at when I dress in sweatpants and no makeup, but I don't get people harassing me and barking at me like when they do when I wear goth makeup and platforms :/
I love those revlon dyes, it lasts so long for being a cheap box. It last even longer than those 10-13 dollar boxes.

I’m a hairstylist and before I always used this I never had a problem removing it.. yes even the black. But I’m also really patient too. Black is always harder to remover box dye or not. Box dye gets a bad name for no reason. The Schwarzkopf box dyes are great too!

If you ever wanna go back to your natural color, Bleach London just came out with their Super Natural color correction kits in Dark Blonde, Mid Brown, and Dark Brown.
Would these work on bleached hair though since bleaching is literally altering the natural pigment in your hair?

@@adrienalineadrienne oh that's actually really interesting! I looked into it and saw it was like a filler and semi permanent kit which is honestly do handy to have and would save people a lot of hassle if they want to go back natural

Box dye is such a mystery to me. If you’d like do a video explaining the numbering thing with 6.35 , 8.51 etc what do they mean?!
Every company has there own number/ color cordination so every line is different 😅

I really love how you spoke about box dye. It's nice to hear some down to earth opinions on it. Sure, I'd prefer to have my hair professionally colored every time, but that's just not realistic for me. My hairstylist always says "Generally speaking, there's not much you can do that we can't fix together." And I so appreciate that!

Your natural colour is beautiful on you! You are so right about peoples natural colour suiting them the best. I used to dye my hair red and then dark brown intermittently as a teen and was never happy with the tone of it or how it looked on me, eventually I decided to stop dying my hair and I fell in love with my natural hair colour! (It's like a Chestnut brown with lighter natural highlights!)

That wig looks very natural on you, and would never know it was a wig. However I love your colored hair so it’s really hard for me to pick. Your personality seems to come through so much more with all your different multi colors which I love. You still look stunning with the Brown though.😊

I have used that same exact box color for years since I was about 14, I am 23 now lol. Whenever I want to stop dying my hair crazy colors I use the Revlon dye in 'Jet Black'! works awesome and not to mention, fades super nice into a brown!

I like it. I like the natural texture of the wig too. It's slightly wavy and not overly styled like a voluminous blowout. The fun colors are nice too. It's cool to have options.

I would recommend that if you’re going from blonde to brunette… that you fill the hair before applying the brunette color… otherwise it’s going to look muddy especially as it fades

I’ve used number 41 for my hair colour but right now I have the chestnut from colour pop on and adore that my natural hair is auburn which is red and brown and yours is gorgeous and it suits you and omg I dye my hair often too
