Hi Joe & Team, Thank you for the opportunity to be featured on China Cycling and Panda Podium. Being part of your platforms is always truly meaningful to us. Our goal with the PRO NxT SL2 is exactly that: to reconnect with our roots and continue delivering great value without compromise. Looking forward to your continued support!💙
I have 3 sets of yoeleo, including some from the early ebay days, and they're just so reliable and strong. Just had a failure on a disc wheel from a different brand, and if I can't get warranty I'll definitely be getting one of those new D8 Nxt, that looks so nice.
I have two yeoleo wheels. They are good quality and have good service. I think not being the cheapest or considered lightest/fastest, they are lurking in the middle. If they can pick up a great value mid range wheel seeing as many companies are costing more, i think that is smart.
Hey Joe, good content. What is the rider weight max limit, please? I'm a larger taller rider at 120kg, so I need something a little tougher, I'm thinking of the 50mm depth!? Ride safe bud!
Yeah! We did some last year. It's always a balance between having all-year-round good value, and doing something to get traction for BFCM. We'll defo have some deals though, mostly bundle deals... frame + wheels + bar, etc.
How light is super light? My lightest rim brake wheels are 6xx grams, hahaha. But they're tubular with titaniun/carbon spokes. Not reliable enough to sell though. Also, those hybrid spokes are hella expensive.
@@ChinaCycling haha, yeah I guess I could give a bit more. Tubeless/clinchers, open to the idea of carbon spokes, but yeah - for regular road use when the weather is good!
Wheels look good. I think you need to add a just a wee bit more colour to the bike though, if you really want to get noticed. ENVE like stickers for the wheels ;)
Elitewheels has EDGE 2.0 Disc Brake for 900USD on ali and they say the 50mm version is 1309g Unless I'm missing something, that is both lighter and cheaper?
Yeah but the rims are a little bit shallower in width, but to me that's ok. The only unbeatable version is the Yoeloe 60mm Pro's ! They both also use the same hubs and spokes !
@@Zeben84 I'm the opposite, I've been looking for wider wheels and now I see Elite also has Edge gravel, which are up to 32mm wide, which is perfect for me :) They are also cheaper then the road version and only very slightly heavier. I will most likely buy them on 11.11. or black friday.
With tubeless rim strips the weight of the elitewheels will probably be higher while the Yoeleo does not need rim strips 😉 Price level actually the elitewheels are a little cheaper 👍🏻
Joe, you need more colours on that bike! 😜 YOELEO: You Only Eventually Live Exactly Once. I have to believe that's what it stands for. And while I have you attention, Joe: What's an affordable Chinese Gravel carbon wheelset that can be bought in the US?
The 9Velo gravel wheelset seems pretty good... but depends on your definition. of affordable. The CRW gravel wheels are my fav these days, but around $1300.
@@ChinaCycling, I'm a cheapskate, Joe, so US$500-700 is affordable to me. We can't all be classy like you, mate 😜 I'll check out the 9Velos, thanks! Also, I'm liking your kit. There's not enough magenta kits out there, and it makes me sad.
Spokes, hubs, nipples, horizontal parts of the rim, most of the weight in a wheel set is fixed. And even 88mm over 50mm is only 76pc more height, so it's actually rather logical.
@@Shadowboost I had 50mm and always had problems in strong crosswonds. Now having 42mm for a year now. Not a single problem in the same conditions. Of you add up the side area, 8mm makes a lots of a difference on the front wheel. Mainly with todays narrow handlebars and more extreme aero positions.
I've had some pretty bad experiences with the QC of Yoeleo products, including two frames and a set of their earlier SAT wheels. Their customer communication after a sale is also subpar. I think ICAN products are better, from a lot of experience (a frame and several sets of wheels). My Elite 50D wheels are good too. Bottom line is while these wheels seem to have a lot going for them, I'll take a pass. I should also say that one of my favorite bikes is a Yoeleo R12, once they sent me one that had round holes, etc. Buying from Panda Podium though would be a plus.
Yeah. Only issue I ever had on any of my Yoeleo stuff was rust on bottle cage mount holes, but I obviously have limited sample size. I think like you said; the most important thing is what happens *if* something does go wrong.
Please stop increasing internal wide, i have AERO 2024 Top bike, Scott foil rc, maximum tire is 30mm, but, 28mm better. 23 internal its already a lot I dont want 25mm rim with 28mm tire, some tires will expand up to 32mm, and i font want only 1,5mm for hooking my tire
Yeah.... I must say I'm not convinced by super wide tires on road bikes... but... here in China we have smooth roads, so maybe thats the difference. Either way, there's enough choice out there for everyone.

I'd be worried about blending into background with such a stealth looking bike.
Great review 😊
Thanks for watching
Awesome video Joe and China Cycling. Equally awesome Panda Podium kit.
That is a very bright and colourful bike I like it , nice wheels as well
Thanks for the love.
Very nice paint scheme. Is it custom pattern?
Did i miss the bit where you said if they are hooked or hookless? 🤔
Hooked!
@@ChinaCycling as God intended

Yeah, I think there is a sweet spot when you're not trying to be the cheapest or the lightest.

35mm has a weight limit of 105kg, the others are 110kg.
Are you planning to do some cool black friday/cyber Monday deal Joe?
Yeah! We did some last year. It's always a balance between having all-year-round good value, and doing something to get traction for BFCM. We'll defo have some deals though, mostly bundle deals... frame + wheels + bar, etc.
Conti Grandsports Race. Interesting tyre choice. 👀
Have you looked at selling lightcarbon / proxcarbon stuff? Hambini rates them highly and super inexpensive.
Is your frame painted or wrapped? Love it.
Its a paint job. Limited edition, will be for sale soon.
Hi Joe! Love your channel ❤. What is the brand and model of your frame in this video? I like it!
Hey, its the Quick Pro AR:One, as raced by our UCI Conti Team. Will have a lot more content dropping on this frame next month.
@@ChinaCyclingwhat about that aero big rock frame your buddy is ridding? When do we get the info on that frame and option to buy?
Big fan ❤ of the color of the bike and jersey
Is that China, that you’re riding in??? Looks absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Looks like it should be a huge cycling destination place to ride!!!!!
Yeah, it is. China is low-key a great place to ride. Maybe I'll make more videos about what its like to ride around here...
Where do we get the skin suit from ? Absolutely mega !!
Haha. At the moment its one of one. Maybe I'll do a small batch of them.
Who's knocking out the cheapest, super light, rim brake wheels out of China these days?
Far sports, Yuanan, light bicycle. Just email them. The third one is the only one with an up to date website. The others it's easier to email a human.
There are sub 1100 gram Wheels don't remember the brands though

are these offered in mixed depth sets?
If you send Panda Podium a message, I think they can do that if stock levels allow.

It's been a looooong work in progress. Should be up first week of November.
what kind of hub? Ratchet? How many engaging points?
Ratchet 36T 😉
Thanks. Amazing how I manage to talk about a wheelset for over 10mins and still don't cover everything....
Are you selling the jersey and bib shorts?
Thats my skinsuit. At the moment not for sale bc I didnt think anyone would want one... maybe I'll do a small run. They're not cheap to make though.

really like the specs and options of the wheelsets, but somehow the lettering and name make it look like a shimano dura-ace knockoff...
I own Dura Ace C50s, and I defo see the resemblance.
$900 for a set of wheels is considered cheap. What is the welcoming to?
Lookup lightcarbon or proxcarbon. They have similar wheels for half the price.
I'm surprised there is not a larger disparity in weight between the rim depths, odd.
Spokes, hubs, nipples, horizontal parts of the rim, most of the weight in a wheel set is fixed. And even 88mm over 50mm is only 76pc more height, so it's actually rather logical.
Yeah. No way is that 60mm rim only 5 grams heavier than the 50mm rim. (60mm Wheelset claiming to be only 10 grams heavier than 50mm wheelset)
would u happen to know any good chinese alloy wheels? they seem to be kinda hard to find.
Not really. The main problem being shipping costs of alloy wheels are the same as carbon, so they eat into the profits of very very cheap wheels.
@@ChinaCycling unfortunate.
@@ChinaCycling i guess i gotta buy just regular dt swiss wheels then. Luckily i know a place that sells them at reasonable price.
25 tire on 23 wheel ??!??!?!?
Just 1mm per side for clamping?
Nice wheels, but LOVE that bike paint job!!
Thanks... will drop a dedicated video on it end of this month / beginning of next. It may be colourful, but also very light. ;)
Could you do a Chinese brand gravel wheel comparison?
Yeah, we had this conversation in the office the other day. Need to do more gravel wheel content. Will get it done.
Please référence of your jersey ❤
What shoe are you wearing? Review soon? 🫢
Some shots I'm rocking the BONTs, some shots are the Zuatu. Similar-ish shoes, but the Zuatus aren't cheap...
Nice ones. I am missing the 40-45 mm deep one though. 35 is too shallow, and 50 is un-managable for me in a cross-wind.

Introducing a new wheel in 2024 with a 23mm internal width doesn't make sense.
There are a few comments here asking for narrower, hahaha. But yes, the trend is definitely for wider and wider...
will this butchering farsports and winspace ?

I have the 2023 foil rc and my farsport 58x31.7 with 24 internal are perfect with a 28mm tire or 29mm tire. Rule of 105 is antiquated and dead.
Great value? 999? And Carbon value.....that things cost nothing in production
You have to pay for Joe's cut :) anything on panda podium is almost by definition not the best value.
@SaveThePostalService ripoff paintjob
had a quick google, I just found a colourful Santa Cruz, but no black and white elements...so... not sure if thats what you're referring to?
