It was really interesting your video this time. The way Dr. Russak talks about the subject is clear and concise. This help a lot for people who is not related to the dermatological field. Thanks
Hi Emily! Thank you for sharing ☺️. If you don’t want to go down the Botox/filler route due to budget and other constraints, I’m curious if you could do a segment on what women can be doing to prevent aging naturally (I.e retinol/is the over the counter that different from a prescription, products, facial massage, diet, etc). Thank you!
But eventually everyone starts looking a little weird. Their eyes get smaller and the cheeks still look chipmunky. There are exceptions like JLo, but look at Sofia Vergara lately. She's starting to get that weird look. So if someone as rich as her who can get the best of the best in the world can still look unnatural. It doesn't make me feel very confident. I want JLo's doctor only!
You are so right about the 'smaller eyes, chipmunky' look. I noticed something weird about Lisa Eldridge in her latest vid and those two exact things were going on with her face.
Hey Emily, I tought about commenting for a while. I think the health aspect is interesting. (If not necessary the best way to treat depression..) But I do think it is really concerning that a young, beautiful women like you chooses to advocate that aging is something that is bad, something to avoid, prevent and something that should not to be seen on a woman. Why? You don't have a wrinkle and yet you are ( and we should be) so scared to get one, that we should all inject botox (yes, it's a poison) and fillers to our faces? Is that what you want young (and old) girls to feel like? In my personal opinion, in most cases it does not make you look better. Just more artificial. And someone is making a whole lot of money of your insecuritys.. (Just spend more and more and more money cause you really need it. - nobody does!)
Botox relaxes the muscles you therefore loose that muscle which will ultimately age you as soon as you stop botox. She's not on about any negativity because it's a money maker for her
Science literally does not support that theory. Wrinkles are from overworked muscles not loose muscles. Preventative botox is very helpful and natural.
Fillers stay inside you more than you think. Do some research about it. The effect last 6 months but then it spreads and stays in you skin for many many years. Think about, fillers fill. But they are not made to prevent wrinkles at all. A face lifting it's way better (if it's done correctly) than fillers. Botox it's not forever and can be dangerous.always always choose the best surgeon in you area. The best you can you do now is sunscreen, sleep and eat healthy. Oh yeah, and a good dermatologist it's needed too.
I love this video so much so much information I been wanting to know for a long time and never learnt! I want to try Botox for my forehead have you tried it yet Emily?
You can make them look smaller by using chemical exfoliants consistently like Salicylic acid (BHA)🙌at least it worked wonders for me (Paula's Choice is my fav)
@@hex.goddess Here’s an example of how it can relax muscles... “Botox is used to relax tight (spastic or dystonic) muscles in some children with neuromuscular conditions. It relaxes muscles by blocking overactive nerve signals to muscles. Botox has many medical uses, but in the Rehabilitation Clinic it is used to relax tight (spastic or dystonic) muscles.”
Botox works by BLOCKING the chemical signal between nerves and muscles that makes the muscle contract or tighten. This provides reliable relief from spasticity symptoms including pain and muscle stiffness. So it causes flaccid (relaxed) paralysis
Emily have you ever thought of doing podcast? I love listening to your talking :)

Would like her thoughts on laser facial treatments and Vivace microneedling. Great series Emily, keep up the good work, beautiful!
Question for Dr. Rusack: Around what age should someone start getting Botox/fillers in order to maintain their skin?

Very interesting! I would never know about it. Absolutely loving this video format and contents
Love this series! Could we have Dr. Russak's take on infrared therapy for wrinkles/hair loss and any tips on maintaining thicker hair as we age?
Thanks for this, Emily! What filler and Botox have you had? Would love to know xx
5:16 That just opened my mind even more to new possibilities on how I see beauty and psychology and muscle memory.
what refreshing video series! Love it
Very interesting content, love learning about the skin!
Same !!
Emily, wish you the best in the new year😚✨
This is very informative! Thank you! 🥰
Merry Christmas Emily! 🎄🎄🎄
is there any difference between going to a dermatologist vs a plastic surgeon for fillers/botox?
MERRY CHRISTMAS Y’ALL 💗💓💞💕💘

@@misomercy Agree with you on Lisa. Have always loved her, each to their own but her face has changed.
I saw that on Lisa too!! Her face got chunky and her cheeks are puffier and look different from the side
She talks about not freezing the forehead but If you look at her own nothing moves .... I guess too much botox in the wrong way?
i was thinking the same, the doctor's face is so frozen and robotic only the lips move. I would never want to look like that.
Merry Christmas, Emily! 🤗🎄💫❤

reminder == set!
Ah! This time I might be there in time!
Those empty sidewalks in NYC are so sad.
You look gorgeous 😍😍💖💖💖
Love you Emily but I will never have botox or fillers
This was really interesting and informative! Didn’t know that Botox was relaxing the muscles😊
It is actually a neurotoxin called Botulinum toxin and causes muscle paralysis.
@@hex.goddess that might be the ancient Botox, she did mention they have different ingredients now in Botox she says it’s a protein I guess
@@camillam.7331, Botolinum toxin is a protein and there is no other ingredient invented that relaxes the muscles this way.

I am suprised whenever I listen her.
Question for Dr. Julie Russak: Strawberries or oranges for nice skin?
Hello beautiful.💓😘
Hi Hi Hi :-) 💗
notice me 🤚
You’re so beautiful 🤩
I like it
Why am i watching this
Kind of interesting, but way too onesided.
90% of Polish celebs now have hamster cheeks. It's so noticeable that it looks absurd. Besides, dr Russak has Polish roots? Surname gives it away 😉
Luv botox tbh
So this is Emily's idea of a Christmas Day video? I'm kinda disappointed.
She doesn't owe us anything lol
@@PenelopeAlys yes.. And, I'm entitled to my opinion :)
