Clear grain alcohol actually evaporates so quickly it wouldn't intoxicate anyone but if someone wanted to make this without adding any alcohol, an alcohol free clear extract would work just as well!
Fun Fact: Fruit loops have same flavour they do not have different flavours for different colored fruit loop.... 😛They all taste same only the color is different😂!...
So people thought they were all different flavors depending on the fruit loop color? That never occurred to me. I always assumed they were all the same taste. It would have been easy to test it out if you thought otherwise...just try each one individually and it would clear everything right up!

GeminiGold27 I actually don’t drink at all. I use vodka because all of the alcohol evaporates quickly and allows the lustre dust and corn syrup portions to set. If I were to use water those elements would stay sticky and never dry enough to be placed cleanly on the cake!
Love seeing all the great cakes but I guess I was expecting “Step by Step” to mean a video with actual step by step instructions. These videos just rush through everything and explain nothing.
I’m sorry.. I’m not really a big fan of Cassie’s work. This cereal bowl cake and the ramen bowl cake. All I can see is uneven cake layers, caramelization, and not the best fondant work 🙈
Bree so sorry you aren’t a fan! You’re right, my layers will never be perfect- with the ball pan it gets a little tricky but this one was pretty close! Fun fact; I actually always leave the caramelization on my cakes, I bake them low and slow so even though they are a little darker on the outside you don’t notice it at all when you’re eating it (plus hello more cake!). You are 100% right about the fondant, it was giving me so much trouble with the humidity but I was able to make it work and get those bowls covered🥣 I’ll definitely never be as perfect as Yo but I like to roll with the punches, make mistakes, and show everyone how to persevere and that there’s more than one right way to do things! Hopefully the next time you watch a video or make a cake this can help you to remember that even though it might not be perfect it can still make people happy and that’s what it’s all about.
