You make it look so easy and I know if I tried you would not be able to tell what it was. Kinda like when your child brings home drawings from school and you ask what it is and go ohhh yeah good job!! LOL
I tried a couple of her tutorials and while it took me HOURS LOL I had soooo much fun attempting it and learned a ton. They didn't come out too bad actually either. Just try one and I bet you'd love it

Like if you plan the cake out by drawing the design first on paper... using watercolors on canvas to see if the colors and effects would be something you'd want... testing out your techniques on swatches of modeling chocolate...
As a fellow artist, I'd really love to see that :)
I think you should go back and redo some of your older cakes cause just in the few years you’ve progressed into a cake decorating goddess or maybe some kind of sorcerer. Or just a cake artist. But you’ve gotten a lot better at color matching and learned so many more tricks so I think you could redo these cakes and make them look even better.

The skin of a real cantaloupe is more of a cream color with sage in between the cracks, you have the whole thing as sage.

Where does one get the supplies (wafer paper, modeling chocolate, edible coloring, etc.)?
Usually a cake decorating stores. You can also make modeling chocolate. I think main ingredients are chocolate and corn syrup.
