If they've been living in that house for 210 years, why it's so destroyed and looks abandoned? They couldn't be bothered doing basic cleaning and repair?
This quest would be a lot better if it went like this. Billy was a normal wasteland kid whos family got attacked maybe by raiders and took refuge in the fridge after taking on radiation. He was stuck in for a few years, maybe five or seven and basically went into deep hibernation. Now he has to find out whether his family is still alive and where theyve gone. Maybe even throw in a thing where Billy's parents have to come to terms with having a ghoulified kid.
@@ambriasaunders1869 That's what I was getting at. The family getting attacked and maybe the raiders using radioactive weapons, the parents had to flee and Billy was left on his own
Lmao makes no sense, like nobody walked through that street in 200 years to hear him? And their parents are legit down the corner from that fridge as well 😂
I can't really get into this video because it's complaining too much. First of all, we don't know much about ghouls in the broad context of fallout. Is it radiation? How is that possible? Some ghouls were became ghouls after the bombs fell or even before the bombs fell. What causes them to be ghouls? We don't know a lot about ghouls. We don't know. Can they eat? Do they have to eat? Do they age? We just don't know a lot of stuff they could have wrecked it. To my knowledge, there's not much known about ghouls and their anatomy. Epic Nate, I think is his name. He has a good video going over like the lore of ghouls and he was very confused because we don't know a lot. Second of all, as I have family members around the world that have been locked in solitary you can find them. I mean like hardcore like a year in solitary confinement. They say after like a week you mentally get used to seeing nothing but darkness and you go a little crazy. Unless you constantly think of one thing like they were always thinking like what they're going to do when they get out. Could the kid have done that for 200 years probably not but it is a kid the kid does do have crazy imagination so who knows. He could have been thinking about his parents 200 years or not, even known how much time has really passed. Who knows. He could have been sleeping in it the whole damn time. I meant he was stuffing the fridge. There could have been food I don't know. I can't get into the video. It sounds like a old man ranting to be like 100% honest and that's all right. It's just not the video for me. I wish you would do a video of like what you would like to see in fallout five like what characters you would like to return or speculate What stuff would you want to see in fallout? 5
Fallout IS Dumb.... That is why we love it! It takes a HORRIBLE idea like Nuclear war and pokes fun at it. Humanity will survive as long as we have Humor. That being said Billy the kid in a fridge yeah That was a screwy idea. Then again... My 2nd favorite Fallout game the whole idea of the protagonist is even screwier. Benny shoots you in the head... TWICE and Doc Mitchel actually has a mid to poor medical skill. Courier 6 should have died on Doc's table. But Protagonist plot armor Dun Da DuhDAA! So while the gouhl kid in the fridge is a dumb side quest for one of the LESSER games in the Fallout world one of the BEST games hinges on the friendly and personable version of a doctor with all the skills of Frank Burns from MASH.
The 350 Hard Speech check is quite hilarious. Like this is a Ghoul kid and beyond super rare. I remember how 3 little kids at Paradise Falls in Fallout 3 were 2,000 caps. This kid should be worth that alone. Hey I love math and I do not condone Anti-Child Labor laws. Anyway, this quest was ridiculous. It has been confirmed by Bethesda for awhile now that Ghouls can get their nutrition from Radiation itself. Ok fine. But how did this kid not go feral after 210 years in isolation ? Why 210 years anyway as he didn't have to be from 2077 ? It should have been this kid has been locked in the fridge for about 2 weeks as he was scavenging and saw a Deathclaw in the distance and got scared and then got trapped. His parents passed long ago and he felt unwanted. You lead him to Hubris Comics to get him some rare comics and cool items. You can adopt him and send him to a settlement or get a ton of caps for him. That is how the quest should have happened.
It was nice bringing him back to the family. But I was shocked the parents were alive and just like damn billy in there 200 years and didn’t even age? And I didn’t even get the first gunner interaction so I was like why is this random gunner showing up at the family’s house 😂

Put a new roof on for gods sake!
If youre in the wasteland theres probably a million more things to worry about
The worst part about this is that this could have worked in 76 cause it’s only 25 years after and would make at least a little more sense.

Even better if the parents moved away because it's a highly dangerous area and you have to find them.

@@waterbottles393 Ooh! Yeah! Maybe a "random" attack from the Children of Atom, then the raiders came or something... Although Fat Mans exist.
This is why i just ingnore him and leave him locked in there

I like how you can sell him, although how much can a ghoul kid really be worth?
350
FYI Billy in the fridge is a gag from Indiana Jones 4 when Indiana hides in a fridge before the nuke falls.
New Vegas did it better. They just put a skeleton in a fridge with a fedora.
Maybe the radiation mutated his brain to have insane mental strength...?
Make it make sense Bethesda.
I honestly really like this quest it’s one of my favorites, but I understand why people don’t like it

Ghouls age very slowly didn’t you know that?

Stupid quest. I wish you could move them to a settlement. It's only useful as it is for affinity, although I like the happy ending.
She put my billy in a fridge
Maybe the family is originally from Alabama that’s why they all became ghouls together
A family that ghoulify together stick together
The whole 200 years later thing is bullshit.
