want a guide? here. step 1: run through the level as fast as you can. step 2: try not to kill that many common infected, if you don't kill lots, then it makes it so you don't encounter much as you speed through the level, hence why most speedrunners tend to melee them or try to dodge step 3: try NOT to get hunted, jocked, smoked, or charged. and your good

He is good but definitely not a god, anger4dead has been making the excact same type of videos years ago and what he is doing isn't even that difficult, as others have pointed out it's just run and pray for the most part, now finishing an entire campaign at a speed that was Valve had in mind while also clearing areas and using minimal or better no exploits is truly impressive and even that wouldn't be the Pinnacle of l4d2 skill

no, the discoloration is the camera moving through the smoke created by the shotgun blast from a moment earlier. The telltale sign for when someone gets hit is when the camera flinches and the character gets slowed down.

I'm not implying there being a god mode or anything. I just find it weird there weren't that many Special Infected at all. No tank spawns during the finale either? Is that the Director's way of saying "Ok, I know you're by yourself so I'm gonna go easy on you"? I'm not sure how any of that works. Besides that, love the content, man. @ the zombie was in his "idle state" he ran into it and this stopped his movement. He didn't take damage because the zombie didn't even spot him yet. He didn't cheat or use God mode, he just had incredible luck. If you've played the game before I'm sure you've ran into at least 1 zombie without taking damage, no?
@ there's no cheats there buddy. I guess you haven't played the game enough to know that the zombie was in an idle state. Which means you can run into it without taking damage.
This is absolutely fucking incredible and I don't think he used god mode or any cheats, but there's a clear splice between chapters 3 and 4, he changes from using a fire axe to using a crowbar
Around 6:02 you can hear a leg snap noise. When this happens it means you’ve taken fall damage and hurt yourself, lowering your health. He’s definitely in god mode, or has some cheat on to neglect fall damage. Still an impressive speed run but it sucks he flat out lied to us.

The spit needs a full second or two to actually be able to hurt you, which is enough time to go over it

He does these runs in fragments, one chapter at a time. occasionally his items will change because of this.

That was just a glitch, valve forgot to change the leg break sound so it appears even when you aren’t going to take damage
