    is wood a good option or a felt paper a good option for making air freshener ? I saw multiple videos where people used felt paper and sublimation printing using heat press. Which ones better ?

    Is there any way to set the priority on what the glowforge cuts first?
    And, can you save settings for materials that you have manually set-up?
    Thanks

  • @kevinyoungblut
    @kevinyoungblut 7 років тому

    That is one cool tool. Could you print the QRC code and glue it to a small piece of metal and then put that in with your workpiece and then not have to put settings in each time? Seems like it would be a big time saver in the end if you start using your own material. Have one made up for paper, one for 1/4" ply etc.

    Can you set the cut order? I would think it would be a better idea to cut the inner pieces out first and then the total outline. The pennies work but if it's something smaller or more intricate you are in a pickle.
    And I'm glad the heart didn't break when drilling through it like the last air freshener that will go down in infamy.

    Can you adjust your cut sequence to cut the eyes and mouth first and the larger outline last? There are many instances I have had where the order of cutting was important.

  • @DoThingsMakeStuff

  • @chrisdubois641
    @chrisdubois641 7 років тому

    Picciuto, is there a way to sequence the laser cuts? maybe if you cut the center/eyes out first with the outline second then the material will remain still? Thanks homie. Someday I'll get a Glowforge and dope tees like you!

  • @milangrujovic

    Hi David, I do not want to sound like a troll, but next time you should try to rearrange the order of cut operations. Your cut order should be: inside contours first, outside contours at the end.
    Most of the CAM software for laser cutting machines do this automatically. But I do not know how is it done with this Glowforge software.
