Ain’t nothing wrong with high mileage 911 996’s… as long as it’s been looked after. A bargain at 20k one owner and 130k now - drives like she’s brand new . Keeping her forever ❤
I now have a 997, but I still regret selling my 996 C4S. At the time I didn’t like the headlights and now I love them. I wish I kept both cars. The 996 is an amazing car. People hating on them just don’t understand the car and it’s Segway into a new generation of Porsche.
I love mine, I previously had a 964 C4 Cabriolet which was more raw and harder to drive but it’s a real, toss up between the 2 in my opinion. I also fitted cruise myself, quite easy to do. I genuinely love the headlights too.
A c2 handles better than the c4s…c4s’s have too much rear end grip that push to understeer and they weigh an extra 100 plus kg. And you can’t see those nice tail lights or questionable headlights when you’re driving the most underrated 911 of all time.
996 C4S is the best looking 996 by far, especially from the rear 3/4 view. Love the light bar across the back. The turbo wheels are the chef’s kiss.
I have the 997’s lobster claw which equally look amazing … slightly harder ride though!
@@OlithecabbyI have a C2 (2002) narrow body with lobsters. Looks amazing though ride a bit stiffer.
@@thesilverone94 on our roads they are really stiff!!
@@Olithecabby yes, unfortunately. I’m also running Eibach lowering springs lol
@@thesilverone94 amazing grip on these wider rims though … love cornering

996 C4S, the 911 of 911s...
Great looking car. Work of art.
It sure is!

Great car! Great bloke (Steve).

beautiful car and looks good with the aero kit.
The best wishes to your channel! Well done and keep the pace)
This is my next car, without the aero kit....sounds amazing! Great upload

Lovely car, strange that it doesnt have cruise control. Most 996's do have it and so does my C4S.
Mine also doesn't have cruise control. You can retrofit them but I haven't been bothered and I've done a few euro road trips.
Another great episode Trev.
Nice vid and talk. Seeing that broken steering column switch reminds me to repair mine 🥴🙈
Hey, tell me more please? I am not aware of this. Thanks 👍
