@@secondshiftfarmer8123 almost have to take it loose on both sides to try and free up. May have to just replace. Sometimes you can get them freed up. I was an ih combine mechanic for number of years. Really enjoy watching your videos. We used to run a 1440, good ole machine. Friend of mine had a 1420. I'm on the Illinois side. Se of st louis.
Probably not, years ago some people buried a few old buildings and bunch of scrap on that farm and every spring and fall we find all sorts of things popping out of the ground

Check your cable between potentiometer and where it connects to pipe below the header. Bet that cable is frozen. Those potentiometers rarely go bad.
I sprayed everything down with WD-40 a couple times, but i do need to go over it all and find the issue.

It probably is froze up, it did go under water for about a month when we flooded in 2019
