    Check your cable between potentiometer and where it connects to pipe below the header. Bet that cable is frozen. Those potentiometers rarely go bad.

      I sprayed everything down with WD-40 a couple times, but i do need to go over it all and find the issue.

      @@secondshiftfarmer8123 almost have to take it loose on both sides to try and free up. May have to just replace. Sometimes you can get them freed up. I was an ih combine mechanic for number of years. Really enjoy watching your videos. We used to run a 1440, good ole machine. Friend of mine had a 1420. I'm on the Illinois side. Se of st louis.

      It probably is froze up, it did go under water for about a month when we flooded in 2019

    Nice combine. I have a 1460 they are great machines. Glad you got done. Interesting to hear you say you were in topeka, that's my area!

    The iron parts in the field are still a result of the flooding you got ?

      Probably not, years ago some people buried a few old buildings and bunch of scrap on that farm and every spring and fall we find all sorts of things popping out of the ground

    West Alton? I work at the East Alton Rink, and get gas in west Alton. Nice to see someone close to home!
