I received my Henson razor, shave soap and barber shop balm. I tried the balm after a shower last night. Excellent stuff, felt very soothing. Will try the brush, soap and razor soon. Thanks!
Matt, Thanks for highlighting Hendrix Classics. I have been using their soaps and aftershaves - all are high quality products from a master artisan. But even more, Pete Hendricks is a really great person who cares about his customers. Great to see his products highlighted by another noted master artisan in the community.
Good stuff!tl thx 🙏
Being a James Bond fan I bought the Bond soap/splash combo from the HC&C website and it’s one of my favorite soaps/scents in my den! makes you feel like a badass British MI6 agent even if you’re not lol.
It's great to see HC&C getting some spotlight as his products are top notch. Pete is a great guy. I love the aftershave feeling I get from his soap. HC&C has been dropping some awesome scents recently and has some of the best label designs.
Great soap, Great Artisan. Pete makes an excellent product.
I will certainly have to try some of these. I have to be careful what I pick because my wife is allergic to some substances. But I can definitely give some things a try.
Looks like a great brand worthy of a try.
I just looked and saw that I have 8 soaps and matching aftershaves from Hendrix. They all perform great and smell good. Pete the owner is a pleasure to deal with, always open to feedback, and provides some of the best customer service.
Thanks for sharing!
What a great line of fragrances by he &c soap maker I have had it one great quality soap
HC&C products are top notch and Pete is a really nice guy! Great line to have
Thanks, Matt! Love HC&C's stuff, especially their stainless steel shave bowls, and Pete is a great guy. Cheers!
Great info video. Used Hendrix Classics soap for the first time today and it made a great lather that was slick and creamy. It was Year of the Dragon. Have a great day. 👍
Nice. I recently ordered the Miami Nights soap and splash, so I am looking forward to that.
Unfortunately, and you didn’t showcase it, Year of the Tiger did not go over so well for me-stinks like latent marijuana smoke-not appealing at all. I have tried circling back to it and give it another chance but it has not grown on me.
Anyhow, good morning to you guys and thank you for another great video.
I'm wondering if this is an older video that is just now being released. I recall seeing the Hendrix Classics & Co Soaps + Aftershaves for sale over this past summer(2023).
It is a nice product line with some good scent combinations.
No, it's just taken us this long to get it on the docket for video. We only release two videos a week but have been growing way faster than that!
@RazorEmporium Now that makes sense!!! ❤
Nice intro to the line. Pete is a great guy with great products. He also sells the best shaving bowls. I use a SS one every shave.
Miami Nights scent is really nice!
Italian Plum and Miami nights sound VERY interesting! Hendrix may be the next soap I try.
Year Of The Tiger is my fave HC&C scent! 😁👍🏼
Well being honest the soap market is heavy with choices. I buy price point stuff that works.
Badass is cute name.🥳
Got year of the tiger and Havana breeze in my shave den. Great scents.
Great video. But wish these companies including yours could come up with a scratch and sniff
Great Video Matt, big fan of HC&C. Pete produces a great product
"Not just a business started to make a dime"
I like that. I hope this doesn't get too political, but I'll say it here. There's an economic theory that capitalism, at its best, exists primarily to provide goods or services not otherwise provided. When a business is started only to make money, it's unsustainable because you're not working to provide the best goods or services, but to make money. Razor Emporium is a good example. Matt, you need to make a profit. But, the reason you're successful is because you strive to put out the best product and the best service. Because you've done great at that, the profits take care of themselves.
Obviously, making money needs to happen with a business, but the only way it becomes sustainable is that their primary concern is providing the best that it possibly can. Now, at the corporate level, there's the "fiduciary responsibility" which shifts the goal to making the shareholders as much money as possible. That's why capitalism becomes industrials at that level. There needs to be heavy regulations at the corporate level, otherwise, you get things like recent recessions because the people at the top took everyone else's money.
Anyway, don't mean to get political, but when you said that he started it for the love of the game and not primarily to make money, I really liked that.
I like Milton Friedman when it comes to economics. So I mostly agree with what you said but would caution that most "monopolies" only exist in a market because of government regulations picking winners and loosers. True "capitalism" solves this problem with the invisible hand of competiton. But when you have to keep on retainer dozens of attorneys just to stay in government compliance, only the large companies will survive and the little guys don't have a shot. Food for thought :)
I love HC&C! Very good soap.

Matt, how many takes do you have to do when reading the descriptions on products? You do a great job but I’d be cracking up reading them.
Usually 2-3!
Went to pick up some Martin De Candre. Looks like you sold out. That must be some good stuff.
I think we broke their factory lol 😆 they owe us soap from last year still!
