    I can only imagine how ecstatic you are knowing that one day soon you will be able to work on your BX that pulled that bigger tractor backwards inside your new building. The amount of room you will have when you put your cab back on this winter. I have a nice two car garage but it was way to full so I bought an Amish 12 X 18 storage building which freed up most of my Garage. I'm looking forward to seeing you get it built. I bet you wish you had 2018 lumber prices.

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  2 роки тому +1

      Oh for sure, I’m so damn excited I been waiting so long for this. I certainly do wish I had 2018 prices but what can ya do.. it ain’t gonna get better anytime soon that’s for sure and i absolutly refuse to live another winter with out a real garage to work in haha. Sounds like your Amish storage shed did the trick to save you some space , my buddy bought a shed from the Amish that was the same size as yours and he loves it.. it was the same guy who I dug out a shed pad for in 2 of my videos about a year or so ago. It worked out great for him and his lawn equipment and cleared his regular garage out nicely! Thanks for watching

    If a pigeon had landed on the planks when you were lifting the big load it might have tipped forward. Amazing what you did with what you had.

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  2 роки тому +1

      Haha thanks Trevor, your not kidding either, man I gave it all that tractor had to move that last pile and one thing I forget to mention was the loader also would drift downward very quickly.. so I was constantly having to readjust the loader and keep an eye on it because I’d look away for a minute and the load was almost on the ground again haha. We plan to fix his tractor up for him in my new garage some day once it’s finished. Thanks for watching

    That was a good trailer load of supplies. I had a friend lend me his tractor for a week and it had all kinds of problems as well, so I know how difficult it would have been to operate that Branson tractor, you did a good job using it. I am looking forward to seeing the build in upcoming videos.

      Haha thanks Paul, least you know from experience how stressful and tricky it can be running something that beat up and broken specially for your first time and then On top of it unloading $10k+ in materials was quite stressful for me haha. In the end it did the job tho and it all worked out, that Branson certainly impressed me. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!

    Happy to see you pulled the trigger on the building! The shoe box shed served you well but it was time to have some room and get things under cover. If nothing else the video definitely showed how nice having a HST tractor is over a gear and shuttle. I can only imagine the thoughts you had using that tired old Branson! Hydraulics don't fail me now!

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  2 роки тому

      Thanks David! Haha oh man I had some thoughts alright! It was def quite a pain mainly because it was so sloppy and worn out but on top of that I had no room to work and had to make 3-6 point turns to set things down where I wanted in such a right area haha. I’m def excited to get the barn finished so we can do some projects in it this winter, thanks for watching!

      Thanks man I appreciate that! It’s been a long time coming for sure! And to be honest that tractor was bought brand new in 1997, so it’s really not even that old! Just looks older than dirt because it’s missing half its parts and has the rest of its parts worn out or broken! 😂 All In all tho I was very impressed with its lifting capabilities! Too bad that branson has been abused. If it had been taken care of it would have been a decent tractor. Apparently the engine is bullet proof😆

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  2 роки тому

      Thanks man, I think so too as it’s gonna open me up to being able to do so much other stuff once it’s finally finished. I totally agree with that poor Branson.. it’s only like a 1997 too! Thing is just WHOOPED.. hell even the steering column was ready to fall off when I used it, I forgot to add that to the list of parts it needed. I told my naibor “once I get my garage built bring it over and we can fix her back up, give her a little lovin cuz she still has potential. Apparently the motors on these were designed by or after Cummins.. so it makes perfect sense why the motor still runs like a top. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

    Thank you for all your videos, watching them and all the jobs you’ve tackled with it helped me to decide to buy my BX2380. I had a quick question about your current shop, I have a similar building. Did you put an extra layer of plywood down or reinforce the floor in any way? Just didn’t want to pull in and crash through the floor lol.

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  2 роки тому

      Hey Greg thanks man that’s great to hear! I hope you’ve been happy with your purchase so far, it sounds like you are! I don’t recommend or use any equipment that I feel isn’t worth it and if I say it’s good it’s cuz I truely feel it’s good! The 2380 is a nice machine and some day I’ll prolly upgrade to one myself but so far my 2370 has been holding up like a soldier lol. As for my shed the floor is just a regular floor, it’s an old shed and was built half ass by someone before me so I don’t know the spacing on the floor joices but so far it’s held up well.. I was also afraid the BX may fall through but it hasn’t.. tho I will admit there are some spots that are getting weak in the plywood from coming in and out so often as I do.. specially where I always park my BX.. there are 2 spots where the tires are sinking into the plywood.. mainly both in the back under the rear tires under all the weight. Lmk what you end up doing.. go thick with your plywood and you should be ok 👍🏻

      Hey Ron, yes I was actually mad I didn’t mention it once in the entire video but the Cummins handled it flawlessly! That beefed up Cummins motor didn’t even know it was there really.. I was impressed! Now braking … that’s another issue! 😂 all in all I was pleased with how it handled those huge hills and it was great to see how well it handled heavier loads as there will be more to come in the future for this truck! • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  2 роки тому

      Awesome man! Branson makes really good tractors! My only gripe with them is it’s hard to get parts or good dealer support at least where I’m at. But they are beasts of a machine that’s for sure! He ended up breaking the spline/shaft that comes out of the transmission to drive the 4x4.. and because the shaft broke it would cost him way too much money to fix.. but also he said he can’t find the parts he needs to fix it correctly anyways since it’s an older model so he just threw a ton of ballast on the back and has used it as a 2x4 tractor ever since.. it was a logging tractor for his logging company for many years and it’s done a TON of work for him. Congrats on your new purchase your gonna love that machine.. thanks for watching!

      Yah there’s def some downsides of a pole barn.. not having studs on the inside walls is a big one.. but the amount of money I’m saving in costs makes it the right choice for me.. the rest I can deal with over time
