Awesome tip with the tape trick for windows. Wow this actually looked a lot easier than I thought. I might as well try putting sound deadening mats in on the aluminum door while I’m already have the panel off and see if it helps with road noise lol
How’s the sound from the inside when it sucks the door in? And are the difference between v3 and v4 the waterproofing or more? Seeing another company also have 2 types of soft closing on that almost silent and the other making quite some noise. Great videos by the way👍🏻😊 Going to use this if I’m going with Hansshow

Nice trick but what I really need is a light behind the door handle so I don't have to hunt for it in the dark.
There are “self presenting” door handles kits with ambient lights. I have a kit I’ve been waiting to install myself.

Brian, Brian an idea! Can Tesla or Handsho activate the window to lower a little when the emergency handle is pulled? This would prevent damage to the trim when pulled by accident. Cool video😎👍🏻

There are times when I DELIBERATELY don't close the door all the way. Is there a way to temporarily disable the auto-close?

Great video. Please let me know when the Hansshow installer in the Charlotte area will be up and running . My girlfriend has a model Y with an early Hansshow power Frunk that no longer closes all the way. I’m sure it just needs an adjustment but I have no idea how to do it. We would love to come down and meet you and have this repaired.

Hasshow products fail way too easily. All the trunks trunks door handle soft close fails about 3-6 months after install and they dont cover labor for replacement

It might void a warranty claim around damage to the door related to opening or closing, or damage to the window or door frame from opening or closing, but it couldn't really void any other part of the warranty. Manufacturers can't void a warranty claim for using non-OEM parts unless they can show that the non-OEM part caused the issue in the first place.
*"Soft closing" is misleading.* Put a finger in between and you'll see that it isn't "soft" at all! (NO, DON'T DO IT, IT MAY COST U YOUR FINGER! SERIOUSLY!) It is a feature that should be forbidden, not added.
