The paper stripes on the Ferrari 312P were for cars with opening hoods or engine compartments. You could use the paper tape stripe to hold them closed when using the spinning wheels of spectraflame paint death, otherwise known as superchargers. That way the compartments would stay closed when being launched through them on their way around the track. Can't remember where they were packaged, like maybe as an accessory in the track sets and not in the actual car blister packs. I just know I had plenty of that for things like Firebird hoods and McClaren engine compartments back in the day.
LOL, I will just say, I know who sold those to you -- I personally played with those actual cars, and I can assure you we enjoyed them a lot back in the 1960s. We even had an indoor adventure game involving the Hot Wheels cars and plastic dinosaur figures.

Thought I should put one out per day when I have 3 that are 15 to 20 each. I've noticed multi videos really fall off on 2 and 3 when they all go up together. Maybe I should put them up in the 3 and then a week later post a full 45 version?
I got here from playing in my sons room with some hot wheels. He has this 70 Chevelle SS made from 98. I said man this has to be worth something. Absolutely nothing compared to this collection lmao. This is great.
I like to collect the cars of my childhood. You have several of them in this video, although none in the right color except for the chrome Collectors Club Boss Hoss. I would still have most of them but, not realizing what they would be worth, back in the early 90's, I let my kids play with them. Bad mistake. One day, when I got home from work, I discovered that my son was mad at me for something or other. He had taken the whole box of cars (something over a hundred of them) out to the sidewalk and was methodically flattening them with a brick! The last one he pulverized was my favorite and, as I understand it, what would be a very expensive car if it were new in the package (mine was in good condition but well played with), a purple Custom 442. Think I'll ever find another one that I can afford? Didn't think so. 😢
Love the sugar caddy. The only white int I have is my purple. And it was a nice try calling that python a cheeta. But it’s not red lol. That would be amazing to find one tho at a yardsale or something.. one can only dream lol
The demon was my favorite Hot wheel car when I was a kid I used to waste my friends all over town and I never lost., I had a blue one. 👍👍👍. I did say raced not waste. This phone makes me nuts 🤣

Those are gorgeous. I've been able to buy a few smaller collections but none like that.
