    Hi Dave... a lot of us Hot Wheels guys remember having a Batmobile... I think you should do a Husky, Corgi, Corgi jr. Batmobile, Batboat & travail Er, Batcopter video. I’ll bet not many know of all the difference between them...Thanx..!!!

      Thanks for the note. I never have more that one or two Batmobiles at a time. I do a video when I do get one and then someone talks me out of the Batmobile. I was half way planning to keep this one with the gray wheels but again someone asked for it and I said $99 in hopes they would say no but they bought it. The gray wheel model does seem to be very scarce. What do you think?

      @@HotWheelssalgeyardcustoms Hello - I prefer to deal in Mint in Box but I do have lower cost Matchbox with reproduction boxes that are in decent shape see this page: toycarcollector.com/matchbox_1_to_75_new_boxes.htm Typically anything that is worn is combined into a lot for say 10 models for $30 to $60. Thanks!

    You shouldn't need to remove the wheels to realign if you are using it properly, even with the large wheels.. but it's hard to explain in text. Used properly it won't jeopardize the bearing nibs. You are doing way too much prying, which is prone to making the nib pop off of the axle. IF that were to happen, you can extract the bearing from a good wheel to preserve the wheel.

    I always hope there's a #37 Coca-Cola Truck, but that's a rare model for some reason. I used to live on Coca-Cola Road before, and it's my favorite Matchbox car.

    Speaking of "rears of cars"... I think I see the rear of a super desirable Olds 442 (top left corner of screen) at 28:55.

    Hi Dave, what's the best way to clean spectraflame HWs? Just decades of exposure to dirty air and fingerprints. Will 70% alcohol harm them? And should they be waxed in some way to preserve them better? Thanks for your videos.

    • @toycarcollector
      @toycarcollector  8 місяців тому +1

      For used old hot wheels I just wash them in the sink with dish soap. Shake them off, wipe dry and put on a floor heater vent if you have one. A good breeze of warm air to completely dry. Wax is not recommended but I have been wanting to try some of that new detailing spray. I would only do that on low value redlines and any regular new hot wheels.
