    I don't normally comment on videos but i had to give you a massive thank you. The half twist on the straps made all the noise go away even on motorways. Thank you so much 😊

    OMG!!! You just saved our sanity! We almost threw our paddle boards off the car!!! 😊

      Hi, I tell this to everyone who says "omg", which is a lot of people. You don't have to misuse the word "God" when you speak. You can just as well write, "You just saved out sanity! We almost threw out paddle boards off the car!!! 😊" and convey the same message. Rest assured that people will understand what you say perfectly without the using the word "God" as though it's some insignificant expression one can use to intensify their message.
      Nowadays most people respond to even the most gentle of correction with curses and death threats. They don't know that it's possible to respond with, "Oh, I didn't even know I said it. Thanks for letting me know. It's just the way all my friends and family speak so I guess I just picked it up without even realizing it. I'll try not to say it from now on."
      I don't want to assume that you're one of the people who respond with curses and death threats, but because so many people are, let me say that there's no need to curse and threaten me with death. I've already received those kinds of responses from people and they don't work on me. I still try to help people speak without misusing the words "God", "Jesus" and "Holy".

    So happy to buy a new kayak yesterday, strapped it to the top of the Ute, noise started from 40 kph, travel 110kph, the noise was unbelievable! Happen to have earplugs and put them on, noise still unbelievable, feel like driving a F1 car.
    Grateful to found your video, can’t wait to try your method. Thanks

    Hi Bill, thx for the videos. I asked a question on painting video you did a while back but u havent seen it. I have vinyl wrap kitchen cabinets that I want to paint. I saw your video and would like to know if I'm safe to use the Zinsser primer then an aquanamel over it. Been looking at haymes ultratrim enamel and taubmans. I see u used Bristol from memory. I'm going to try spraying with a Wagner gun. Do u only ever use that water based enamel you used? Thx in advance

    • @billshowto
      @billshowto  4 роки тому +1

      Hi, sorry I haven’t seen your previous question. Regarding paints, I generally prefer water based paints ( faster dry time, easy to clean and low smell) particularly if I’m spraying. Depending on the texture and condition of the vinyl Zinsser followed by an enamel paint Should be fine but it’s always a good idea to do a small test in a hidden area first. Make sure the vinyl is all intact and not peeling away 👍

      @@billshowto hi Bill thx for the reply. No worries. I watched a video you did in Nov 18 and u used British paints H20 enamel. Would u still use this brand as I thought it was the cheaper brother to dulux. The vinyl is all in excellent condition. We just want a colour change. Regards
