Should add what they would be with speed build plus other skills that would boost speed like light weight hide, cause I guarantee pachy with lightweight and speed build is faster than a meg
Big issue with those numbers is, they don't take into account stam and trotting speed: allo and pycno seem to be as fast, but you'll sprint 3 times longer with a pycno, and once out of stam, you're still trotting way faster than an allo. So, even if those speeds seem close, they don't really reflect anything usefull in game.
The smaller dinos appear to run faster than the larger ones that are tied in speed because they have much smaller legs and therefore much smaller strides. They need to take more steps than the larger dinos, making them look like they're running faster because they're moving their legs more. Also, smaller dinos have lower cameras, so things like tufts of grass pass over your screen much faster than they would on a larger camera that catches a larger area. It's like Wraith compared to Gibby in Apex Legends. Gibby takes much larger strides and steps, making him feel slower and clunkier than Wraith, when, in reality, they run at the same speed.
It may be like that in apex but have you ever tried to catch something tiny on a apex? They can run circles around you even if the camera angles are different they still definitely faster
I'd definitely like to see that side by side race comparison, especially for the smaller dinos vs some of the bigger ones with the same/similar speeds.
There's a difference between speed and agility. I've seen Pachys easily get away from things like Pycno and Allo fairly easily. Because of its agility.
In speed ties stamina should be the deciding factor as a dinosaur with better stamina will be able to run for longer, can't wait to see this updated once more dinos are added/dinos are tweaked!
Bars is by far my favorite Apex. In my experience, I have far more fear factor as a Bars than as a Rex. Walked straight through SLL and no one bothered to attack me, most moved away from me. Sure, they're slow, but why do you need to be fast when pretty much no one will mess with you anyways?
Make a top 10 on; who would be the best dino with all the mobility stats combined? So with: Stamina, Turn Speed, Stamina Drain, Stamina Recovery, Weight, and maybe height? Because the fastest dino is not the best at speed if a 1400 speed would only have 100 stamina and a high stamina drain for example. So in that case a 1100 speed dio with 500 stamina and low stamina drain would be much better. Love your videos!
Super cool list, but it would be more helpfull if you would always show the stamina drain of each crerature in the HUD because it's also very important imo.
I think alio's low health doesn't really mean to much , it's playstyle isn't meant for killing adults, it's more of a juvie hunter, so it can kill stuff smaller than it and run from stuff bigger than it, overall very solid dino.
I've killed adults on my Alio. That being said, I've also been killed multiple times on my Alio. So...I guess it's a 50/50? Tbf most of the adults I've killed looked like they didn't know how to fight and thought I would be an easy kill.
Alio is very solid in a pack with any other dino because of its speed + stamina. If a dino runs away when low you can always chase it until its stamina is drained and keep track of him until your pack members catch up. You can even peck them a couple of times to keep it going, again until your pack mates get there and if they ran out of stamina they’re forced to stay and fight; done this a lot on my alio.
The fastest dinosaur in the game is between speed build struthi and eotrikes charge. Fastest trot speed in the game is Pynco 2nd fastest is speed build dasp
I'm wondering if it's the camera angle or something, but the Dasp looks substantially faster than the Sarco. I'd be interested in seeing some foot races lol
I've seen sarcos catch dasp idk if it's a speed build v defense build thing or what but I know dasp players that run full speed dasp and can outrun sarcos usually its pretty close tho
@@eazysaenz7509 Gotta remember from water Sarcos can speed boost to get the jump on things and in that window there are few things faster. Though that being an ability with a decent cooldown and how quickly they burn through stamina on land it's a very shortlived burst of speed.

I’m high rn but bear with me. There are a few oversights in this video. I’ll address them and your point below. First, only a number is being mentioned- this likely ties to the balanced species build, despite the speed species [if available] is being showcased. This number can be manipulated, and albeit being a good baseline to work off of, does not cover everything. On top of the speed species, it’s possible that the thin hide options are being used here as well. If I recall correctly, speed hides increase run speed and decrease defense by 10%. Paired with the speed species, this adds to approximately 15- starting to get noticeable. Third, in the case of Dasp and some others, another body part may also effect speed. Namely, Dasp can also change it’s tail attack to a Balanced Tail, which increases speed further at the cost of turn radius and defense. I don’t know the exact numbers, but balanced tail paired with the other attributed will make a Dasp considerably faster than normal. Tl;dr: not enough info but he steppin
i would love to see a ranked video of which dinos have the best bleed attack. Like how much damage does it do upfront, then how much damage per second, which one lasts the longest (if they don't all last the same amount of time).
I never played this game yet found myself watching countless videos about it and I love the game. If I had some spare cash I would buy it but sht, the struggle is real.
NGL the Sarco sprint speed triggers me. I already hate how it's the king Apex instead of Spino or Rex but the sprint speed is like a cherry on top. Damn thing can outrun/chase down both Spino & Rex, is so small that it's hard for them to hit, can bleed the holy hell out of both of them, can even out bite them (charged bite), its nimble in water, nimble enough on land, and it can take a hell of a beating. Lmao. I actually had an Adult Sarco chase down my juvi Spino for 45 mins. (No joke) I ran uphill to drain its stam, entered a forest, and etc and the Sarco kept chasing. Now I know why I couldn't lose it. Ultimately I saw 2 Rexs so I took a turn and ended up cornering myself so...the Adult Sarco got his Juvi meal. I just hope the Rex's got the Sarco as I screamed as loud as I could until it killed me.
Quikc question; Do you know if the speed of a Juveline dino is the same as a full grown adult dino? Or does is increase over time after growing and growing into the adult stage? I think this is the case because I got killed by a Allo as a Struth. Allo has 1100 speed and the Struth 1400 and the best stamina, but he kept on catching up to me.
