I want to see a Robot Chicken version where Palpatine yeets Yaddle off the ledge "Unlimited Power!" style while the Force theme was playing... seeing that would have floored me with laughter. Especially because I was reminded of Final Destination 2 seconds before.
His problem was that he wanted immediate change. He could have trained more Jedi to be like Qui-Gon and slowly changed the order from within, but he was impatient, because he saw all the suffering happening in the galaxy. I believe his goals were noble, but because he sought the quick and easy path, so to speak, he ended up causing far more harm than good.
The format for Tales of the Jedi with multiple short episodes is something they should consider continuing. It was a really effective approach to storytelling.
Video idea, What If Kenobi Skywalker and Palpatine died on the invisible hand trying to escape it? What would the following events look like? This is after killing Dooku on their way out.
The fact that they didn't have Yaddle use her Orange lightsaber was a big issue for me. If they are saying she stepped down from the counsel at this point as a result of some of Dooku's thoughts and ideas she should have the Orange Saber to represent some good/evil (or balance) in her beliefs of the force. She is one of a few Jedi that use such a color Saber and they need to be more open to using Canon Saber colors to represent such.
This series was so good... literally completes/compliments episodes 1-3, rebels and begins the new up coming Asoka series. Dooku choosing the dark side from this duel. But, I would like to know when his alliance start with palpatine, like sideous coming to him to recruit... surprise they didn't make an episode for this.
Against Yaddle, a being the same species as Yoda, we saw Dooku struggled to defeat her, despite being 10 years younger than in AOTC, when he faced his old master and looked to be stronger and faster than in Tales. The show is great at showing that, despite all, Dooku is one of the best duelist of his time, and with the dark side, he was able to rival Yoda in AOTC
In my fan fiction, while everyone is on Naboo for Qui Gon's funeral, my original character and his master (Pong Krell for those wondering) are approached by Jaro Tapal (Cal Kestis's master) who is looking for Yaddle to ask if it's true that she stepped down from the council and why? Jaro was a padawan of Yaddle, so he would want to know about that.
It was a very sad duel. Yaddle was very powerful, but not a duelist on the par of someone like Dooku. Now I wish to see more of Yaddle. If only the other Jedi were as compassionate and open-minded like her. Also, f**cking Sidious. God, he is an a**hole.
Definitely understood Dooku after seeing what happened to him. I remember him trying to convince Obi-Wan on Geonishia that the Jedi were being controlled. His fall to the darkside is all to familiar with a lot of Jedi.
Yaddle was foolish in her descion to try and turn dooku back to the light, she should of recorded the conversation and returned to her ship and give the information back to the jedi council however she was noble to try and turn him back to the light and also I loved her in that episode, shame she died so quickly maybe she'll be seen in future media set before this
I love this because they finally show how good of a duelist Dooku really is, and now we see him take down one of the most powerful Jedi. Can you make a video about who that inquisitor was in the final episode the voice sounded familiar but I couldn't find out who he was.
I love the tales of the Jedi but I was very disappointed that they did not utilize Yaddle traditional orange light saber from the extended universe. That was part of her character and she was one of the only wielders of an orange Lightsaber in the modern Jedi times that we saw. She also had a unique power called Morichro where she could use the light side of the force to drain the essence out of another living being she was also capable of purging items in places of Darkside energy and creating a light Side for shield of pure force energy
Count Doku is responsible for Qui-Gon Jinn's death, if he remained loyal to the Jedi order he could have stopped Palpatine upon discovery of his true nature and prevented the Darth Maul encounter entirely
that would only work under the condition to betray not only palpatine, but the jedi so they know he betrayed them, so at the end he would have no friends anyway the council didnt belive him before
Yaddle talks normal so I hope there will be a story to show what the hell happens to yoda or it’s that he is so old it’s actually some mental problems being held together by Jedi training and he is really the reason the counsel couldn’t see through the dark sides curtain
@@Peterkrack just read that Dave filoni says that Yoda speaks the way does because of the way his master talked. Would love a episode of a back story for his training days.
What if Anakin somehow found out that it was Dooku who killed Yaddle (probably from Papaltine). It would put his killing of Dooku in ROTS in a whole different context.
Now THIS is pretty cool! I hate to admit it, but I FINALLY prefer a disney version over the Lucas era version. Sadly, in just this ONE case, this Disney version is NOT canon, it’s B-level legends. Lucas era is true canon, and even Lucas era LEGENDS is above Disney, as A-Legends.
The problem with these episodes it it retcons dooku a origins in the novels. In novels which is cannon, it said he is not drawn to the sith until after qui gons death. So this totally rewrites another characters story again
I was frustrated that such a powerful Jedi Master like Yaddle had such a flippant death. In Legends, she dies saving Anakain and an entire planet from a Bioweapon. This felt like she died to serve as a transitional moment for Dooku. I don't like that. Yaddle has gotten such a raw deal in Star Wars and I wanted to see something better for her in TOJ.
Yaddle’s death, while tragic and dark, could have been argued by Dooku as necessary. After all, what would happen if the Jedi Order knew the truth? He and Palpatine would be arrested and killed while their political allies suffer. There would be some positive changes at least like the Senate reigning in the megacorporations. But that might just push the corporations further from the Republic. Maybe they would then take a cue from the Trade Federation and fight back with force. The Senate, unable to defend itself without a military, concedes and things are right back to where they are. Now, I have to wonder what made Dooku go from killing two old friend, one a Jedi Master and the other his best friend, not to mention accept the death of his pupil, to getting some of the worst people in the galaxy on his side. Sure, he thought with the most evil people in the CIS, they would fall with it and the new Sith Empire would reign without corruption, brutality, and inequality. But still, that seems like a major leap between the Dooku forced to kill his friends and the Dooku who makes the perfect military to commit war crimes in a regular basis. He also had to hide and cover up these atrocities from Separatist citizens and senators throughout the war. Not to mention he ordered all clones be implanted with inhibitor chips to wipe out the Jedi. What the hell happened to him? He may have gotten a little greedy and power hungry, but his motivations were still the same! Did he really fall to the Dark Side as bad as Anakin did? Anakin was a guy with similarities to Dooku, but he also had his own personality issues as stated by other UA-camrs. Dooku on the other hand seems purer than Anakin and yet may be responsible for as much death and suffering as his successor. What happened to make him hire General Grievous, make deals with the Separatist Council, and ensure the clone troopers temporarily become mindless killing machines?
Anakin did _not_ murder Windu. Windu was killed by Sidious. Anakin didn't throw the failed Jedi Master out the Window, Palpatine did that. He was in control the entire time. He could have killed Windu at any time. And did.
Still another kill that seems like yaddle had shown to us at least she wanted to run away but didn’t and dies for no reason. Maybe palps would have zapped her in the air or something but more effort vs death also also….. yaddle doesn’t seem to disappear but when Asoka kills that inquisitor like a bitch his head disappears and I really hoped that would be her teacher since the helmet didn’t look human but it turned into nothing but Asoka is hard core until she is live action and close up

He clearly wanted to kill her, stop trying to symphasise with selfish people
its true thats why palpatine ass was laughing in the back he knew dooku was conflicted
remember Dooku didn't hate the Jedi like Sidious, he just had them as obsticles and saw them not as evil but as blind

@@kipkak80 he didn’t know she was there and they thought she was dead she could of gotten away when the coast was cleared
@@TheMissingno exactly my point it’s not like she was stupid but she was caught up in thinking “I can turn him “
Dont mind me just thought i mention Andor and you need to watch it. I know that its got nothing to do with this video but you know its great and if a show is great people are gonna watch it right but not enough people are.
6:00
aaaw sh the green screen went wack post processing
he ripped that footage from someone else on youtube doing commentary HAHAHAH
I want to see a Robot Chicken version where Palpatine yeets Yaddle off the ledge "Unlimited Power!" style while the Force theme was playing... seeing that would have floored me with laughter. Especially because I was reminded of Final Destination 2 seconds before.
They should of had a episode of Dooku And Mace sparring lightsabers with one another and Dooku either tying with him or besting him.
If dooku would have lived later i think he would become a close friend to Luke, remain in the light and become a teacher at looks academy
He became exactly what he feared, and this is fascinating because he's so similar to Anakin but even Mace to some extent.
Loved the episodes with dooku
Qui Gon had similar views towards the Jedi and the Republic as Dooku. Unlike Dooku, Qui Gon didn’t seek to make changes through violence
It was awesome. I hope we do get more
The format for Tales of the Jedi with multiple short episodes is something they should consider continuing. It was a really effective approach to storytelling.
I much prefer Yaddle’s legends death, but it was still good.
Just realised that Dooku's lightsaber hilt was shaped to give him an edge against shorter opponents sweeping his legs.
This was great and the story of Dooku was great. Keep up the good work.
He murdered Yaddle! That is unforgivable!
Dooku should've been a stand alone series similar to the bad batch.
Dave filoni nerfed and watered down her in the eu she has an ability that could kill dooku
Definitely understood Dooku after seeing what happened to him. I remember him trying to convince Obi-Wan on Geonishia that the Jedi were being controlled. His fall to the darkside is all to familiar with a lot of Jedi.
A very sad story 😢
Yaddle was foolish in her descion to try and turn dooku back to the light, she should of recorded the conversation and returned to her ship and give the information back to the jedi council however she was noble to try and turn him back to the light and also I loved her in that episode, shame she died so quickly maybe she'll be seen in future media set before this
I love this because they finally show how good of a duelist Dooku really is, and now we see him take down one of the most powerful Jedi. Can you make a video about who that inquisitor was in the final episode the voice sounded familiar but I couldn't find out who he was.
It reminds me when Luke vs Vader on the second Death Star
This series should be called, “Paths of the Jedi”.
I clicked on this video just to say I read the title as "Why Yueku doodling Daddle is a big deal." I just wanted to share that.
Damn you had a stroke 😂
I love the tales of the Jedi but I was very disappointed that they did not utilize Yaddle traditional orange light saber from the extended universe. That was part of her character and she was one of the only wielders of an orange Lightsaber in the modern Jedi times that we saw. She also had a unique power called Morichro where she could use the light side of the force to drain the essence out of another living being she was also capable of purging items in places of Darkside energy and creating a light Side for shield of pure force energy
I kinda felt for Dooku in this series, Mace is kind of a J O.
Mace came off as such a lap dog which it really represented the way the Jedi order was heading
now we only need an animated series of luke in the period between ESB and ROTJ
Count Doku is responsible for Qui-Gon Jinn's death, if he remained loyal to the Jedi order he could have stopped Palpatine upon discovery of his true nature and prevented the Darth Maul encounter entirely
I thought that as well
that would only work under the condition to betray not only palpatine, but the jedi so they know he betrayed them, so at the end he would have no friends anyway
the council didnt belive him before
He wasn't powerful enough for that. Palpatine could have easily killed Dooku had he thought it necessary.
Qui Gon with that Arnold chest 💪
Brilliant.
Justified.
Qui Gon Jinns death inadvertently lead Anakin and Dooku down to the darkside
I think Dooku was right and ultimately got what he wanted. The martyrdom seems to have surprised him, but ultimately the republic was indeed renewed
Ahsoka is certainly a very popular character, but Dooku stole the show 100%.
I think ashoka is boring
@@alsimmonshellspawn6021 lol fair enough
I think that he definitely could’ve chosen the other path. Talking to the council with Yaddle to support him could have made a huge difference.
I was like "Who the fuck is that missing teeth guy?" LMAO
Dooku’s death scene hits harder now he had seen the scene before
She could have end Sidious's plan by reporting back to council Kamino and clones
The fills in a lot of gaps
Definitely justified in his goals
Loved tale of hedi, but I would've loved to see dooku and ahsoka meet
Yaddle talks normal so I hope there will be a story to show what the hell happens to yoda or it’s that he is so old it’s actually some mental problems being held together by Jedi training and he is really the reason the counsel couldn’t see through the dark sides curtain
Lol yeah, maybe he has a speak impediment.
It would at least cover Grogu from so talk like this he should not
@@Peterkrack just read that Dave filoni says that Yoda speaks the way does because of the way his master talked. Would love a episode of a back story for his training days.
Every episode just jumps like 50 years or so for 12 episodes
What if Anakin somehow found out that it was Dooku who killed Yaddle (probably from Papaltine). It would put his killing of Dooku in ROTS in a whole different context.
Now THIS is pretty cool! I hate to admit it, but I FINALLY prefer a disney version over the Lucas era version. Sadly, in just this ONE case, this Disney version is NOT canon, it’s B-level legends. Lucas era is true canon, and even Lucas era LEGENDS is above Disney, as A-Legends.
this is canon bro
@@kipkak80 canon to the Disney era lovers my star wars canon is George Lucas 1-6 and the eu
Always knew Dooku was evil, for me the Ahsoka episodes were the highlight! (Who was the assassin?)
Right??? Who the hell was that??
Probably most likely a rouge jedi turned to the dark
It was an Inquisitor. As to which one, I’m not sure it’s specified.
Did she get squished by the door or did she get shut outside. If I was her and was shut outside then I would have flown away
The problem with these episodes it it retcons dooku a origins in the novels. In novels which is cannon, it said he is not drawn to the sith until after qui gons death. So this totally rewrites another characters story again
Dooku played by Nicholas Cage, Wuigon played by Kevin Sorbo
well dooku got his karma in ep 3 so 🫣
Not to change the subject but who is that person at 6:02
Dang Yaddle's crystal is his sith crystal....sad duel
I really hope they reconsider and krep this show going
Maybe palps would have zapped her in the air or something but more effort vs death also also….. yaddle doesn’t seem to disappear but when Asoka kills that inquisitor like a bitch his head disappears and I really hoped that would be her teacher since the helmet didn’t look human but it turned into nothing but Asoka is hard core until she is live action and close up
What Star Wars series do they get these clips from
The road to hell is paved in good Intensions
So does that mean that dookus sith crystal came from Yaddles saber? He must’ve bled it
So, who is the dude @6:00?
I don't think Dooku made the correct choice.... but I think He honestly believed His decision to be the right one.
I still don't understand what exactly makes the council corrupt.
I need my own, personal corruption arc. Any Sith Lords out there?
5.58 what is he saying i tried figuring it out but can't
