Man you are incredible, I'm a beginner in this logistics world I have too many months working in a forwarder company in the Sales area and your videos makes me to learn to fast. I'm from México and my lenguage is Spanish... The logistics videos from UA-cam in Spanish haven't information and there are terrible if want to learn something. Thanks for help people like me
Valid points , nicely summerized . As an advice for beginners avoid bigger forwarding firms such as KN , DHL etc. for entry level jobs , salary & your chance for promotion will be low due to high replacement capability of employees , do apply them for mid managerial positions if you got the experience.
Hi.INNO . Hope you are doing good !! Thank you for sharing,i'm a junior operating agent, i work with a freight forwarder in morocco/Casablanca , i want to know more about Freight forwarders, i like your videos a lot please make a video explaining Incoterms. Happy to watching your smart videos
Hello. I am a Spanish of 31 years old whit a postgrade in international trade. I want to work in forwarding, that's why I studied what I did. But after 3 years since I started working I can't get an entry job. Situation in Spain is really hard whit unemployment of 20% of the population mostly on my age range. Can I ask you : what entry level work shall I apply to have more chances? Is there any country which would give me more chances that Spain that you could advice me? I got the postgrade, good level of English, still too low of Japanese and of course native Spanish. Shall I expand my studies to work as forwarder? Please, if you can help It would make a difference on my life becouse Spanish situation is really hard and it's been very thought for me
@@jeffinkj3045 thank you, I'm still looking for work in this industry. Maybe expanding my education or looking in another country. In mine, looks like there is no chances
I don't have the knowledge of the forwarder in Spain but I think the logistics people is not enough in the market. but if you request very high salary but not experience, it will be quite tough.
Try acquiring more knowledge customs clearance. Do a specialisation/course, whatever you can get your hands on for free. In the meantime educate yourself on the customs process in the UK (trade agreement withe EU) and US (bond). I think you will have a cutting edge and will be abble to start in the customs department of a freight forwarding company and go your way up from there.
I had worked as a CSR in a freight forwarding company for almost 5 years in the US. It’s a very stressful job. 😖😖😖. Fast paced work environment, also need to be multi tasking.
I worked as a freight forwarder in one of the most popular companies in this industry. Quite a high salary (for my country) and good compensation package, but I was putting in 60-65 hrs a week. No work - life balance. If I kept going, I would probably end up sick and with health problems. I ended up quitting after few months.
