Nancy Ames is still alive at 81 years old. She was really funny in this video and, of course, beautiful. Would bet she still has that sense of humor today.
Her Latin Pulse was applied to a popular hit song, sang it in Spanish. (1, 2, 3, it's so easy . . .)
Jack Cassidy had so much charisma. Thus, he was a gifted artist, all the way from The Actors Studio and throughout the golden Hollywood movie era. Thank you. Johnny, Montréal, Canada 🇨🇦
Jack loved bowling. He was on the
Hollywood Hornballs. His teammates were Bob Crane, Desi Arnaz and Richard Dawson
“Smoking candles?!” Just love Allen Ludden's interjections whenever there’s a dud guess to a clue.
Jack Cassidy was a good-looking man. No wonder his sons turned out the same way, especially David Cassidy!
Yup they all did, Sean looks like him mom, I think.
David was Jack's twin.
Nancy and Jack were good players.
Jack and his son David had an identical way of holding their mouth when they grinned or smiled. 11:30 The series discussed was "He and She", and it ran for one season for 26 episodes, starring Richard Benjamin, Paula Prentiss, and Jack Cassidy.
You can hear the bell in the tape echo long before they answer correctly!
David Cassidy aus den 3 Columbo Filmen. Danke
🦋 Nancy Ames so reminds of the actress Natasha Henstridge ! Their mannerisms are so alike.
That was The Week that Was......she so gr8 on it.
that was a really fun episode, thanks for the upload
Any show with Jack Cassidy is a good one.
Sometimes the rhythm of Nancy Ames's speech is a lot like that of Elizabeth Montgomery's.
Nancy Ames is such a classy lady, her style and the way she carries herself I'd ❤to see her with her hair down
love
Jack
Jack Cassidy always did come off as "Blustery & Arrogant"
Robust is word rarely used in 2021.
For the word "vanity", my clue would have been "Cassidy".
He was a very talented actor. Good in anything he appeared in.
When l watched the documentary by David Cassidy right before his death, he made it sound like he didn’t get much notice from his dad. Especially once he had the sons with Shirley Jones. And I saw when they were on an interview program together. And Jack seemed very condescending about David’s career. I felt bad for David. 🦋
8:30 Matching dress and shoes.
John Alfono was hot - nice smile too.
Why did they always seem to have so much trouble with those chairs/seats??
I also have noticed that. It almost seems dangerous.
in the lightning round for 'soldiers I was saying 'Onward' 'Christian'....
19:41 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Can anyone else hear the bell before the bell (when the right answer is given)?
No
to summarize an otherwise lengthy explanation it's bleedthrough caused by excessive use and re-use of the tape.
'exhaust' >> FUMES
This is the second time I've seen "robust" as a password on this show in the '60s. In both episodes, it's clear that people used the word differently then from how it's used now. Of course, nowadays, "robust" gets the most use from bureaucrats who think it will make them sound smarter than if they just say "strong", even though "robust" doesn't have quite the meaning they think it has and "strong" is closer to their meaning.
Most of these celebrities don't care how much money they win for their partner. They basically just wanna beat the other celebrity.
Thank you for reading their minds and telling us what you found out.
Very true some are just manic in their desire to win !!!
Nancy WHO?
AMES
Did black people never play this game ? Just wandering hadn't seen any play , seen them in the audience.
There were a few. Sammy Davis Jr. You probably don't know who he was.
So far I've seen one half black celebrity contestant and one black average-person contestant.
Good point, now that you mention it, I've been watching all the episodes and can only recall a couple. Sammy Davis Jr. and a football player on an episode that had NFL stars and Ballet dancer stars. Frank Gifford was the celebrity.
