Not sure if running double special was the best choice here, but it did help with dealing with the Wyverns in the second area, which was the only real pain point I remember when running this before. Maybe just a regular primary would be better than Mountaintop though, and then you wouldn't have to juggle ammo adn speed a lot of other sections up. Either way, it's straightforward enough.
It's also kind of weird the naming conventions and locked loadout rules for a lot of these missions. Most of the legacy exotic missions do have locked loadouts, for example Vexcalibur which didn't in the past - but then this one doesn't. They also don't seem to follow the same naming rules of expert vs legend either, so I don't know. Feels like these are kind of forgot about.

The lack of matchmacking or even FTF for Avalon and Starcrossed is frustrating. I haven't beat Avalon and was definitely challenged by Starcrossed on Standard.
If possible for you, the legacy fireteam finder on the Destiny app will find you a group to do these activities.

Here’s a few questions I have for you Eso, if you don’t mind answering:
1) This solar Hazardous Propulsion build, is it a seasonal build or one that you foresee as being viable and one you’ll use for a while?
2) Viable alternative to the bonk build?
3) Any thoughts/plans on Prismatic Titan?
4) What inspiration do you draw on for your drip? I feel like you’re very Eldritch, given your Warlock is a flayer and your Titan is a big monster, but I gotta know lol.
1) You only really loose Solar Fulmination for a bigger Ignition Radius and Unstoppable Sidearm (Since he is rocking the Solar Rocket Sidearm) + Radiant on orb pickup. The only thing that is really nice out of this is Fulmination but next season you get something else that is really good so you can definitely stick to this build if you like it.
2) If you mean titan+melee then the alternative is Strand Banner of War with Synthoceps or Wormgods or Prismatic Titan with Concecraction + class item that has synthoceps spirit and immost light. A 3rd option for GMs in particular (or Master Raids) would be Peregrine Greaves on Void Titan since it one shots champs
3) Not sure what you mean by that? Like if he is going to play prismatic titan?
The build should be fine in future seasons, the only thing that really helps it is the artifact mod, but even without those it'll still be very strong.
Consecration build is pretty much a better version of the bonk build atm, although it performs even better with a syntho/hoil class item, so it's a little annoying to get. Even with base syntho though, it's still very strong, and probably the strongest solo build in the game at the moment. Which pretty much answers thoughts on prismatic titan, but for me I don't find it fun to play, so I'll probably look for more ranged options, rather than the same consecration build.
I just like things that made me laugh at some point, usually some weird mask and then build around that. Titan is calus themed, so big chunky armour. Warlock is a space alien, hence the mind flayer helm (previously was the fallen ornaments), and the DSC armour fits well with that. Hunter just with the monkey or bird masks

Hahahaha, I remember annihilating the boss with anything that had antibarrier, including radiant. You could literally use Sleeper, Whisper, Polaris Lance (this one was a joke) just having radiant. Hunters were too easy because with the jump ability you get radiant and then you could extend it by landing crits. Arbalest could go through, Wishender...Bungie 'fixed' the wall like 4 times, there were updates in the patch notes about this wall where they said it was fixed and you still could get through and eventually they gave up, put a concrete wall and that's it lol
So I don't know if it's just me but why is this mission so much easier than well... Any of the other legendary missions? It didn't take me a moment of thinking, my first time playing it was a few days ago and I died like twice due to me just being a dunce.

Bonk titan was the reason i played this game for so long. I cant belive what they did to it. Was it strong ? Of course but isnt that the point of these super powerful fantasy feeling games ? Ill never understand nerfing stuff in a pve game. Like who gives a shit if its strong against a.i. ? This game in no way is competitive to be nerfing so much stuff so often.
Not only was bonk spam strong, it was low risk and easy to execute. Tractor cannon and synthoceps made it out damage 90% of loadouts.
Not all PvE games are meant to be easy, especially endgame activities in said games that are meant to test your skill.
The danger of power creep in PvE is that the game becomes more restrictive if you aren’t using the best of the best as the game inevitably becomes balanced around the existence of those features.
Questions like “who gives a shit if it’s strong against a.i.” are ill informed for reasons like this, and probably more reasons that an official game designer can tell anyone.
@@DarthDookieMan so the melee spam hunter is totally fine ? Ok pal. There are way more broken builds than bonk titan now. Even concencration spam titan is way stronger now there was no reason to nerf titan like that. There was not reason to nerf strand titan for that matter

Since from Solar 3.0 in Haunted (2nd Season of the Witch Queen) to Season of the Wish (last Season of Lightfall, nearly a year and a half apart) Bonk Titan was supreme, only surpassed by Banner of War Berserker in its prime.
