      @@andromedaresearchlabs7826 would I be able to use this for CAS cloning as well ,, I have a mini R60 with intermittent CAS issues ,, I reset with my diag tool then after 1 or two drives it will lock out again ,, I think the fix will be to buy a used CAS module and replace it with my current one ,, ofcourse will need to clone and program the 2 key fobs ,, never done it this kind of programming before..

    ecm, bcm, and the like have came into there own. you have to know how to do these types of things to separate yourself from the pack. The time is now to know this knowledge.

    Would you be able to manually edit in the correct mileage without guessing on the gm cluster?

    • @andromedaresearchlabs7826
      @andromedaresearchlabs7826  Рік тому +1

      Yes, in most cases GM clusters store mileage as a binary integer (sequence of hex bytes). If you convert desired decimal mileage to hex you can enter the mileage you wish.

    Hello man, can you help me... still go crazy, i need to clone a cluster (mileage and immobilizer) in a jaguar x-type, cause the original cluster too old... I buy one used and looking perfectly but the car doesn't start... Which one is the eeprom and how to copy it?! Thanks a lot, if you need same picture about that I will send you! Please help me..🍻🍻🍻

      Send a photo of the cluster circuit assembly as an attachment to our email (arlabs@fuse.net). If there are parts on both sides send clear photos. We must be able to read the part numbers.

    my daughter bought a 2012 chevy cruze that the used dealer swapped the cluster on and it dosent show mileage. what would i need from arlabs to program the vin into the cluster without having the old cluster?

    • @andromedaresearchlabs7826
      @andromedaresearchlabs7826  Рік тому

      First you want to confirm that the cluster does indeed have an accessible eeprom part. If so you can use Automotive Kit#1 to read the eeprom data and edit the VIN. If the dealer swapped the cluster hopefully the mileage is stored in another module otherwise this is a true mileage unknown vehicle. You edit the VIN using the same procedure shown in the video.
      The link to Automotive Kit#1 is here: www.arlabs.com/automotive_kits.html#kbc1
      You might also consider purchasing a salvage cluster to play with before you pull the cluster from your daughters car.

      @mikesilveira8114 Рік тому

      @@andromedaresearchlabs7826 Also its my understanding that the mileage is stored in the ecm. do you know how to access that or do you think once the vin matches it will pull it over?

    Hello do you clone VW instrument clusters? My cluster is going haywire and Germany dont make my cluster any more.

    • @andromedaresearchlabs7826
      @andromedaresearchlabs7826  Рік тому

      If the cluster retains the mileage information in an eeprom memory part then it can be cloned into a salvage cluster.

      @SGTrucks Рік тому

      @@andromedaresearchlabs7826 yes it still has the mileage on it and everything. Info just needs to be cloned or transferred

    Hi there, I'm trying to connect to my eeprom from 2018 subaru crosstrek. Chip is a tiny 8 pin SMD component with markings on it as follows: RH8 62 QB any idea what type of a chip is it? Im using a USB to CH341A Programmer adapter and software. I cant find that chip on the list. Not sure if it is 24 type or 25 type. Could you help please?

      The RH86 is in the support list for our products. The part is likely a 93C86.
