At the moment the season is pretty dry since there is no raid to grind
transmog can be completely free its only armor we have payed for and earned in the past that they then made unusable for many sets and now are going to charge to have access to again ; its not like we can get armor out of it we never earned

Yeah the other thing is Bungie doesn’t have shareholders so this is even more of a “where the heck is all this money going to”.

I bet Mithrax is actually the last defender of the city in Lakshmi's vision and he sacrifices himself to protect the traveler's chosen and is brought back to start the Eliksni's new golden age as a light bearer! Holy crap I hope that happens, that'd be amazing
An Eliksni Guardian? That doesn't sound possible, but it'll be interesting if it does
@@somehelluvafanboy8357 the traveler abandoned them for some unknown reason. Maybe seeing one of those he abandoned fervently fighting to protect it would make it change it’s mind and give them the powers of the light
I could see that happening, and in doing so Mithrax fulfills the Kell of Kells prophecy the Eliksni have
I'm totally for this idea! I've loved the Fallen since I first saw one crawling up a wall in the opening minutes of Destiny 1. Would love to get them as a playable character.

Lakshmi's va is one of my favorite actors period. I've never seen her give a bad performance, the first thing I remember seeing her in was X-Men Last stand and even in that dumpster fire she was great
She was AMAZING in Mass Effect
The way they have handled Splicer and Chosen with the way the story is integrated and structured makes me REALLY excited for how they are going to take this structure and evolve it for an expansion sized and budgeted experience in The Witch Queen
I miss the weekly videos. Glad we still get some content though. And quality content at that.
Please can people like this video to make this podcast grow bigger, I rate these two highly for years. The content has always been incredibly well produced.

If the raid is an attempt to assault Savathun's Throne World, I believe we will see her evolved and mutated Hive form in all it's glory. But in the story of Witch Queen I suspect she will conceal herself and the story will be a sort of mystery.

I like the fluid narrative, but I miss “story missions”
Same. It looks like Bungie is trying to be more efficient with their content creation. That's why BL's campaign included Empire Hunts, strikes, and lost sectors. Or that Presage was built for multiple runs with different dialogue and hidden caches. They don't seem to want to waste time on one and done missions that don't have replayability outside of reliving the story.

I think Creator Chat and Firing Range are the best, most relevant Destiny casts around. You guys are more so my favorite because you talk about lore and PvE much more which are my main interests. Hoping to have much more to look forward to in the future, even if it is just one per season! :D

Say what you will about Stasis, I still love that it has essentially broken the 4th wall, and become an ARG in how the community has become a mirror of the tower. The argument of whether guardians should use stasis or not, and the few characters who see the balance that can be found in it.
Never thought about it like that. Not sure if its intentional or not, but it's certainly interesting to think about. Especially with so many that are advocating for an out right ban on stasis in pvp.

The Legends tab has dungeons listed too. I wouldn't be surprised if the Dreaming City is on a deadline. If we kill Quaria and then the DC is broken or freed or whatever and gets thrown into the DCV
Most probably, Mara will probably put a ban on guardians entering the city once we save it from this curse.
@@yashugoyal1772 I'm thinking we save it from the curse and then Savathuun moves in and wipes everything we know about it out. So your Dreaming City will be a Nightmare's Quarter if you will.

I honestly didnt notice Ikora Rey had a new voice actress. Amazing work.
In terms of loot what I would love to see is more archetypes, and more variation similar to borderlands style weapons, so you could get an auto rifle with a grenade barrel under it, or a handcannon that fires two bullets like wardens law, bungie needs to bring things like this to the table because then they make different combinations of perks you can get in a certain archetype
Lots of larger enemies freeze but don't stop moving. Just do that for guardians.
Perks to me are what can help them without sunsetting ,having different guns that have a perk or perk combo unique to them make it stand out in a game where we will just more guns every 3 months
They should move the prophecy dungeon from the tower to the legends tab with Vog

@@LegiamasC-OnTwitta yeah, but that’s vaulted content. prophecy isn’t vaulted and neither are its siblings. It’s the newest dungeon out of three, it only came out last year. Dungeons (right now) haven’t been vaulted yet, so there’s no reason to move it.

It was actually way before that
I haven't had to spend a penny on transmog, nor have I had to grind at all. The free ones you get from the intro quest was more than enough for me and I've only done a couple of bounties and I've only done them for activities I was already going to do. I grab one before a raid or a few nightfall runs.
24:00 I have done the mission thrice. One time alone and two times together with friends who we’re going through it their first time.
feels like the story may actually get more interesting for the first time in a while, and thats huge for a lot of people. the story has been kinda just here and there nothing that felt major. but now shit feels like its the old stuff weve been waiting on with the crow and like friendly fallen. I hope Mara Sov makes a comeback so we can find out what she has been doing this whole time. im excited for the story and where it seems to be going.

I don’t know why but i kinda thought we might hear from the ishtar scientist copies cause in the aspect lore book they took over vex frames right so they would be in the vex network (i kinda assumed there so *shrugs* my mistake if thats not how it works) they would have to and tell us about vog and thats why we are returning there. It might still happen or not (i doubt it) but oh well.
You guys touched on Savathun's appearance and its killing me because I heard she isnt the boss for Witch Queen and now I'm wondering if she'll be the boss in Lightfall.

I personally find it amusing that Lakshmi believes our Guardian would ever allow her to turn the entire power structure of the City upside down for her own gain.
On the crucible talk, I practically slam my head into a wall until I get a decent game.
Once again as a player who is playing for lore this season is amazing

I don't understand why people are so plussed about Stasis. Does everyone forget what happened when we got the 3rd subclass? When we got subclass trees? Did they forget about nearly ALL titan melees or Warlock voidwalker tracking grenade?
I wanna see the 5-way freeze video.
Bungie seems to like making the aspects and fragments, they should focus on the light based subclasses

I guess I need to say this. I know someone who works in the industry. They heard bungie canceled creating a new engine for implementing battle eye. They’re out of money and the transmog system was supposed to be a great revenue stream. If this is why it was so bad it could have been communicated but at the end of the day it should have been a free system
What I will say about this season, Is that the bad aspects seriously out weighs the good. Loot system is definitely getting better but crucible is still in shambles.(loot still needs to get better). Story telling is finally coming together and it is improving in quality. But bungie tries to pull off this transmog situation. Then we havent gotten a crucible match in LONG time. Strikes are not nearly as rewarding as d1 strikes. The list goes on.
On the crucible side. They dont need a non stasis playlist. They need an extremely reduced ability playlist.
Make a playlist with set (very slow) ability and super timers. No way to speed them up.
I think Quaria might end up being an ally. She reached out to us (maybe?) in the dreaming city lore. I think we will ally with her potentially to break the curse. I was under the impression that she isn't a willing participant necessarily.
Im curious what faction we'll fight next week. Week 1 was cabal, week 2 is hive. Are we going to fight house devils in week 3 and lakshmi-2 will use that to instill more distrust in house light.

Very true, also I have an out there theory that she learned the power of necromancy and created the endless night to obtain Touch of Malice. And use that to try and rid her of her worm
Plot twist, Savathun had been Taox in disguise all along.
