Salted butter when cooking. Unsalted butter when baking.

Just saw this video, lots of fun watching! Those glass salt and pepper grinders are refillable please do not throw them away!! They are a little tricky to open the 1st time but once you get the hang of it you are golden. Happy Shopping!

This is my first time watching your videos. I want to let you know that lot of things that you bought at Walmart you could get for free or extremely cheap if you coupon. It’s very worth it and especially with a family of 7.

To help your carrots last longer rinse and store in a mason jar covered with water (also works for celery). Last so much longer.

I use the mainstays gallon clear storage container from Walmart for my baking flour, sugar, oats, etc. They are only like $5 each and it fits a 5# bag of flour in it, just have to shake it side to side gently when the last part of the bag goes in, it doesn't look like it will fit but it does perfectly!! Lol

For my flour and baking things I use the Mason brand craft and more 3 piece pop up canisters. They sell them at bed bath and beyond which is nice since you can use the 20% off coupons. They also sell them on Amazon in a 4 piece for a little more. I have noticed that they sometimes carry them in TJ Maxx and Marshalls individually. They work great! EDIT: for seasonings pick them all up at Aldi next time- ive heard they are actually McCormick in Aldi packaging. I buy them now and they are very good and for about a dollar you can’t beat it!

Lol! Love that you tried to put the groceries in someone else’s cart. Totally done it 😂 love Aldi. I use Tupperware brand containers and I love them. I have big containers for flour, sugar and bread flour and canisters for cereal, crackers and more. They are expensive but I bought them 15-20 years ago and they look brand new. I bring ice packs and cooler bags for my monthly shopping because you gotta buy it when you can go to the store especially with four stores.

As you were in Meijer grabbing things I was hello g at my tv you can get that at Aldi cheaper. The Aldi bread is less than a dollar a pack here. Their freezer bags are cheap. Pie crust at Aldi is usually around 2.00 a box. But for butter we always get unsalted. We use it mainly for baking.

Rao’s is the best marinara that my family has ever tasted. It’s a bit pricey but worth it! The basil one is our fav!

We spend 1300-1500/month for a family of 7 but several things contribute to that: we have some food allergies, we buy 99% organic and whole foods, very little packaged processed items and that budget includes a monthly co-op order for dry and bulk goods as well as slowly and steadily building long term food pantry with each grocery haul. I shop primarily Aldi and Costco and then we get a handful of things from Sam's, Amazon and Azure. Buying organic is an investment in our health but it does all add up fast!

I buy 2 red, orange and yellow peppers as well as 4 green and I use my valdelia chopper. I bag them up and I have chopped mixed bell for about 3 months to add to my dishes when I cook.
