The backbowl catwalks are enjoyable for taking in the amazing scenery of the bowls which is a rare thing for intermediate skiers. I guess its not all about shredding for some of us.
Would be nice if Vail could do something about the bottom of Poppyfields, where so much traffic funnels together. Seems to me like it could be improved if it was re-graded, so it isn't this long stretch of sidehill, with everyone being pushed over to the same side.

Fair enough!

I think a second catwalk cut into the west side of the bowl would help, since right now it's super narrow and only on the east side of the creekbed.
You should make a haters guide to Vail next! I’ve skied here a lot and would love to see you expose Vail haha
Coming soon!
I’ve skied Vail just over 20 times and there’s not much to expose other than the lift lines on the weekends
I've gotta disagree with that, personally
Vail is a great ski hill. I wish all people that were complaining would just stay home.
Nice! What would you say is the easier of the runs of these section ?
Easiest of the back bowls are gonna be Poppyfields East and West
@@SRGSkiing thank you!

I took the journey to Outer Mongolia for my first powder experience. Can guarantee you the sleepy time out there is boring and exhausting
To each his own 😉
yonder and yonder gully is my sh* as a snowboarder that isn't about the cat walks
Need more skiing and less navigating, we are not pirates just ski the damn run
Mate what do you think this video is? If you want to just watch people skiing, there's plenty of other channels for that.
