Your hair is back! I think your hair grows fast as someone who has fast growing hair, so everyone says. I also believe most people get the best growth after they cut their hair. It grows fast because it not weighed down by dead ends or breaking because of split ends. Trimming your ends allows your hair strands to breathe.

Your hair looks absolutely beautiful and healthy! Thats exactly how I feel too! I want both curly and straight hair. I want to switch it up. Why cant we have both ? And healthy ? I've skipped straightening my hair for about 4 months now and ready to go back ! I dont know why its so difficult. But it is...thank you for sharing !

I understand your “I want both!” Statement so much! I go back and forth but try to limit the straightening because I worked so hard to get my curls to where they are. It’s such a struggle! Why can’t we have both 🤯🤯

Girl!! Your length retention is bomb. I don't even manipulate my hair as much as you do and it just seems like my hair it's going the opposite way 😅 I gotta get back into the supplements maybe that's what my hair is missing cuz I remember my hair grew so much when I was using the curls liquid supplement. I have dermatitis on my scalp I can't oil it anymore.

I highly recommend using K18 leave in treatment once a month to get your curls back and to prevent breakage and split ends. I have retained length and kept my curls even as I continue to get blowouts and flat ironing it every two to three weeks. I can totally vouch for that Mielle growth oil. You got it girl. I love both looks , you do them both very well, as long as you take care of your hair when it’s straight, providing that nice trim that is required and then when you want to rock your curls, that’s gonna take a different type of trim because curls are a different beast within themselves. Your hair is growing magnificently just keep doing what you’re doing maintain the scalp treatment and the deep conditioning and you’ll be OK sweetie!!❤

You can have both. Use bond builders like olaplex and k18 when you blow dry and flat iron Once the damaged ends are gone. As long as you don’t straighten too often your curls will come back. Watch UA-camr hey knotty girl. She goes back and forth between curly and straight and she also colors her hair and she still has her curls.

It's length retention, most people don't know how to retain length. Everyone's hair grows at a similar rate.
Most of us use hair ties that are glued together and that glue is giving you split ends, which keeps your hair breaking off at the same place.
Another thing is heat (even with heat protection), heat change the structure of your curl pattern, when your hair is longer the ends have been heated more than the roots, so the ends thin out.
Lastly, contrary to what we were told, dirt doesn't make your hair grow. Unless your hair is in a protective style, it should be washed weekly or biweekly depending on the length.
Last time I shaved my hair off was 2 years ago, and my hair length is a little past the bottom of my bra, I have done big trims in that time too. My hair "growth" always surpasses people's hair who never cut their hair, in two years time. All because I know how to retain the length of my hair.
