If there was a Kodak gold 800 I would buy so much
Great video, just catching up on it now. Lindsay's Concrete AE-1 with Apple AirTag has seen some stuff.
I'd like to see you push Gold that far.
I’m going to try and see. Maybe not at a wedding though haha
Hit like before even watching. This is awesome.
Your Portra 400 looks incredible, need to try overexposing my film
What is your work flow to changing film do you to use it all up then switch? When I shot with film last I was just starting photography and digital was starting so I don’t remember much about it.
Taylor: I wonder if anyone made a YT video about pushing film.
Kyle McDougall: Clears throat*
Haha has he done Kodak gold 3 stops in a wedding environment to make sure it holds skin tones properly?
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto Not sure about Gold, he's done every other pro film. Maybe Matt day, Grainy days, Brae Hunzinker one of the 7 film people(we all know them). A 645 medium format camera is great to have on wedding days, it's the ol film workhorse for film portraits. I avoid 160 and just use gold and then switch to bnw for reception and dance. ilford xp2 (chefs kiss)
Pizzaman207 seems like fake account Taylor made to stimulate the comments. Prove you are real, show us your birth certificate.
CineStill 800T 👌
no flash not a fan of flash shadows
Heart skipped a beat watching that camera hit the ground, yikes!
The sound wasn’t a great one
What makes a 'film' add-on attractive to couples? Do you give them printed proof sheets or prints only? Thanks!
It’s probably the most asked question for both us - ‘will you shoot film at our wedding as well?’
I think it comes down to authenticity/non perfection/more real/maybe nostalgic memories of childhood for the final product
Upgrading to the Nikon F5 changed my life. Was doing wedding on a Pentax k1000 before paired with an Olympus MJU for reception.
Now I can do it all on the F5 with 0 out of focus or missed photos !
I would have gone f5 if the film camera wasn’t always my bonus camera. I like the form factor of the f5 better
