I've lived on Hilton Head Island for the past 34 years, and i can tell you that if you have the chance to move here.....do it! There's no better place to live, and it's paradise! If you enjoy nature, a clean and safe place to live, beauty and beaches, and fantastic locals, this is it. It's not cheap to live here by any means, but if you've been here once you'll see it's worth it! Don't worry about Hurricanes, we had a small one (Category 2, but hit next to us as a Category 2), and the Gulf Stream protects us. Privacy, beauty, safety, and prosperity...... they're all here! There's just no better place to live (my very popular and well supported opinion).
As a business owner on hilton head the town caters to the tourist and craps on the lower wage workers who cant afford to live there the corrupt leadership has turned the island into something other these workers have no affordable housing cant find workers honestly its not a great place
I'm with you. I think the SC Lowcountry is great. Not perfect, but close enough for me.

Jim, I agree. I'm getting better, but I have a long way to go. I hope people will focus on the information and not the delivery. I believe I've improved a lot this that video, but I don't disagree. Thanks for the feedback.
