Nagato - Revisiting Old Friends

- Like most players, I raced through the lower tiers in most lines, including the IJN BB line. It took a lot longer to "race" through lines, way back in the beginning of the game. But that's another video. After highlighting Adatara and Bungo, I wanted to take a new look at Nagato, with understandings I lacked seven or eight years ago when first working through this line. Great video, like always! I really enjoyed Nagato when grinding that line, however, now, when I use a T7 IJN BB, I usually take Ashitaka.
Thanks, brother! I can understand playing a premium. Two extra 410mm guns is a big benefit! :-) Plus, you get more XP, etc. when playing. All good!

Hello Ronin I have started to play some co-op games to try and get my sea legs as its been a couple of years since I played I am having trouble with the mod station a lot of things I can't get and some don't show up right I don't know if it was because of a recent update , anyways I really enjoy your game play and analysis its the best, Thanks from a 77 year old respawned player because of your videos
Hi @rogerstipe2446! And thank you very much for watching, commenting, and saying such nice things! I am glad you found your way back to the game! Co-Op is usually a very friendly environment. Random matches... let's just say they can be a bit less friendly at times. lol. We have Ops Night every Tuesday night (6pm PST, 7pm MST, 8pm CST, 9pm EST), and you would be very welcome to join us any time. A core group of between 6-14 ICOPs (some of them in your age bracket, actually) run Operations missions together for credits, laughs, and time together. It's a very low-stress hour or two of fun and you can visit our Discord (discord.gg/wTVPJAH) to say hello if you are interested. If you do, just remind me about this exchange here when you get there and I will get your permissions set up so you can have a look around. As for the Modstation, I used it for years but switched to Aslain's modpack a few months back because it is kept current a little more dependably.

I struggled with Nagato I must admit. I found the guns to be very trawly and I didn't enjoy her as much. Maybe, like you, I should go back and have another go? Good, patient game!
I struggled too, when I first went through that line. I had a blast with Kongo. But had a very rough time trying to make Fuso or Nagato effective. Kongo is fast, allowing you to reposition in a hurry. Fuso, while having plenty of guns, can be spotted from the moon and against T8 BBs can really struggle. With Nagato you get better guns, decent speed and maneuverability, and if played cautiously you can contribute even when up-tiered, as I was in this game. I watch BB play so I don't have to play them lol. Everything is Sooo Sloooow, I can't stand it ha. GG my fiend! Oops I mean Friend! ha
lol Yeah... fiend may also apply. :-) Thanks brother! And yes, BB play moves a little slower than DD play, for sure. hehe
