Hmm... I found that I really liked the ungraded footage a lot better. It had a beautiful, but colorful "filmish" look to me, straight out of the camera. I really felt that the color grading just made all the color wash out and added an unattractive bluish cast. Am I crazy?
You are not crazy at all! :) I totally understand what you mean. I personally like the color corrections i made but color correction is really a personal taste thing. I often find myself prefering the ungraded footage on other color correction comparison videos as well. Also, i was not really tweaking the image much, much of it was just how magic bullet interpreted my footage. What i personally dislike is that most of the Video Footage that comes straight out of camera just look digital to me. But thats just my personal opinion :)
