Soothe Your Period Pain With This Guided Meditation By A Clinical Psychologist (PMS Meditation)

- Period pain getting you down? This meditation for period pain and PMS has been lovingly made to ease your discomfort during your premenstrual phase and the first days of your period.
Allow yourself to be safely guided by the words spoken in a soft female voice, written and performed by a Clinical Psychologist, for a truly unique experience.
Relaxation and guided imagery can reduce pain, which so often affects us during our menstrual cycle. Sometimes it’s stomach cramps, sore breasts, back ache or headaches and other times it can be a feeling of fatigue or irritation.
Period pain affects half of all women and is a normal result of your uterus contracting. It can feel like a squeezing sensation. It’s normal and means your body is doing what it is designed to do.
PMS and period pains can make for a miserable few days when we force ourselves to continue working at the same pace as usual. This meditation encourages you to slow down and notice your energy levels. Working with instead of against your natural cycle.
Because relaxation therapy such as guided meditation are generally considered safe they can be used alongside other remedies such as heat therapy or pain medication to take the edge off your monthly discomfort.
Alongside this meditation for period pain, try using a hot water bottle or heating pad for 20 minutes. As heat therapy has been shown to be effective for reducing cramps. However, make sure to only apply heat for a short time and keep a barrier between your skin and the heat source to prevent any burning.

I’m a 14 year old girl and I’m having terrible cramps. They wouldn’t be so bad normally but they’ve been going on literally all day so my muscles are sore and it feels worse. I’m curled up with a heating pad in the fetal position listening to this and it’s helping just enough to let me breathe for a second. Thank you! And to all the women and young ladies. It's so strange how even at the age of 39 I'm still embarrassed to mention cramps. I searched UA-cam for meditations to relieve pain, which mostly focused on chronic illnesses. I finally got the courage to search for one designed for menstrual cramps. It's so stupid, but I spent most of my life telling people I had a headache or something more acceptable than period pain. Thank you for this guided meditation. It does help.

Hi just came across your message n I just thought I’d give you some info that can help. I have endometriosis as well and came across these all natural pills that help me so much it’s from majestica’s flow pills. All natural gluten free n vegan. Just look into it huh it might help you like it has helped me

I suffer from debilitating cramps on the first day of my period. It usually takes 2 hours for pain meds to take the edge off. This video is almost instant! I had to come back & comment bc I’m shook! I don’t usually get strong cramps but yesterday they were intense & woke me up out of my sleep. My usual methods of soothing weren’t working & I don’t like taking pain killers so this video was my last resort. AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! I think I only made it thru about 5-7 mins before falling asleep. I didn’t even realize I fell asleep until I woke up lolol. I super recommend!!!
I have adenomyosis and endometriosis. I have severe cramps, giant sized clots and very heavy bleeding. I am now critically anaemic and suffer from insomnia, it’s got to a stage where I can’t eat properly for 3 weeks every month. I have passed out from pain and bleeding many times and ended up in different hospitals. I am waiting for an op but due to covid19 it has been cancelled regularly. I started my period again 5 days after I finished. I feel like I am in hell. I found your video and your soothing voice is helping me relax. I’ve been crying from chronic pain all day and am so hungry but now I feel calm and relaxed. Thank you ❤️

Thank you so much for this. I have used your meditation a few times before and remembered it today. From time to time I experience cramping and burning in my ovaries. Today was one of those days. Wow, I can’t believe how helpful this video is! I’ve always had REALLY bad PMS and periods to the point where I would miss out on school and work because of it. Drs can never find anything wrong with me and have just given me medications for pain and birth control, but nothing worked very well. THIS however really has! Maybe I just needed some therapy and me time lmao, thanks for the video!

The pain is not as intense when I first started. Learning to let go has allowed me leave empty space and room in my mind. For me that is progress. I am stuck at work with no medication. I just got these intense cramps and this definitely helped me get through till i go home. So relaxing and the pain is diluted. Still there but i can bear it.
