Subtitles? Who needs subtitles when watching your videos? (Okay, some videos do require a bit of detail, but ...)
Your ability to communicate and articulate via demonstration and hand signals is superb!
You rank right up there with the best mime artists.
@@ELCADAROSA yaa correct 😊👍👍🤝🤝🤝🤝
you need to use nepros screwdrivers
@Kade Odin eat sh*t bot!
No need for subtitles or translation, your language is universal. That's the language of good job. Bravo
Absolutely well explained 👌👌👌
Brilliant engineering Sir👌👌👌
I totally agree, no words needed! thank you for this fine work, and great ideas!
Completely agree! no need for subtitles, excellent job!
Perhaps for you and 3 other people but certainly not for ~ 3200 000 viewers, including me !!!
This is simply amazing! Why couldn't I think of such a simple idea before? Always being hesitant of building a rather complex route table, but this is simple yet effective! Thank you Sir!
This is an incredibly simple and intuitive design. Saves heaps on finding an expensive router table when you don’t have the space. That Makita router (DRT50z in Australia) is also my go to for most routing projects and my big 12mm/ ½ inch router stays in the bag. I am saving this and going to cobble on of these together. WELL DONE!
Great, video, absolutely genius !👍 The simplest design I've ever seen but everything needed except a vacuum cleaner interface is there and it works like a charm. Love the box joint use case on the sliding table.
Keep your simple, clean and thorough style of making videos, it is very clear, simple to follow even without subtitles!
This is the most simple and effective router table I have ever seen! Congrats!!!
Another simple yet versatile jig. I love your thinking. It's so efficient and minimalistic in form but brutally usuable! Thnx very much. No subtitles needed whatsoever! You are the master who let's his creative process do the talking for everyone to understand!
@Hello Pat how are you doing?
@@lydiaanderson6785
Watching your clean, deliberate cuts and movements is like ASMR. Very clever router table as well. When you did the joints and the corner was perfect i had to pause to look at it. Impressive.
I have seen a good number of portable router table builds, THIS IS THE BEST ONE!!! Thank you for sharing JSK-koubou, simply fantastic.
This is the cheapest and simplest router table I saw on youtube! Thank you so much!!!!
Your precision and craftsmanship are phenomenal. I love watching you use the tool you're building to build the tool you're building.
Quite elegant in it's simplicity. You're videos are always a joy to watch.
Sir I take my hat off to you.
I have just brought that exact trimmer and I need to carry out those exact types of work.
Such a simple and elegant design.
The algorithm gods have smiled upon me today.
I have watched so many of this type of video and rarely have I been so impressed thanks so much 😉
Brilliant! Thanks so much. So many videos out there showing how to make a mini router table..using a fancy big one. I so appreciate this first step, space saving table using simple tools, for those of us just starting. You're a hero.
How nice that you kept everything clean with using a vacuum cleaner so often during your process. Very pleasing to see your projects . 😊 Thank you very much!
Brilliant how you have engineered a router table for a palm router/trimmer. Well done. Also well impressed with your 'push stick', although I have hardly used the correct word for it! Thank you for sharing.
I love how simple his ideas are yet they work perfectly.
Simple in a sense that he only uses 1 pivot point to get an adjustable range of straigt lines, but I can only think about way more complicated solutions that would probably not even work so well.
I would never be able to think of something like this, it requires you to be very familiar with geometry to create something simple and perfectly effective.
👍👍👍😊
Since he majored in quantum electrodynamics and precision machinery probably not that difficult to him!
I feel like he’s a shop teacher at a high school that could only afford a router, and he had to get creative 😊
The idea of using rubber bands for the screw clamps is simply brilliant. My compliment. Mike, Frankfurt / Germany
I use old bicycle innertubes. Cut them into half inch strips and close the ends with rubber cement (super glue works too). They'll last forever. Long after regular rubber bands deteriorate.
When the technique is mastered, the strudences, the fuss and the over acting are of more. That is what happens on this channel. It captivates you from the first video because what unfolds before you is the eloquence of knowledge and the mastery of technical mastery. Each video is a surprise that never disappoints. Since I saw the first one, I am hooked on this channel. Those who really know are instantly captivating.
Thanks Jisaku.
Still a little anal on the constant vacuuming up of the sawdust. Reminiscent of the "anal retentive chef" parody.
@@toddbloss
I don't think it's anal. The sawdust (chip) accumulation will compromise the precision. Esp. with the small machinery as this.
It’s captivating. I’m sick of the over caffeinated “Xtreem” douchebros yammering on, while doing undisclosed promotions for tool manufacturers. I’ve been thinking about doing a parody, “The Adderall Wood Bro”, but I don’t think I can maintain the shtick for long enough.
Gracias maestro por tus maravillosas enseñanzas.
Siempre desde lo sencillo y práctico.

So much options from the scratch with low money and material. A must for every beginner. I love the Makita 0700 router. Fantastic tool at reasonable costs.
What I really like about your videos is that you work in a tidy and clean manner. The fitting of the two bits of wood - satisfying.
I definitely want to make this as I don't care for the router table I bought years ago. I still use it, but don't really like it.
If I can put together the two pieces of wood using the 90 degree angles that he did, then I'll have to go for doing dovetails next.
Ah yes, I've used these a ton in my guitar shop.Sometimes I'll have my other two big router tables occupied with other projects so it's easier to just put one of these together, you can really do a lot with them, I use them primarily for cutting wood binding and routing all of the access cavity covers and pic guards for electric guitars.
Elastic bands, no cost, what's NOT to like? Brilliant
Very true. I guess very few people came across that idea.

Lol!!
This is really really good! The jig for the finger joint cuts is genius! Thanks so much for sharing!
Wow! This is brilliant! Very simple and the end result is absolutely fantastic.
So many things I love about this tutorial. Thank you!
So great. Simplicity rules. One of the best woodworking videos on YT.
And what brand are these clamps? Didn‘t see this patent in Europe yet.
Thank you. A pleasure to watch you work...simple, precise, and tidy. Very much appreciated.
The mortise and tenon was brilliant, thanks for the upload!
Top job, and I thought the elastic band idea on that type of clamp is brilliant 👍👍
Waow ! ! !, total newby here, that bought one big trimmer for years now that I still never used, and was searching how to use it under table.
Perfect for me.
Thank You.
My first time seeing a JSK-koubou video. This is surely a meticulous, step by step (no hurrying) video which I can learn a lot from without hurrying. Many thanks & am looking forward to more JSK videos.
this channel is rich with ideas, thoughtfully and artfully executed. the ideas are portable to many set-ups, even if you dont make the exact same jigs. the hold-down jig used here, but elaborated in another video, is especially brilliant, as is a pivoting fence, and other ideas
suggestion for hole-sawing in wood or mdf: silicone lube is a superb 'cutting oil' that dramatically reduces friction, eliminates burning and extends blade life-- blade is only warm to touch immediately after use
Your design, job aids, safety tips, step-by-step exposition and the video presentation are perfect. Perfect. Your art has reached its very highest pinnacle in every regard. It is so refreshing (and educational) to see a master at work. Thank you!
100% agree with your evaluation, and I 100% share your gratitude.
Yes agreed a master at work, thank you for showing us
Agree indeed
Very good video! I love your design and simplicity. I’m getting ready to make a router table and I’m glad I saw this video first. Well done.
MDF is pretty underrated for things like this, cheap yet very dimensionally accurate. You are truly inspiring!
I am not so sure. I have some MDF boards and they tend to bend as time goes on if there is moisture or pressure on them. I would try to reinforce it beneath somehow.
Simple and brilliant. I love this and explained clearly. Well done and much appreciated.
Absolutely brilliant design. I saw a few methods here I'd never previously seen.
Japanese woodworking approaches always amaze me with their elegant approach to precise construction.
I just love watching your videos, so creative yet you make it look so simple! So calm and relaxing too! Amazing job..
The simplicity is the fun part.
Beautiful. Simplicity and functionality all in one place. I watched every minute of this video.
I love the simplicity of this design!! Excellent!
I really like the discipline you have in keeping your fingers away from rotating blades and cutters. Other wood workers and wood working channels should pay attention to your techniques.
I find this video educational and inspiring. Great job, thank you.
I came for an easy router table, but I fell in love with elastic bands. Genious!
I wonder if I could be so clean and calm working guy as you are. Thank you for your encouragement.
Fantastic idea :-) would really appreciate some measurements. Im new to woodworking so any help would be great. Ive a Ryobi palm router and ive been looking for a table to use with it and saw your video. Brilliant
Professor, muito obrigado pela aula. Simplicidade e eficiência.
Muito bom marceneiro 👍
the rubber bands on the clamps is a fantastic tip for when working alone 10/10
How kind, ethic, modest you are. Thanks a lot.
Speechless. You're woodworking like you're cooking a pastry.
Very neat and simple.
It would not be a JSK-koubou project without at least one threaded insert.
I'm going to be making this Jig at the weekend, it's going to be a massive timesaver until I get my new router table. Great video as always!
What's the betting that you don't bother to get a router table ? ;-)
@@beakytwitch7905 You'd have lost the bet :P I got it a few months ago.
This guy is amazing, so simple and at the same time so perfect. bravo.
👍👍👍👍👍
Good lord, this is brilliant, just saved me a few hundred £

Just in time for my future router table. Really a good job, thank you !
Parabéns ficou show de bola top👍🇧🇷👍💯
👍
Superb video, I had planned to build a more complex table for my Makita but this will do everything I want it to and stow away more easily in my small workshop. Thank you, great job. Particularly like the box joint jig.
Thank you. Even without commentary it's one of the best and most useful video's I have seen. It has inspired me to go and get my Router out.
I'm going to try this with my Ryobi.
@Hello Jerry how are you doing?
This is going to be perfect for my workshop, something like this will help me do so much more in the small space I have! Thanks
Great video! I use the same method but have made a dust port behind the fence. Great idea for the finger joint!
*I don't understand why subtitles are needed, everything is clear from the video series🤔*
I prefer to build with Wood Glut plans.
Nice to me Tamara!
@@riosmoodie5763 I'm glad you like it . Best wishes to you and all your family! God bless you!
WHAT
Worth it just to see how the sliding fence was made....Very simple. Just like Bob and Rick from “The Router Workshop”,,,,Thank you... This one is being saved....
Hello JSK, as always your home tools are excellent. Congratulations and thanks for showing your skills. I'm going to manufacture it, and I hope it goes well. Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina
Pure genius, talents like you are to be commended.
Awesome. Love the simplicity and your thoughtful practice. Its a joy to watch!
Excellent video. Very straightforward and easy for a begginer like myself. The dislikes are probably professional woodworkers ;)
A pleasure to see you work! Thank you for sharing.
Very versatile router jig... Thanks, that's something to keep me busy whilst being in lockdown...
9:00 Bravo !
This is thinking. This is genius. Simplicity from complex thinking. Kudos.
Absolutely great idea. Can save a lot of money! Brilliant master of woodwork!
Your designs are always so clever and practical!
beautiful, soft and very skillful touches.. great job
making this right now :) just attached the board to my DeWalt handheld router. It took me several tries to find the right bolt. Its M4-.70x30 from Hillman if you're shopping at Lowe's or wherever :) I tried 8-32's but those didn't work. But the M4's work great :)
this is a really SMART application! brilliant! congrat!
I love watching your videos. in Vietnam it is very difficult to find the tools to test machines like you !
Thanks a lot for such a simple and fully functional table. I am thinking about something like it for my portable workbench. I have a very good model at yours now.
@Hello Raul how are you doing?
Simple, elegant, and very helpful. Excellent.
I have this router myself, certainly gonna try this. Amazing simple and effective. GREAT video!
simple economical practical...
in one word: brilliant! Thank you!
I love your ingenuity and your craftsmanship. Thankyou for these excellent videos.
Beautifully demonstrated. Brilliant designs.
Simply beautiful! The vacuum represents your work: simple and clean.
