I always keep a handheld and grab that if I think the problem is my radio. One small thing, I monitor the CTAF on com2 from about 20 miles out to get an idea of what is happening at the landing airport. Well done!
I also keep a handheld radio in the plane. I didn't think that I needed to use it at that time because I proved to myself that com2 and the alternate frequency in com1 had no issues. Thank you for watching and you kind words. Happy & Safe Flying!
i think I heard you guys today (Sat May 20th) while with Jax approach. Not sure where you guys were heading, but we were flying SSI to ORL. I was like - I recognize that voice.. lol
Very interesting flight... Thanks for posting.
Thank you for watching and your kind words.

Hello Ed, you did hear us. We were on our way from Toronto, Canada (CYKZ) back to Lantana, FL (KLNA). Happy & Safe Flying!
Looks like everyone else was using 16 you opted for a straight in for 10 ?
The winds were at 110 degrees, however, in hindsight I should have used 16. Thank you for watching and commenting.
What is GoPro or app you are using to get gps data on video - I’d enjoy that for my videos.
I use Garmin Virb camera and its associated software. Thank you David for watching and your kind words. Have a great weekend.
